* What shall we say (5692 ) then that Abraham our father , as pertaining to the flesh , hath found (5760 )? * For if Abraham were justified (5681 ) by works , he hath (5719 ) whereof to glory ; but not before God . * For what saith (5719 ) the scripture ? Abraham believed (5656 ) God , and it was counted (5681 ) unto him for righteousness . * Now to him that worketh (5740 ) is the reward not reckoned (5736 ) of grace , but of debt . * But to him that worketh (5740 ) not , but believeth (5723 ) on him that justifieth (5723 ) the ungodly , his faith is counted (5736 ) for righteousness . * Even as David also describeth (5719 ) the blessedness of the man , unto whom God imputeth (5736 ) righteousness without works , * Saying , Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven (5681 ), and whose sins are covered (5681 ). * Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute (5667 ) sin .
