jub@Mark:16:8 @ And they went out quickly and fled from the sepulchre, for they trembled and were amazed; neither said they any thing to anyone, for they were afraid.

jub@Luke:1:2 @ even as those who were eyewitnesses from the beginning taught us and [thus] were ministers of the word,

jub@Luke:1:6 @ And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord, blameless.

jub@Luke:1:7 @ And they had no child because Elisabeth was barren, and they both were [now] well advanced in years.

jub@Luke:1:10 @ And the whole multitude of the people were praying outside at the time of incense.

jub@Luke:1:23 @ And it came to pass that as soon as the days of his ministration were accomplished, he departed to his own house.

jub@Luke:1:35 @ And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee; therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called [the] Son of God.

jub@Luke:1:45 @ And blessed [is] she that believed, for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

jub@Luke:1:60 @ And his mother answered and said, Not [so], but he shall be called John.

jub@Luke:1:65 @ And fear came on all that dwelt round about them, and all these things were spoken of throughout all the hill country of Judaea.

jub@Luke:1:70 @ as he spoke by the mouth of the saints who from the beginning were his prophets;

jub@Luke:2:6 @ And so it was that while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

jub@Luke:2:8 @ And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

jub@Luke:2:15 @ And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go unto Bethlehem and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord has made known unto us.

jub@Luke:2:18 @ And all those that heard [it] marvelled at those things which were told them by the shepherds.

jub@Luke:2:21 @ And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called Jesus, which he was called by the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

jub@Luke:2:22 @ And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem to present [him] to the Lord

jub@Luke:2:33 @ And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.

jub@Luke:2:47 @ And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.

jub@Luke:2:48 @ And when they saw him, they were amazed; and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? Behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.

jub@Luke:3:11 @ He answered and said unto them, He that has two coats, let him impart to him that has none; and he that has food, let him do likewise.

jub@Luke:3:15 @ And as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts of John, whether he were the Christ, or not,

jub@Luke:3:16 @ John answered, saying unto [them] all, I indeed baptize you in water, but one mightier than I comes, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose; he shall baptize you in [the] Holy Spirit and fire;

jub@Luke:3:21 @ Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass that, Jesus also being baptized and praying, the heaven was opened,

jub@Luke:4:2 @ for forty days and was tempted of the devil. And in those days he ate nothing; and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

jub@Luke:4:4 @ And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

jub@Luke:4:8 @ And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan; for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

jub@Luke:4:20 @ And he closed the book, and he gave [it] again to the minister and sat down. And the eyes of all those that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

jub@Luke:4:25 @ But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land,

jub@Luke:4:27 @ And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, and none of them was cleansed, except Naaman the Syrian.

jub@Luke:4:28 @ And all those in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath

jub@Luke:4:32 @ And they were astonished at his doctrine, for his word was with power.

jub@Luke:4:36 @ And they were all amazed and spoke among themselves, saying, What word [is] this! For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.

jub@Luke:5:2 @ and saw two ships that were by [the shore of] the lake, but the fishermen were gone out of them and were washing [their] nets.

jub@Luke:5:7 @ And they beckoned unto [their] partners, who were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

jub@Luke:5:9 @ For he was overcome with fear, and all that [were] with him, at the catch of the fishes which they had taken;

jub@Luke:5:10 @ and likewise James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from now on thou shalt catch men.

jub@Luke:5:17 @ And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, who were come out of every town of Galilee and Judaea and Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was [present] to heal them.

jub@Luke:5:26 @ And they were all amazed, and they glorified God and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen marvels today.

jub@Luke:6:3 @ And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when he and those that were with him were hungry,

jub@Luke:6:4 @ how he went into the house of God and did take and eat the showbread and gave also to those that were with him, which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone?

jub@Luke:6:11 @ And they were filled with madness and talked one with another [about] what they might do to Jesus.

jub@Luke:6:18 @ and those that were tormented with unclean spirits were healed.

jub@Luke:7:12 @ Now when he came near to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow; and many people from the city were with her.

jub@Luke:7:20 @ When the men were come unto him, they said, John the Baptist has sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?

jub@Luke:7:21 @ And in that same hour he cured many of [their] infirmities and plagues and of evil spirits, and unto many [that were] blind he gave sight.

jub@Luke:7:24 @ And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind?

