* And the first day of unleavened bread , when they killed (5707 ) the passover , his disciples said (5719 ) unto him , Where wilt thou (5719 ) that we go (5631 ) and prepare (5661 ) that thou mayest eat (5632 ) the passover ? * And he sendeth forth (5719 ) two of his disciples , and saith (5719 ) unto them , Go ye (5720 ) into the city , and there shall meet (5692 ) you a man bearing (5723 ) a pitcher of water : follow (5657 ) him . * And wheresoever he shall go in (5632 ), say ye (5628 ) to the goodman of the house , The Master saith (5719 ), Where is (5748 ) the guestchamber , where I shall eat (5632 ) the passover with my disciples ? * And he will shew (5692 ) you a large upper room furnished (5772 ) and prepared : there make ready (5657 ) for us . * And his disciples went forth (5627 ), and came (5627 ) into the city , and found (5627 ) as he had said (5627 ) unto them : and they made ready (5656 ) the passover . * And in (5637 ) the evening he cometh (5736 ) with the twelve . * And as they sat (5740 ) and did eat (5723 ), Jesus said (5627 ), Verily I say (5719 ) unto you , One of you which eateth (5723 ) with me shall betray (5692 ) me . * And they began (5662 ) to be sorrowful (5745 ), and to say (5721 ) unto him one by one , Is it I ? and another said , Is it I ? * And he answered (5679 ) and said (5627 ) unto them , It is one of the twelve , that dippeth (5734 ) with me in the dish . * The Son of man indeed goeth (5719 ), as it is written (5769 ) of him : but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed (5743 )! good were it (5713 ) for that man if he had never been born (5681 ). * And as they did eat (5723 ), Jesus took (5631 ) bread , and blessed (5660 ), and brake (5656 ) it , and gave (5656 ) to them , and said (5627 ), Take (5628 ), eat (5628 ): this is (5748 ) my body . * And he took (5631 ) the cup , and when he had given thanks (5660 ), he gave (5656 ) it to them : and they all drank (5627 ) of it . * And he said (5627 ) unto them , This is (5748 ) my blood of the new testament , which is shed (5746 ) for many . * Verily I say (5719 ) unto you , I will drink (5632 ) no more of the fruit of the vine , until that day that I drink (5725 ) it new in the kingdom of God . * And when they had sung an hymn (5660 ), they went out (5627 ) into the mount of Olives . * And Jesus saith (5719 ) unto them , All ye shall be offended (5701 ) because of me this night : for it is written (5769 ), I will smite (5692 ) the shepherd , and the sheep shall be scattered (5701 ). * But after that I am risen (5683 ), I will go before (5692 ) you into Galilee . * But Peter said (5713 ) unto him , Although all shall be offended (5701 ), yet will not I . * And Jesus saith (5719 ) unto him , Verily I say (5719 ) unto thee , That this day , even in this night , before the cock crow (5658 ) twice , thou shalt deny (5695 ) me thrice . * But he spake (5707 ) the more vehemently , If I should (5753 ) die with (5629 ) thee , I will not deny (5695 ) thee in any wise . Likewise also said they (5707 ) all .
