Zechariah:10-11

acv@Zechariah:10:1 @ Ask ye of LORD rain in the time of the latter rain, [even of] LORD who makes lightnings, and he will give them showers of rain, to everyone grass in the field.

acv@Zechariah:10:2 @ For the teraphim have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and they have told FALSE dreams. They comfort in vain. Therefore they go their way like sheep. They are afflicted, because there is no shepherd.

acv@Zechariah:10:3 @ My anger is kindled against the shepherds, and I will punish the he-goats. For LORD of hosts has visited his flock, the house of Judah, and will make them as his goodly horse in the battle.

acv@Zechariah:10:4 @ From him shall come forth the corner-stone, from him the nail, from him the battle bow, from him every ruler together.

acv@Zechariah:10:5 @ And they shall be as mighty men, treading down [their enemies] in the mire of the streets in the battle. And they shall fight, because LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.

acv@Zechariah:10:6 @ And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them back. For I have mercy upon them, and they shall be as though I had not cast them off. For I am LORD their God, and I will hear th

acv@Zechariah:10:7 @ And Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine. Yea, their sons shall see it, and rejoice. Their heart shall be glad in LORD.

acv@Zechariah:10:8 @ I will whistle for them, and gather them. For I have redeemed them, and they shall increase as they have increased.

acv@Zechariah:10:9 @ And I will sow them among the peoples, and they shall remember me in far countries. And they shall live with their sons, and shall return.

acv@Zechariah:10:10 @ I will also bring them again out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria. And I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon, and [until space] shall not be found for them.

acv@Zechariah:10:11 @ And he will pass through the sea of affliction, and will smite the waves in the sea, and all the depths of the Nile shall dry up. And the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the scepter of Egypt shall depart.

acv@Zechariah:10:12 @ And I will strengthen them in LORD, and they shall walk up and down in his name, says LORD.

acv@Zechariah:11:1 @ Open thy doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour thy cedars.

acv@Zechariah:11:2 @ Wail, O fir tree, for the cedar is fallen, because the fine ones are destroyed. Wail, O ye oaks of Bashan, for the strong forest has come down.

acv@Zechariah:11:3 @ A voice of the wailing of the shepherds, for their glory is destroyed. A voice of the roaring of young lions, for the pride of the Jordan is laid waste.

acv@Zechariah:11:4 @ Thus said LORD my God: Feed the flock of slaughter,

acv@Zechariah:11:5 @ whose possessors kill them, and hold themselves not guilty. And those who sell them say, Blessed be LORD, for I am rich, and their own shepherds pity them not.

acv@Zechariah:11:6 @ For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, says LORD. But, lo, I will deliver the men each one into his neighbor's hand, and into the hand of his king. And they shall smite the land, and I will not deliver them out of the

acv@Zechariah:11:7 @ So I fed the flock of slaughter, truly the poor of the flock. And I took to me two staves, the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands, and I fed the flock.

acv@Zechariah:11:8 @ And I cut off the three shepherds in one month, for my soul was weary of them, and their soul also loathed me.

acv@Zechariah:11:9 @ Then I said, I will not feed you. That which dies, let it die, and that which is to be cut off, let it be cut off, and let those who are left eat each one the flesh of another.

acv@Zechariah:11:10 @ And I took my staff Beauty, and cut it apart, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the peoples.

acv@Zechariah:11:11 @ And it was broken in that day, and thus the poor of the flock who gave heed to me knew that it was the word of LORD.

acv@Zechariah:11:12 @ And I said to them, If ye think good, give me my wage, and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my wage thirty [pieces] of silver.

acv@Zechariah:11:13 @ And LORD said to me, Cast it to the potter, the good price that I was valued by them. And I took the thirty [pieces] of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of LORD.

acv@Zechariah:11:14 @ Then I cut apart my other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.

acv@Zechariah:11:15 @ And LORD said to me, Take to thee yet again the instruments of a foolish shepherd.

acv@Zechariah:11:16 @ For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, who will not visit those who are cut off, nor will he seek those who are scattered, nor heal that which is broken, nor feed that which is sound, but he will eat the flesh of the fat,

acv@Zechariah:11:17 @ Woe to the worthless shepherd who leaves the flock! The sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye. His arm shall be entirely dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.

acv@Zechariah:12:1 @ The burden of the word of LORD concerning Israel. [Thus] says LORD, who stretches forth the heavens, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him:
