* And as he went (5740 ) out of the temple , one of his disciples saith (5719 ) unto him , Master , see what manner of stones and what buildings are here ! * And Jesus answering (5679 ) said (5627 ) unto him , Seest thou (5719 ) these great buildings ? there shall not be left (5686 ) one stone upon another , that shall not be thrown down (5686 ). * And as he sat (5740 ) upon the mount of Olives over against the temple , Peter and James and John and Andrew asked (5707 ) him privately , * Tell (5628 ) us , when shall these things be (5704 )? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall (5725 ) be fulfilled (5745 )? * And Jesus answering (5679 ) them began (5662 ) to say (5721 ), Take heed (5720 ) lest any man deceive (5661 ) you : * For many shall come (5695 ) in my name , saying (5723 ), I am (5748 ) Christ ; and shall deceive (5692 ) many . * And when ye shall hear (5661 ) of wars and rumours of wars , be ye not troubled (5744 ): for such things must (5748 ) needs be (5635 ); but the end shall not be yet . * For nation shall rise (5701 ) against nation , and kingdom against kingdom : and there shall be (5704 ) earthquakes in divers places , and there shall be (5704 ) famines and troubles : these are the beginnings of sorrows . * But take heed (5720 ) to yourselves : for they shall deliver you up (5692 ) to councils ; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten (5691 ): and ye shall be brought (5701 ) (5625 ) (5701 ) before rulers and kings for my sake , for a testimony against them . * And the gospel must (5748 ) first be published (5683 ) among all nations . * But when they shall lead (5632 ) you , and deliver you up (5723 ), take no thought beforehand (5720 ) what ye shall speak (5661 ), neither do ye premeditate (5720 ): but whatsoever shall be given (5686 ) you in that hour , that speak (5720 ) ye : for it is (5748 ) not ye that speak (5723 ), but the Holy Ghost . * Now the brother shall betray (5692 ) the brother to death , and the father the son ; and children shall rise up (5695 ) against their parents , and shall cause them to be put to death (5692 ). * And ye shall be (5704 ) hated (5746 ) of all men for my names sake : but he that shall endure (5660 ) unto the end , the same shall be saved (5701 ).
