* Jesus answered (5679 ) and said (5627 ) unto them , Ye do err (5744 ), not knowing (5761 ) the scriptures , nor the power of God . * For in the resurrection they neither marry (5719 ), nor are given in marriage (5743 ), but are (5748 ) as the angels of God in heaven . * But as touching the resurrection of the dead , have ye not read (5627 ) that which was spoken (5685 ) unto you by God , saying (5723 ), * I am (5748 ) the God of Abraham , and the God of Isaac , and the God of Jacob ? God is (5748 ) not the God of the dead , but of the living (5723 ).
