akjv@Psalms:107:1 @ O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endures for ever.

akjv@Psalms:107:2 @ Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

akjv@Psalms:107:3 @ And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.

akjv@Psalms:107:4 @ They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.

akjv@Psalms:107:5 @ Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.

akjv@Psalms:107:6 @ Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.

akjv@Psalms:107:7 @ And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.

akjv@Psalms:107:8 @ Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

akjv@Psalms:107:9 @ For he satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness.

akjv@Psalms:107:10 @ Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;

akjv@Psalms:107:11 @ Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:

akjv@Psalms:107:12 @ Therefore he brought down their heart with labor; they fell down, and there was none to help.

akjv@Psalms:107:13 @ Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.

akjv@Psalms:107:14 @ He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bands in sunder.

akjv@Psalms:107:15 @ Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

akjv@Psalms:107:16 @ For he has broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.

akjv@Psalms:107:17 @ Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.

akjv@Psalms:107:18 @ Their soul abhors all manner of meat; and they draw near to the gates of death.

akjv@Psalms:107:19 @ Then they cry to the LORD in their trouble, and he saves them out of their distresses.

akjv@Psalms:107:20 @ He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

akjv@Psalms:107:21 @ Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

akjv@Psalms:107:22 @ And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.

akjv@Psalms:107:23 @ They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;

akjv@Psalms:107:24 @ These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.

akjv@Psalms:107:25 @ For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up the waves thereof.

akjv@Psalms:107:26 @ They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.

akjv@Psalms:107:27 @ They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit' end.

akjv@Psalms:107:28 @ Then they cry to the LORD in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distresses.

akjv@Psalms:107:29 @ He makes the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.

akjv@Psalms:107:30 @ Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he brings them to their desired haven.

akjv@Psalms:107:31 @ Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

akjv@Psalms:107:32 @ Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.

akjv@Psalms:107:33 @ He turns rivers into a wilderness, and the springs into dry ground;

akjv@Psalms:107:34 @ A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.

akjv@Psalms:107:35 @ He turns the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into springs.

akjv@Psalms:107:36 @ And there he makes the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;

akjv@Psalms:107:37 @ And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.

akjv@Psalms:107:38 @ He blesses them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffers not their cattle to decrease.

akjv@Psalms:107:39 @ Again, they are diminished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.

akjv@Psalms:107:40 @ He pours contempt on princes, and causes them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way.

akjv@Psalms:107:41 @ Yet sets he the poor on high from affliction, and makes him families like a flock.

akjv@Psalms:107:42 @ The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.

akjv@Psalms:107:43 @ Whoever is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the loving kindness of the LORD.

akjv@Psalms:108:1 @ O god, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

akjv@Psalms:108:2 @ Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.

akjv@Psalms:108:3 @ I will praise you, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises to you among the nations.

akjv@Psalms:108:4 @ For your mercy is great above the heavens: and your truth reaches to the clouds.

akjv@Psalms:108:5 @ Be you exalted, O God, above the heavens: and your glory above all the earth;

akjv@Psalms:108:6 @ That your beloved may be delivered: save with your right hand, and answer me.

akjv@Psalms:108:7 @ God has spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

akjv@Psalms:108:8 @ Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of my head; Judah is my lawgiver;

akjv@Psalms:108:9 @ Moab is my wash pot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.

akjv@Psalms:108:10 @ Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

akjv@Psalms:108:11 @ Will not you, O God, who have cast us off? and will not you, O God, go forth with our hosts?

akjv@Psalms:108:12 @ Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

akjv@Psalms:108:13 @ Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

akjv@Psalms:109:1 @ Hold not your peace, O God of my praise;

akjv@Psalms:109:2 @ For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.

akjv@Psalms:109:3 @ They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.

akjv@Psalms:109:4 @ For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself to prayer.

akjv@Psalms:109:5 @ And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.

akjv@Psalms:109:6 @ Set you a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.

akjv@Psalms:109:10 @ Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.

akjv@Psalms:109:11 @ Let the extortionist catch all that he has; and let the strangers spoil his labor.

akjv@Psalms:109:12 @ Let there be none to extend mercy to him: neither let there be any to favor his fatherless children.

akjv@Psalms:109:13 @ Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.

akjv@Psalms:109:14 @ Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.

akjv@Psalms:109:15 @ Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.

akjv@Psalms:109:16 @ Because that he remembered not to show mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.

akjv@Psalms:109:17 @ As he loved cursing, so let it come to him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.

akjv@Psalms:109:18 @ As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.

akjv@Psalms:109:20 @ Let this be the reward of my adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.

akjv@Psalms:109:28 @ Let them curse, but bless you: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let your servant rejoice.

akjv@Psalms:109:29 @ Let my adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.

akjv@Psalms:111:10 @ The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endures for ever.

akjv@Psalms:112:10 @ The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