jub@Luke:7:39 @ Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw [it], he spoke within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman [this is] that touches him, for she is a sinner.

jub@Luke:7:43 @ Simon answered and said, I suppose that [he] to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.

jub@Luke:8:4 @ And when many people were gathered together and were come to him out of every city, he spoke by a parable:

jub@Luke:8:21 @ And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are those who hear the word of God and do it.

jub@Luke:8:23 @ But as they sailed, he fell asleep; and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were being filled [with] [water] and were in jeopardy.

jub@Luke:8:30 @ And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion, because many demons were entered into him.

jub@Luke:8:33 @ Then the demons went out of the man and entered into the swine, and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake and were choked.

jub@Luke:8:35 @ Then they went out to see what was done and came to Jesus and found the man, out of whom the demons were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind; and they were afraid.

jub@Luke:8:37 @ Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them, for they were taken with great fear; and he went up into the ship and returned back again.

jub@Luke:8:38 @ Now the man out of whom the demons were departed besought him that he might be with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying,

jub@Luke:8:40 @ And it came to pass that when Jesus returned, the people received him, for they were all waiting for him.

jub@Luke:8:45 @ Then Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and those that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press [thee], and sayest thou, Who touched me?

jub@Luke:8:50 @ But when Jesus heard [it], he answered him, saying, Fear not; only believe, and she shall be made whole.

jub@Luke:8:56 @ And her parents were astonished, but he charged them that they should tell no one what was done.:

jub@Luke:9:10 @ And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.

jub@Luke:9:14 @ For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down in companies of fifty.

jub@Luke:9:17 @ And they ate and were all filled, and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets.

jub@Luke:9:18 @ And it came to pass as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him, and he asked them, saying, Who do the people say that I am?

jub@Luke:9:30 @ And, behold, two men talked with him, who were Moses and Elijah,

jub@Luke:9:32 @ But Peter and those that were with him were heavy with sleep, and when they awoke, they saw his glory and the two men that stood with him.

jub@Luke:9:37 @ And it came to pass, that on the next day, when they were come down from the mountain, many people met him.

jub@Luke:9:43 @ And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they all wondered at all [the] things which Jesus did, he said unto his disciples,

jub@Luke:9:49 @ And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out demons in thy name; and we forbade him, because he does not follow with us.

jub@Luke:10:28 @ And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right; do this, and thou shalt live.

jub@Luke:10:41 @ And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things;

jub@Luke:11:45 @ Then one of the lawyers answered and said unto him, Master, saying these things, thou dost reproach us also.

jub@Luke:11:52 @ Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and those that were entering in, ye hindered.

jub@Luke:12:1 @ In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

jub@Luke:13:1 @ There were present at the same time some that told him of the Galilaeans whose blood Pilate had mingled with his sacrifices.

jub@Luke:13:2 @ And Jesus, answering, said unto them, Think ye that these Galilaeans suffered such things because they were greater sinners than all the [other] Galilaeans?

jub@Luke:13:4 @ Or those eighteen upon whom the tower in Siloam fell and slew them, think ye that they were greater debtors than [all the other] men that dwelt in Jerusalem?

jub@Luke:13:14 @ And the prince of the synagogue answered with indignation because Jesus had healed on the sabbath, and said unto the people, There are six days in which it behooves [men] to work; in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.

jub@Luke:13:15 @ The Lord then answered him and said, [Thou] hypocrite, does not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or [his] ass from the stall and lead [it] away to drink?

jub@Luke:13:17 @ And as he said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed, but all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

jub@Luke:14:4 @ And they were silent. And he took [him] and healed him and dismissed him

jub@Luke:14:5 @ and answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day?

jub@Luke:14:7 @ And observing how they chose the first seats at the table, he put forth a parable to those who were invited, saying unto them,

jub@Luke:14:17 @ and sent his servant at supper time to say to those that were called, Come, for all things are now ready.

jub@Luke:14:24 @ For I say unto you, That none of those men which were called shall taste of my supper.

jub@Luke:16:14 @ And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things, and they derided him.

jub@Luke:16:16 @ The law and the prophets [were] until John; since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and whosoever [will] presses into it.

jub@Luke:17:2 @ It would be better for him if a millstone turned by an ass were placed around his neck and he [were] cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.

