* Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect (5758 ). For they are not all Israel , which are of Israel : * Neither , because they are (5748 ) the seed of Abraham , are they all children : but , In Isaac shall thy seed be called (5701 ). * That is (5748 ), They which are the children of the flesh , these are not the children of God : but the children of the promise are counted (5736 ) for the seed . * For this is the word of promise , At this time will I come (5695 ), and Sara shall have (5704 ) a son . * And not only this ; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one (5723 ), even by our father Isaac ; * (For the children being not yet born (5685 ), neither having done (5660 ) any good or evil , that the purpose of God according to election might stand (5725 ), not of works , but of him that calleth (5723 );) * It was said (5681 ) unto her , The elder shall serve (5692 ) the younger . * As it is written (5769 ), Jacob have I loved (5656 ), but Esau have I hated (5656 ).
