* And I will give (5692 ) power unto my two witnesses , and they shall prophesy (5692 ) a thousand two hundred and threescore days , clothed in (5772 ) sackcloth . * These are (5748 ) the two olive trees , and the two candlesticks standing (5761 ) before the God of the earth . * And if any man will (5725 ) hurt (5658 ) them , fire proceedeth (5736 ) out of their mouth , and devoureth (5719 ) their enemies : and if any man will (5725 ) hurt (5658 ) them , he must (5748 ) in this manner be killed (5683 ). * These have (5719 ) power to shut (5658 ) heaven , that it rain (5725 ) not in the days of their prophecy : and have (5719 ) power over waters to turn (5721 ) them to blood , and to smite (5658 ) the earth with all plagues , as often as they will (5661 ). * And when they shall have finished (5661 ) their testimony , the beast that ascendeth (5723 ) out of the bottomless pit shall make (5692 ) war against them , and shall overcome (5692 ) them , and kill (5692 ) them . * And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city , which spiritually is called (5743 ) Sodom and Egypt , where also our Lord was crucified (5681 ). * And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see (5692 ) their dead bodies three days and an half , and shall not suffer (5692 ) their dead bodies to be put (5683 ) in graves . * And they that dwell (5723 ) upon the earth shall rejoice (5692 ) over them , and make merry (5701 ), and shall send (5692 ) gifts one to another ; because these two prophets tormented (5656 ) them that dwelt (5723 ) on the earth . * And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered (5627 ) into them , and they stood (5627 ) upon their feet ; and great fear fell (5627 ) upon them which saw (5723 ) them . * And they heard (5656 ) a great voice from heaven saying (5723 ) unto them , Come up (5628 ) hither . And they ascended up (5627 ) to heaven in a cloud ; and their enemies beheld (5656 ) them . * And the same hour was there (5633 ) a great earthquake , and the tenth part of the city fell (5627 ), and in the earthquake were slain (5681 ) of men seven thousand : and the remnant were (5633 ) affrighted , and gave (5656 ) glory to the God of heaven . * The second woe is past (5627 ); and , behold (5628 ), the third woe cometh (5736 ) quickly . * And the seventh angel sounded (5656 ); and there were (5633 ) great voices in heaven , saying (5723 ), The kingdoms of this world are become (5633 ) the kingdoms of our Lord , and of his Christ ; and he shall reign (5692 ) for ever and ever .
