emtv@Matthew:27:45 @ Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour, darkness came upon all the land.

emtv@Matthew:27:46 @ And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, Eli, lima sabachthani?"that is, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?"

emtv@Matthew:27:47 @ Some of those standing [by], when they heard this, said, "This [Man] is calling Elijah!"

emtv@Matthew:27:48 @ Immediately one of them ran and took a sponge, and filled it with sour wine and put it around a reed, and offered it to Him to drink.

emtv@Matthew:27:49 @ But the rest said, "Leave [Him] alone; let us see if Elijah is coming to save Him."

emtv@Matthew:27:50 @ But Jesus, again crying out with a loud voice, released His spirit.

emtv@Matthew:27:51 @ And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth was shaken, and the rocks were split,

emtv@Matthew:27:52 @ and the tombs were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had passed away were raised;

emtv@Matthew:27:53 @ and coming forth out of the tombs after His resurrection, they entered into the holy city and appeared to many.

emtv@Matthew:27:54 @ So when the centurion and those with him guarding Jesus, when they saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they were greatly afraid, saying, "Truly this was the Son of God!"

emtv@Matthew:27:55 @ And there were many women there observing from a distance, who followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering to Him,

emtv@Matthew:27:56 @ among whom were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee.
