And when he was come (5627 ) into the house , Jesus prevented (5656 ) him , saying (5723 ), What thinkest (5719 ) thou , Simon ? of whom do the kings of the earth take (5719 ) custom or tribute ? of their own children , or of strangers ? * Peter saith (5719 ) unto him , Of strangers . Jesus saith (5713 ) unto him , Then are (5748 ) the children free . * Notwithstanding , lest we should offend (5661 ) them , go thou (5679 ) to the sea , and cast (5628 ) an hook , and take up (5657 ) the fish that first cometh up (5631 ); and when thou hast opened (5660 ) his mouth , thou shalt find (5692 ) a piece of money : that take (5631 ), and give (5628 ) unto them for me and thee .
