* And while he yet spake (5723 ), lo (5628 ), Judas , one of the twelve , came (5627 ), and with him a great multitude with swords and staves , from the chief priests and elders of the people . * Now he that betrayed (5723 ) him gave (5656 ) them a sign , saying (5723 ), Whomsoever I shall kiss (5661 ), that same is (5748 ) he : hold him fast (5657 ). * And forthwith he came (5631 ) to Jesus , and said (5627 ), Hail (5720 ), master ; and kissed (5656 ) him . * And Jesus said (5627 ) unto him , Friend , wherefore art thou come (5748 )? Then came they (5631 ), and laid (5627 ) hands on Jesus , and took (5656 ) him .
