* Holding fast (5740 ) the faithful word as he hath been taught , that he may be (5753 ) able by sound (5723 ) doctrine both to exhort (5721 ) and to convince (5721 ) the gainsayers (5723 ). * For there are (5748 ) many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers , specially they of the circumcision : * Whose mouths must (5748 ) be stopped (5721 ), who subvert (5719 ) whole houses , teaching (5723 ) things which they ought (5748 ) not , for filthy lucres sake .
