* And again , departing (5631 ) from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon , he came (5627 ) unto the sea of Galilee , through the midst of the coasts of Decapolis . * And they bring (5719 ) unto him one that was deaf , and had an impediment in his speech ; and they beseech (5719 ) him to put (5632 ) his hand upon him . * And he took (5642 ) him aside from the multitude , and put (5627 ) his fingers into his ears , and he spit (5660 ), and touched (5662 ) his tongue ; * And looking up (5660 ) to heaven , he sighed (5656 ), and saith (5719 ) unto him , Ephphatha , that is , Be opened (5682 ). * And straightway his ears were opened (5681 ), and the string of his tongue was loosed (5681 ), and he spake (5707 ) plain . * And he charged (5668 ) them that they should tell (5632 ) no man : but the more he charged (5710 ) them , so much the more a great deal they published (5707 ) it ; * And were beyond measure astonished (5712 ), saying (5723 ), He hath done (5758 ) all things well : he maketh (5719 ) both the deaf to hear (5721 ), and the dumb to speak (5721 ).
