* Again , ye have heard (5656 ) that it hath been said (5681 ) by them of old time , Thou shalt not forswear thyself (5692 ), but shalt perform (5692 ) unto the Lord thine oaths : * But I say (5719 ) unto you , Swear (5658 ) not at all ; neither by heaven ; for it is (5748 ) Gods throne : * Nor by the earth ; for it is (5748 ) his footstool : neither by Jerusalem ; for it is (5748 ) the city of the great King . * Neither shalt thou swear (5661 ) by thy head , because thou canst (5736 ) not make (5658 ) one hair white or black . * But let your communication be (5749 ), Yea , yea ; Nay , nay : for whatsoever is more than these cometh (5748 ) of evil .
