* And he went out (5627 ) from thence , and came (5627 ) into his own country ; and his disciples follow (5719 ) him . * And when the sabbath day was come (5637 ), he began (5662 ) to teach (5721 ) in the synagogue : and many hearing (5723 ) him were astonished (5712 ), saying (5723 ), From whence hath this man these hings ? and what wisdom is this which is given (5685 ) unto him , that even such mighty works are wrought (5736 ) by his hands ? * Is (5748 ) not this the carpenter , the son of Mary , the brother of James , and Joses , and of Juda , and Simon ? and are (5748 ) not his sisters here with us ? And they were offended (5712 ) at him . * But Jesus said (5707 ) unto them , A prophet is (5748 ) not without honour , but in his own country , and among his own kin , and in his own house . * And he could (5711 ) there do (5658 ) no mighty work , save that he laid (5631 ) his hands upon a few sick folk , and healed (5656 ) them . * And he marvelled (5707 ) because of their unbelief . And he went (5707 ) round about the villages , teaching (5723 ).