jub@Luke:17:9 @ Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not.

jub@Luke:17:12 @ And as he entered into a certain village, ten men that were lepers met him, who stood afar off

jub@Luke:17:14 @ When he saw [them], he said unto them, Go show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass that as they went, they were cleansed.

jub@Luke:17:17 @ And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where [are] the nine?

jub@Luke:17:18 @ Were there not found any returning to give glory to God, except this stranger?

jub@Luke:17:20 @ And when he was asked of the Pharisees when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God does not come with observation;

jub@Luke:17:27 @ They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.

jub@Luke:17:37 @ And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Where the body [is], there will the eagles be gathered together.:

jub@Luke:18:9 @ And he spoke this parable unto some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous and despised others:

jub@Luke:19:27 @ Moreover, those enemies of mine, who were unwilling that I should reign over them, bring them here and slay [them] before me.

jub@Luke:19:32 @ And those that were sent went and found even as he had said unto them.

jub@Luke:19:33 @ And as they were loosing the colt, its owners said unto them, Why loose ye the colt?

jub@Luke:19:40 @ And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that if these should be silent the stones would immediately cry out.

jub@Luke:19:48 @ and could not find what they might do, for all the people were very attentive to hear him.:

jub@Luke:20:3 @ And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing, and answer me:

jub@Luke:20:7 @ And they answered that they knew not from where.

jub@Luke:20:24 @ Show me a denarius. Whose image and inscription does it have? They answered and said, Caesar's.

jub@Luke:20:26 @ And they could not take hold of his words before the people, and they marvelled at his answer and were silent.

jub@Luke:20:29 @ There were therefore seven brethren, and the first took a wife and died without children.

jub@Luke:22:5 @ And they were glad and covenanted to give him money.

jub@Luke:22:44 @ And being in agony, he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

jub@Luke:22:49 @ When those who were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?

jub@Luke:22:51 @ And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear and healed him.

jub@Luke:22:52 @ Then Jesus said unto the princes of the priests and captains of the temple and the elders, who were come to him, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves?

jub@Luke:22:55 @ And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall and were set down together, Peter sat down among them.

jub@Luke:23:3 @ Then Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest [it].

jub@Luke:23:5 @ And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee to this place.

jub@Luke:23:6 @ When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the man were a Galilaean.

jub@Luke:23:9 @ Then he questioned with him in many words, but he answered him nothing.

jub@Luke:23:12 @ And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together, for before they were at enmity between themselves.

jub@Luke:23:32 @ And there were also two others, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.

jub@Luke:23:33 @ And when they were come to the place, which is called of the Skull, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

jub@Luke:23:39 @ And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou art the Christ, save thyself and us.

jub@Luke:23:48 @ And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, returned smiting their breasts.

jub@Luke:24:4 @ And it came to pass as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments;

jub@Luke:24:5 @ and as they were afraid and bowed down [their] faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

jub@Luke:24:10 @ It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary [the mother] of James and other [women that were] with them who told these things unto the apostles.

jub@Luke:24:16 @ But their eyes were held fast that they should not know him.

jub@Luke:24:21 @ But we were hoping that it was he who should redeem Israel, and beside all this, today is the third day since these things were done.

jub@Luke:24:22 @ Although also certain women of our company made us astonished, who before daybreak were at the sepulchre;

jub@Luke:24:24 @ And certain of those who were with us went to the sepulchre, and found [it] even so as the women had said; but they did not see him.

jub@Luke:24:31 @ And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

jub@Luke:24:33 @ And they rose up the same hour and returned to Jerusalem and found the eleven gathered together and those that were with them,

jub@Luke:24:35 @ And they told what things [were done] in the way and how he was known to them in the breaking of the bread.

jub@Luke:24:37 @ But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed that they were seeing a spirit.

jub@Luke:24:41 @ And [as they were] not believing him yet for joy and wondering, he said unto them, Have ye here any food?

jub@Luke:24:44 @ And he said unto them, These [are] the words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the law of Moses and [in] the prophets and [in] the psalms, concerning me.

jub@Luke:24:53 @ and were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.:

jub@John:1:3 @ All things were made by him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

jub@John:1:21 @ And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elijah? And he said, I am not. Art thou the prophet? And he answered, No.

jub@John:1:24 @ And those who were sent were of the Pharisees.

