* And this , knowing the time , that the hour is now for us to awake out of sleep . For our salvation is now nearer than when we believed . * The night has advanced and the day has approached . Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness , and let us put on the weapons of light . * Let us walk decently as in the day , not in revelry and drunkenness , not in beddings and wantonness , not in strife and envy . * But clothe on the Lord Jesus Christ , and make no forethought for lusts of the flesh .
