* And as Jesus passed forth (5723 ) from thence , he saw (5627 ) a man , named (5746 ) Matthew , sitting (5740 ) at the receipt of custom : and he saith (5719 ) unto him , Follow (5720 ) me . And he arose (5631 ), and followed (5656 ) him . * And it came to pass (5633 ), as Jesus sat at meat (5740 ) in the house , behold (5628 ), many publicans and sinners came (5631 ) and sat down (5711 ) with him and his disciples .