jub@John:1:26 @ John answered them, saying, I baptize with water, but there stands one among you, whom ye know not;

jub@John:1:28 @ These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.

jub@John:1:48 @ Nathanael said unto him, From where dost thou know me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.

jub@John:1:49 @ Nathanael answered and said unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

jub@John:1:50 @ Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.

jub@John:2:2 @ and Jesus and his disciples were also called to the marriage.

jub@John:2:6 @ And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.

jub@John:2:18 @ Then the Jews answered and said unto him, What sign showest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?

jub@John:2:19 @ Jesus answered and said unto them, Dissolve this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

jub@John:3:3 @ Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a person be born again, they cannot see the kingdom of God.

jub@John:3:5 @ Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Unless a man is born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

jub@John:3:9 @ Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can this be done?

jub@John:3:10 @ Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a teacher of Israel and knowest not this?

jub@John:3:19 @ And this is the condemnation, that the light is come into the world, and men loved darkness more than the light because their deeds were evil.

jub@John:3:23 @ And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim because there was much water there, and they came and were baptized.

jub@John:3:27 @ John answered and said, A man can receive nothing except it is given him from the heaven.

jub@John:4:8 @ (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy food.)

jub@John:4:10 @ Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink, thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

jub@John:4:13 @ Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinks of this water shall thirst again,

jub@John:4:17 @ The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband;

jub@John:4:40 @ So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they asked him to abide with them; and he abode there two days.

jub@John:5:3 @ In these lay a great multitude of those who were sick, blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.

jub@John:5:7 @ The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man when the water is troubled to put me into the pool, but while I am coming, another steps down before me.

jub@John:5:11 @ He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed and walk.

jub@John:5:17 @ But Jesus answered them, My Father works until now, and I work.

jub@John:5:19 @ Then Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself but what he sees the Father do; for all that he does, this also the Son does together with [him].

jub@John:5:35 @ He was a burning and a shining light, and ye were willing to rejoice for one hour in his light.

jub@John:6:7 @ Philip answered him, Two hundred denarius of bread is not sufficient for them, that each one of them may take a little.

jub@John:6:11 @ And Jesus took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples and the disciples to those that were sitting down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they desired.

jub@John:6:12 @ When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain that nothing be lost.

jub@John:6:13 @ Therefore they gathered [them] together and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over from those that had eaten.

jub@John:6:17 @ and entered into a ship and were crossing the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus had not come to them.

jub@John:6:19 @ So when they had rowed about twenty-five or thirty furlongs, they saw Jesus walking upon the sea and drawing nigh unto the ship, and they were afraid.

jub@John:6:26 @ Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye have seen the signs, but because ye ate of the loaves and were filled.

jub@John:6:29 @ Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe in him whom he has sent.

jub@John:6:43 @ Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.

jub@John:6:64 @ But there are some of you that do not believe. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that did not believe and who should betray him.

jub@John:6:68 @ Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

jub@John:6:70 @ Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

jub@John:7:10 @ But when his brethren were gone up, then he also went up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.

jub@John:7:16 @ Jesus answered them and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

jub@John:7:20 @ The people answered and said, Thou hast a demon; who goes about to kill thee?

jub@John:7:21 @ Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.

jub@John:7:46 @ The officers answered, Never has anyone spoken like this man.

jub@John:7:47 @ Then the Pharisees answered them, Are ye also deceived?

jub@John:7:52 @ They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search and see, for a prophet has never arisen out of Galilee.

jub@John:8:14 @ Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear witness of myself, my witness is true, for I know from where I came and where I go; but ye do not know where I came from and where I go.

jub@John:8:19 @ Then they said unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father; if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.

jub@John:8:33 @ They answered him, We are Abraham's seed, and we have never served anyone; how sayest thou, Ye shall be set free?

jub@John:8:34 @ Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever commits sin is the servant of sin.

jub@John:8:39 @ They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus said unto them, If ye were Abraham's sons, ye would do the works of Abraham.

jub@John:8:42 @ Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would surely love me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither did I come of myself, but he sent me.

jub@John:8:48 @ Then the Jews answered, and said unto him, Do we not say well that thou art a Samaritan and hast a demon?

jub@John:8:49 @ Jesus answered, I do not have a demon; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.

