* And he said , The kingdom of God is like a man who casts seed upon the ground ; * And goes to sleep and rises , night and day , and the seed sprouts and grows up , though he does not know how . * For the earth brings forth fruit by itself ; first the blade , then the ear , after that the full grain in the ear . * But when the grain is ripe , immediately he puts the sickle to it , because the harvest has come .
