* When Jesus came (5631 ) into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi , he asked (5707 ) his disciples , saying (5723 ), Whom do men say (5719 ) that I the Son of man am (5750 )? * And they said (5627 ), Some say that thou art John the Baptist : some , Elias ; and others , Jeremias , or one of the prophets . * He saith (5719 ) unto them , But whom say (5719 ) ye that I am (5750 )? * And Simon Peter answered (5679 ) and said (5627 ), Thou art (5748 ) the Christ , the Son of the living (5723 ) God . * And Jesus answered (5679 ) and said (5627 ) unto him , Blessed art thou (5748 ), Simon Barjona : for flesh and blood hath not revealed (5656 ) it unto thee , but my Father which is in heaven .