jub@John:8:54 @ Jesus answered, If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing; it is my Father that glorifies me, of whom ye say that he is your God;

jub@John:9:3 @ Jesus answered, Neither has this man sinned nor his parents, but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

jub@John:9:10 @ Then they said unto him, How were thine eyes opened?

jub@John:9:11 @ He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash; and I went and washed, and I received sight.

jub@John:9:20 @ His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son and that he was born blind;

jub@John:9:25 @ He answered and said, Whether he is a sinner [or not], I [do] not know; one thing I know, that having been blind, now I see.

jub@John:9:27 @ He answered them, I have told you already, and ye have heard; what more would ye hear? [Do] ye also desire to be his disciples?

jub@John:9:30 @ The man answered and said unto them, Indeed this is a marvellous thing that ye do not know where he is from, and [yet] he has opened my eyes.

jub@John:9:33 @ If this man were not of God, he could do nothing.

jub@John:9:34 @ They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.

jub@John:9:36 @ He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe in him?

jub@John:9:40 @ And [some] of the Pharisees who were with him heard these words and said unto him, Are we blind also?

jub@John:9:41 @ Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin; but now because ye say, We see, therefore your sin abides.:

jub@John:10:25 @ Jesus answered them, I have told you, and ye do not believe; the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

jub@John:10:32 @ Jesus answered them, Many good works have I showed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

jub@John:10:33 @ The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we do not stone thee, but for blasphemy; and because thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

jub@John:10:34 @ Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

jub@John:10:41 @ And many came unto him and said, John certainly did no sign, but all [the] things that John spoke of this man were true.

jub@John:11:9 @ Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble because he sees the light of this world.

jub@John:11:31 @ Then the Jews who were with her in the house and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goes unto the grave to weep there.

jub@John:11:52 @ and not for that nation only, but that he should also gather together in one the sons of God that were scattered abroad.

jub@John:12:12 @ On the next day the multitude that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

jub@John:12:16 @ His disciples did not understand these things at first, but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written of him and [that] they had done these things unto him.

jub@John:12:20 @ And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast;

jub@John:12:23 @ And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour comes in which the Son of man shall be clarified.

jub@John:12:29 @ The people, therefore, that were present and heard [it], said that it thundered; others said, An angel spoke to him.

jub@John:12:30 @ Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.

jub@John:12:34 @ The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that the Christ abides for ever; and how sayest thou, It is expedient that the Son of man be lifted up? Who is this Son of man?

jub@John:13:1 @ Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

jub@John:13:7 @ Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou dost not understand now, but thou shalt understand afterwards.

jub@John:13:8 @ Peter said unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou shalt have no part with me.

jub@John:13:26 @ Jesus answered, He it is to whom I shall give a sop when I have dipped [it]. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave [it] to Judas Iscariot, [the son] of Simon.

jub@John:13:36 @ Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, where goest thou? Jesus answered him, Where I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.

jub@John:13:38 @ Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy soul for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow until thou hast denied me three times.:

jub@John:14:2 @ In my Father's house are many dwelling places; if [it were] not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

jub@John:14:23 @ Jesus answered and said unto him, He who loves me will keep my words, and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him and make our abode with him.

jub@John:15:19 @ If ye were of the world, the world would love its own; but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

jub@John:16:19 @ Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of what I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me; and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?

jub@John:16:31 @ Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?

jub@John:17:6 @ I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou didst give me out of the world; thine they were, and thou didst give them me; and they have kept thy word.

jub@John:18:5 @ They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus said unto them, I AM. And Judas also, who betrayed him, stood with them.

jub@John:18:8 @ Jesus answered, I have told you that I AM; if, therefore, ye seek me, let these go away,

jub@John:18:20 @ Jesus answered him, I spoke openly to the world; I always taught in the synagogue and in the temple, where all the Jews gather; and I have said nothing in secret.

jub@John:18:22 @ And when he had thus spoken, one of the servants who stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so?

jub@John:18:23 @ Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil, but if well, why dost thou smite me?

jub@John:18:30 @ They answered and said unto him, If he were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered him up unto thee.

jub@John:18:34 @ Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it [unto] thee of me?

jub@John:18:35 @ Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me; what hast thou done?

jub@John:18:36 @ Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world; if my kingdom were of this world, then my servants would fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews; now, therefore, my kingdom is not from here.

jub@John:18:37 @ Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I AM king. To this end I was born, and for this cause I came into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth hears my voice.

