* Therefore when thou doest (5725 ) thine alms , do not sound a trumpet (5661 ) before thee , as the hypocrites do (5719 ) in the synagogues and in the streets , that they may have glory (5686 ) of men . Verily I say (5719 ) unto you , They have (5719 ) their reward . * But when thou doest (5723 ) alms , let not thy left hand know (5628 ) what thy right hand doeth (5719 ):
