* Woe unto you , scribes and Pharisees , hypocrites ! for ye make clean (5719 ) the outside of the cup and of the platter , but within they are full (5719 ) of extortion and excess . * Thou blind Pharisee , cleanse (5657 ) first that which is within the cup and platter , that the outside of them may be (5638 ) clean also . * Woe unto you , scribes and Pharisees , hypocrites ! for ye are like (5719 ) unto whited (5772 ) sepulchres , which indeed appear (5727 ) beautiful outward , but are within full (5719 ) of dead mens bones , and of all uncleanness . * Even so ye also outwardly appear (5743 ) righteous unto men , but within ye are (5748 ) full of hypocrisy and iniquity . * Woe unto you , scribes and Pharisees , hypocrites ! because ye build (5719 ) the tombs of the prophets , and garnish (5719 ) the sepulchres of the righteous , * And say (5719 ), If we had been (5713 ) in the days of our fathers , we would not have been (5713 ) partakers with them in the blood of the prophets . * Wherefore ye be witnesses (5719 ) unto yourselves , that ye are (5748 ) the children of them which killed (5660 ) the prophets . * Fill ye up (5657 ) then the measure of your fathers . * Ye serpents , ye generation of vipers , how can ye (5632 ) escape the damnation of hell ?
