* Then I looked and there was a white cloud , and sitting on the cloud was one like a son of man . He had on his head a golden crown and in his hand a sharp sickle . * Another angel came out of the Temple and shouted with a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud , "Thrust in your sickle and reap , for the hour to reap has come , for the harvest of the earth is dry ." * He who was sitting on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth and the earth was reaped . * Then another angel came out from the Temple that is in heaven and he too had a sharp sickle . * Another angel came out from the altar , he who has power over fire , and he called with a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle , "Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth , for its grapes are fully ripe ." * Then the angel swung his sickle to the earth and gathered the vintage of the earth and flung it into the great winepress of the wrath of God . * The winepress was trodden outside the city and blood came out from the wine-press as high as the horses ' bridles for a thousand and six hundred furlongs .
