* And Jesus went round all the cities and villages , teaching in their synagogues , and preaching the glad tidings of the kingdom , and healing every sickness and every disease . * And seeing the multitudes , he was moved with compassion for them , because they were harassed and scattered about , as sheep having no shepherd . * Then he saith to his disciples , The harvest indeed is great , but the laborers are few . * Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send forth laborers for his harvest .
