* But the farmers , when they saw the son , said among themselves , This is the heir , come , let us kill him , and possess his inheritance . * And having seized him , they cast him out of the vineyard , and killed him . * When therefore the lord of the vineyard comes , what will he do to those farmers ? * They say to him , Evil men , he will miserably destroy them , and will lease out the vineyard to other farmers , who will render him the fruits in their seasons . * Jesus says to them , Did ye never read in the scriptures , The stone that those who build rejected , this came to be in the head of the corner . This happened from Lord , and it is marvelous in our eyes ? * Because of this I say to you , that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you , and will be given to a nation producing the fruits of it . * And he who falls on this stone will be shattered , but on whomever it may fall , it will grind him to dust . * And when the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables , they knew that he spoke about them .