jub@John:19:7 @ The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die because he made himself the Son of God.

jub@John:19:11 @ Jesus answered, Thou could have no power [at all] against me, unless it were given thee from above; therefore he that delivered me unto thee has the greater sin.

jub@John:19:15 @ But they cried out, Away with [him], away with [him], crucify him. Pilate said unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The high priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.

jub@John:19:22 @ Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.

jub@John:19:28 @ After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, said, I thirst.

jub@John:19:32 @ Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who were crucified with him.

jub@John:19:36 @ For these things were done that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.

jub@John:20:19 @ Then the same day at evening, being the first of the sabbaths, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst and said unto them, Peace [be] unto you.

jub@John:20:20 @ And having said this, he showed them [his] hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.

jub@John:20:26 @ And again eight days later, his disciples were within and Thomas with them; [then] Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst and said, Peace [be] unto you.

jub@John:20:28 @ And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

jub@John:21:2 @ Simon Peter and Thomas, called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee and the [sons] of Zebedee and two other of his disciples were together.

jub@John:21:5 @ Then Jesus said unto them, Children, have ye any food? They answered him, No.

jub@John:21:6 @ And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right hand side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

jub@John:21:8 @ And the other disciples came in the [little] ship (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits), dragging the net with [the] fishes.

jub@John:21:9 @ As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and a fish laid thereon, and bread.

jub@Acts:1:6 @ Then those that were come together asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

jub@Acts:1:13 @ And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where Peter and James and John and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James [the son] of Alphaeus and Simon Zelotes, and Judas [the brother] of James were.

jub@Acts:1:15 @ And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples and said (the number of names together were about one hundred and twenty),

jub@Acts:2:1 @ And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

jub@Acts:2:2 @ And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

jub@Acts:2:4 @ And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

jub@Acts:2:5 @ (And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.)

jub@Acts:2:6 @ Now at this sound, the multitude came together and were confounded because each one heard them speak in his own tongue.

jub@Acts:2:7 @ And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these who speak Galilaeans?

jub@Acts:2:8 @ And how do we hear each one [speak] in our own tongue, with which we were brought up?

jub@Acts:2:12 @ And they were all amazed and were in doubt, saying one to another, What does this mean?

jub@Acts:2:37 @ Now when they heard [this], they were pricked in their heart and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men [and] brethren, what shall we do?

jub@Acts:2:41 @ So that those who gladly received his word were baptized, and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls.

jub@Acts:2:43 @ And fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

jub@Acts:2:44 @ And all that believed were together and had all things common

jub@Acts:3:10 @ and they knew that it was he who sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

jub@Acts:3:12 @ And when Peter saw [it], he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own virtue or godliness we had made this man walk?

jub@Acts:4:6 @ and Annas, the high priest, and Caiaphas and John and Alexander and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest were gathered together at Jerusalem.

jub@Acts:4:13 @ Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled, and they took knowledge of them that they had been with Jesus.

jub@Acts:4:19 @ Then Peter and John answered and said unto them, Judge whether it is right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God.

jub@Acts:4:26 @ The kings of the earth were present, and the princes were gathered together against the Lord and against his Christ.

jub@Acts:4:27 @ For of a truth against thy holy servant Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together (in this city),

jub@Acts:4:31 @ And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

jub@Acts:4:34 @ Neither was there any among them that lacked, for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them and brought the prices of the things that were sold

jub@Acts:5:8 @ Then Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yes, for so much.

jub@Acts:5:12 @ And by the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were wrought in the people. (And they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.

jub@Acts:5:16 @ There came also a multitude [out] of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks and those who were tormented with unclean spirits, and they were healed every one.

jub@Acts:5:17 @ Then the prince of the priests rose up, and all those that were with him (which is the sect of the Sadducees) were filled with jealousy

jub@Acts:5:21 @ And when they heard [that], they entered into the temple early in the morning and taught. In the meantime, the prince of the priests came, and those that were with him, and called the council together and all the elders of the sons of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

jub@Acts:5:24 @ Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the princes of the priests heard these things, they were perplexed regarding what this would come to.

jub@Acts:5:29 @ Then Peter and the [other] apostles answered and said, We must persuade God rather than men.

jub@Acts:5:33 @ When they heard [that], they were divided and took counsel to slay them.

