* And after these things I heard (5656 ) a great voice of much people in heaven , saying (5723 ), Alleluia ; Salvation , and glory , and honour , and power , unto the Lord our God : * For true and righteous are his judgments : for he hath judged (5656 ) the great whore , which did corrupt (5707 ) the earth with her fornication , and hath avenged (5656 ) the blood of his servants at her hand . * And again they said (5758 ), Alleluia . And her smoke rose up (5719 ) for ever and ever . * And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down (5627 ) and worshipped (5656 ) God that sat (5740 ) on the throne , saying (5723 ), Amen ; Alleluia . * And a voice came (5627 ) out of the throne , saying (5723 ), Praise (5720 ) our God , all ye his servants , and ye that fear (5740 ) him , both small and great . * And I heard (5656 ) as it were the voice of a great multitude , and as the voice of many waters , and as the voice of mighty thunderings , saying (5723 ), Alleluia : for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth (5656 ). * Let us be glad (5725 ) and rejoice (5741 ), and give (5632 ) honour to him : for the marriage of the Lamb is come (5627 ), and his wife hath made herself ready (5656 ). * And to her was granted (5681 ) that she should be arrayed (5643 ) in fine linen , clean and white : for the fine linen is (5748 ) the righteousness of saints . * And he saith (5719 ) unto me , Write (5657 ), Blessed are they which are called (5772 ) unto the marriage supper of the Lamb . And he saith (5719 ) unto me , These are (5748 ) the true sayings of God . * And I fell (5627 ) at his feet to worship (5658 ) him . And he said (5719 ) unto me , See (5720 ) thou do it not : I am (5748 ) thy fellowservant , and of thy brethren that have (5723 ) the testimony of Jesus : worship (5657 ) God : for the testimony of Jesus is (5748 ) the spirit of prophecy . * And I saw (5627 ) heaven opened (5772 ), and behold (5628 ) a white horse ; and he that sat (5740 ) upon him was called (5746 ) Faithful and True , and in righteousness he doth judge (5719 ) and make war (5719 ). * His eyes were as a flame of fire , and on his head were many crowns ; and he had (5723 ) a name written (5772 ), that no man knew (5758 ), but he himself . * And he was clothed (5772 ) with a vesture dipped (5772 ) in blood : and his name is called (5743 ) The Word of God . * And the armies which were in heaven followed (5707 ) him upon white horses , clothed (5765 ) in fine linen , white and clean . * And out of his mouth goeth (5736 ) a sharp sword , that with it he should smite (5661 ) the nations : and he shall rule (5692 ) them with a rod of iron : and he treadeth (5719 ) the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God . * And he hath (5719 ) on his vesture and on his thigh a name written (5772 ), KING OF KINGS , AND LORD OF LORDS . * And I saw (5627 ) an angel standing (5761 ) in the sun ; and he cried (5656 ) with a loud voice , saying (5723 ) to all the fowls that fly (5740 ) in the midst of heaven , Come (5773 ) and gather yourselves together (5744 ) unto the supper of the great God ; * That ye may eat (5632 ) the flesh of kings , and the flesh of captains , and the flesh of mighty men , and the flesh of horses , and of them that sit (5740 ) on them , and the flesh of all men , both free and bond , both small and great . * And I saw (5627 ) the beast , and the kings of the earth , and their armies , gathered together (5772 ) to make (5658 ) war against him that sat (5740 ) on the horse , and against his army . * And the beast was taken (5681 ), and with him the false prophet that wrought (5660 ) miracles before him , with which he deceived (5656 ) them that had received (5631 ) the mark of the beast , and them that worshipped (5723 ) his image . These both were cast (5681 ) alive (5723 ) into a lake of fire burning (5746 ) with brimstone . * And the remnant were slain (5681 ) with the sword of him that sat (5740 ) upon the horse , which sword proceeded (5740 ) out of his mouth : and all the fowls were filled (5681 ) with their flesh . * And I saw (5627 ) an angel come down (5723 ) from heaven , having (5723 ) the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand . * And he laid hold on (5656 ) the dragon , that old serpent , which is (5748 ) the Devil , and Satan , and bound (5656 ) him a thousand years , * And cast (5627 ) him into the bottomless pit , and shut him up (5656 ), and set a seal (5656 ) upon him , that he should deceive (5661 ) the nations no more , till the thousand years should be fulfilled (5686 ): and after that he must (5748 ) be loosed (5683 ) a little season . * And I saw (5627 ) thrones , and they sat (5656 ) upon them , and judgment was given (5681 ) unto them : and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded (5772 ) for the witness of Jesus , and for the word of God , and which had not worshipped (5656 ) the beast , neither his image , neither had received (5627 ) his mark upon their foreheads , or in their hands ; and they lived (5656 ) and reigned (5656 ) with Christ a thousand years . * But the rest of the dead lived not again (5656 ) until the thousand years were finished (5686 ). This is the first resurrection . * Blessed and holy is he that hath (5723 ) part in the first resurrection : on such the second death hath (5719 ) no power , but they shall be (5704 ) priests of God and of Christ , and shall reign (5692 ) with him a thousand years . * And when the thousand years are expired (5686 ), Satan shall be loosed (5701 ) out of his prison , * And shall go out (5695 ) to deceive (5658 ) the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth , Gog and Magog , to gather them together (5629 ) to battle : the number of whom is as the sand of the sea . * And they went up (5627 ) on the breadth of the earth , and compassed the camp of the saints about (5656 ), and the beloved (5772 ) city : and fire came down (5627 ) from God out of heaven , and devoured (5627 ) them . * And the devil that deceived (5723 ) them was cast (5681 ) into the lake of fire and brimstone , where the beast and the false prophet are , and shall be tormented (5701 ) day and night for ever and ever . * And I saw (5627 ) a great white throne , and him that sat (5740 ) on it , from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away (5627 ); and there was found (5681 ) no place for them . * And I saw (5627 ) the dead , small and great , stand (5761 ) before God ; and the books were opened (5681 ): and another book was opened (5681 ), which is (5748 ) the book of life : and the dead were judged (5681 ) out of those things which were written (5772 ) in the books , according to their works . * And the sea gave up (5656 ) the dead which were in it ; and death and hell delivered up (5656 ) the dead which were in them : and they were judged (5681 ) every man according to their works . * And death and hell were cast (5681 ) into the lake of fire . This is (5748 ) the second death . * And whosoever was not found (5681 ) written (5772 ) in the book of life was cast (5681 ) into the lake of fire . * And I saw (5627 ) a new heaven and a new earth : for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away (5627 ); and there was (5748 ) no more sea .
