* And they came (5736 ) to a place which was named Gethsemane : and he saith (5719 ) to his disciples , Sit ye (5657 ) here , while I shall pray (5667 ). * And he taketh (5719 ) with him Peter and James and John , and began (5662 ) to be sore amazed (5745 ), and to be very heavy (5721 ); * And saith (5719 ) unto them , My soul is (5748 ) exceeding sorrowful unto death : tarry ye (5657 ) here , and watch (5720 ). * And he went forward (5631 ) a little , and fell (5627 ) on the ground , and prayed (5711 ) that , if it were (5748 ) possible , the hour might pass (5632 ) from him . * And he said (5707 ), Abba , Father , all things are possible unto thee ; take away (5628 ) this cup from me : nevertheless not what I will (5719 ), but what thou wilt . * And he cometh (5736 ), and findeth (5719 ) them sleeping (5723 ), and saith (5719 ) unto Peter , Simon , sleepest thou (5719 )? couldest (5656 ) not thou watch (5658 ) one hour ? * Watch ye (5720 ) and pray (5737 ), lest ye enter (5632 ) into temptation . The spirit truly is ready , but the flesh is weak . * And again he went away (5631 ), and prayed (5662 ), and spake (5631 ) the same words .
