* Therefore we are buried with (5648 ) him by baptism into death : that like as Christ was raised up (5681 ) from the dead by the glory of the Father , even so we also should walk (5661 ) in newness of life . * For if we have been (5754 ) planted together in the likeness of his death , we shall be (5704 ) also in the likeness of his resurrection : * Knowing (5723 ) this , that our old man is crucified with (5681 ) him , that the body of sin might be destroyed (5686 ), that henceforth we should not serve (5721 ) sin . * For he that is dead (5631 ) is freed (5769 ) from sin . * Now if we be dead (5627 ) with Christ , we believe (5719 ) that we shall also live (5692 ) with him : * Knowing (5761 ) that Christ being raised (5685 ) from the dead dieth (5719 ) no more ; death hath no more dominion over (5719 ) him . * For in that he died (5627 ), he died (5627 ) unto sin once : but in that he liveth (5719 ), he liveth (5719 ) unto God . * Likewise reckon (5737 ) ye also yourselves to be (5750 ) dead indeed unto sin , but alive (5723 ) unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord .
