* And he said (5707 ) unto them , Have ye never read (5627 ) what David did (5656 ), when he had (5627 ) need , and was an hungred (5656 ), he , and they that were with him ? * How he went (5627 ) into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest , and did eat (5627 ) the shewbread , which is not lawful (5748 ) to eat (5629 ) but for the priests , and gave (5656 ) also to them which were (5752 ) with him ? * And he said (5707 ) unto them , The sabbath was made (5633 ) for man , and not man for the sabbath :
