* And Jesus answered (5679 ) and said (5627 ) unto them , For the hardness of your heart he wrote (5656 ) you this precept . * But from the beginning of the creation God made (5656 ) them male and female . * For this cause shall a man leave (5692 ) his father and mother , and cleave (5701 ) to his wife ; * And they twain shall be (5704 ) one flesh : so then they are (5748 ) no more twain , but one flesh . * What therefore God hath joined together (5656 ), let not man put asunder (5720 ).
