* And he called (5736 ) unto him the twelve , and began (5662 ) to send them forth (5721 ) by two and two ; and gave (5707 ) them power over unclean spirits ; * And commanded (5656 ) them that they should take (5725 ) nothing for their journey , save a staff only ; no scrip , no bread , no money in their purse : * But be shod (5772 ) with sandals ; and not put on (5672 ) (5625 ) (5670 ) two coats . * And he said (5707 ) unto them , In what place soever ye enter (5632 ) into an house , there abide (5720 ) till ye depart (5632 ) from that place . * And whosoever shall not receive (5667 ) you , nor hear (5661 ) you , when ye depart (5740 ) thence , shake off (5657 ) the dust under your feet for a testimony against them . Verily I say (5719 ) unto you , It shall be (5704 ) more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment , than for that city .
