* God forbid (5636 ): yea , let God be (5737 ) true , but every man a liar ; as it is written (5769 ), That thou mightest be justified (5686 ) in thy sayings , and mightest overcome (5661 ) when thou art judged (5745 ). * But if our unrighteousness commend (5719 ) the righteousness of God , what shall we say (5692 )? Is God unrighteous who taketh (5723 ) vengeance ? (I speak (5719 ) as a man ) * God forbid (5636 ): for then how shall God judge (5692 ) (5719 ) the world ? * For if the truth of God hath more abounded (5656 ) through my lie unto his glory ; why yet am I also judged (5743 ) as a sinner ?
