* And Jesus answering (5679 ) said (5627 ) unto him , Suffer (5628 ) it to be so now : for thus it becometh (5723 ) (5748 ) us to fulfil (5658 ) all righteousness . Then he suffered (5719 ) him . * And Jesus , when he was baptized (5685 ), went up (5627 ) straightway out of the water : and , lo (5628 ), the heavens were opened (5681 ) unto him , and he saw (5627 ) the Spirit of God descending (5723 ) like a dove , and lighting (5740 ) upon him : * And lo (5628 ) a voice from heaven , saying (5723 ), This is (5748 ) my beloved Son , in whom I am well pleased (5656 ).
