* And there arose (5736 ) a great storm of wind , and the waves beat (5707 ) into the ship , so that it was now full (5745 ). * And he was (5713 ) in the hinder part of the ship , asleep (5723 ) on a pillow : and they awake (5719 ) him , and say (5719 ) unto him , Master , carest (5719 ) thou not that we perish (5731 )? * And he arose (5685 ), and rebuked (5656 ) the wind , and said (5627 ) unto the sea , Peace (5720 ), be still (5770 ). And the wind ceased (5656 ), and there was (5633 ) a great calm . * And he said (5627 ) unto them , Why are ye (5748 ) so fearful ? how is it that ye have (5719 ) no faith ? * And they feared (5675 ) exceedingly , and said (5707 ) one to another , What manner of man is (5748 ) this , that even the wind and the sea obey (5719 ) him ?
