* Therefore rejoice (5744 ), ye heavens , and ye that dwell (5723 ) in them . Woe to the inhabiters (5723 ) of the earth and of the sea ! for the devil is come down (5627 ) unto you , having (5723 ) great wrath , because he knoweth (5761 ) that he hath (5719 ) but a short time . * And when the dragon saw (5627 ) that he was cast (5681 ) unto the earth , he persecuted (5656 ) the woman which brought forth (5627 ) the man child . * And to the woman were given (5681 ) two wings of a great eagle , that she might fly (5741 ) into the wilderness , into her place , where she is nourished (5743 ) for a time , and times , and half a time , from the face of the serpent . * And the serpent cast (5627 ) out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman , that he might cause (5661 ) her to be carried away of the flood . * And the earth helped (5656 ) the woman , and the earth opened (5656 ) her mouth , and swallowed up (5627 ) the flood which the dragon cast (5627 ) out of his mouth . * And the dragon was wroth (5681 ) with the woman , and went (5627 ) to make (5658 ) war with the remnant of her seed , which keep (5723 ) the commandments of God , and have (5723 ) the testimony of Jesus Christ .
