* Now the Pharisees came up when they heard that He had silenced the Sadducees , * and one of them , an expounder of the Law , asked Him as a test question , * »Teacher , which is the greatest Commandment in the Law ?« * He answered , * This is the greatest and foremost Commandment . * And the second is similar to it : * The whole of the Law and the Prophets is summed up in these two Commandments .«
