* Then cometh (5736 ) Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John , to be baptized (5683 ) of him . * But John forbad (5707 ) him , saying (5723 ), I have (5719 ) need to be baptized (5683 ) of thee , and comest (5736 ) thou to me ? * And Jesus answering (5679 ) said (5627 ) unto him , Suffer (5628 ) it to be so now : for thus it becometh (5723 ) (5748 ) us to fulfil (5658 ) all righteousness . Then he suffered (5719 ) him .