jub@Acts:5:36 @ For before these days, rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves; who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered and brought to nought.

jub@Acts:5:37 @ After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing and drew away many people after him; he also perished, and all those that consented with him were dispersed.

jub@Acts:5:41 @ And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

jub@Acts:6:1 @ And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplying, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, that their widows were neglected in the daily ministry.

jub@Acts:6:7 @ And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly, and also a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

jub@Acts:6:10 @ And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke.

jub@Acts:7:16 @ who were carried over into Shechem and laid in the sepulchre that Abraham bought for a sum of money from the sons of Hamor of Shechem.

jub@Acts:7:30 @ And when forty years were expired, the angel of the Lord appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sinai, in a flame of fire in a bush.

jub@Acts:7:54 @ When they heard these things, they were divided in their hearts and gnashed on him with [their] teeth.

jub@Acts:8:1 @ And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem, and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.

jub@Acts:8:4 @ But those that were scattered abroad went everywhere preaching the word of the gospel.

jub@Acts:8:7 @ For many unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of those who were possessed [with them], and many paralytics and that were lame were healed.

jub@Acts:8:12 @ But when they believed Philip preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

jub@Acts:8:13 @ Then Simon himself believed also; and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were being done.

jub@Acts:8:14 @ Now when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John unto them,

jub@Acts:8:15 @ who, when they were come down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit.

jub@Acts:8:16 @ (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them; they were baptized only in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

jub@Acts:8:24 @ Then Simon answered and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.

jub@Acts:8:34 @ And the eunuch answered Philip and said, I pray thee, of whom does the prophet speak this? of himself or of some other?

jub@Acts:8:37 @ And Philip said, If thou dost believe with all thine heart, thou may. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

jub@Acts:8:39 @ And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, [so] that the eunuch saw him no more, and he went on his way rejoicing.

jub@Acts:9:2 @ and asked him for letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

jub@Acts:9:13 @ Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, [of] how much evil he has done to thy saints in Jerusalem,

jub@Acts:9:19 @ And when he had received food, he was comforted. Then Saul was certain days with the disciples who were at Damascus.

jub@Acts:9:21 @ But all that heard [him] were amazed and said, Is not this he that destroyed those who called on this name in Jerusalem and came here for that intent that he might bring them bound unto the princes of the priests?

jub@Acts:9:24 @ but their ambushes were understood by Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him.

jub@Acts:9:26 @ And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he tried to join himself to the disciples; but they were all afraid of him and did not believe that he was a disciple.

jub@Acts:9:31 @ Then the churches had rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria and were edified, walking in the fear of the Lord, and with the comfort of the Holy Spirit they were multiplied.

jub@Acts:10:12 @ in which were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth and wild beasts and reptiles and fowls of the air.

jub@Acts:10:17 @ Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men who were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house and stood before the gate

jub@Acts:10:18 @ and called and asked whether Simon, who was surnamed Peter, were lodged there.

jub@Acts:10:21 @ Then Peter went down to the men who were sent unto him from Cornelius and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek; what [is] the cause for which ye are come?

jub@Acts:10:27 @ And as he talked with him, he went in and found many that were come together.

jub@Acts:10:38 @ how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with him.

jub@Acts:10:45 @ And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, that also on the Gentiles the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out.

jub@Acts:10:46 @ For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. Then Peter answered,

jub@Acts:11:1 @ And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.

jub@Acts:11:2 @ When Peter was come up to Jerusalem, those that were of the circumcision contended with him,

jub@Acts:11:9 @ But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God has cleansed, do not call common.

jub@Acts:11:11 @ And, behold, immediately there were three men already come unto the house where I was, sent from Caesarea unto me.

jub@Acts:11:18 @ When they heard these things, they were silent and glorified God, saying, Then God has also granted repentance unto life to the Gentiles.

jub@Acts:11:19 @ Now those who were scattered abroad by the tribulation that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice and Cyprus and Antioch, preaching the word to no one except only unto the Jews.

jub@Acts:11:20 @ And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who, when they came into Antioch, spoke unto the Greeks, preaching the gospel of the Lord Jesus.

jub@Acts:11:24 @ For he was a good man and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith, and many people were added unto the Lord.

jub@Acts:11:26 @ And it came to pass that for a whole year they gathered themselves together with the church and taught many people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

jub@Acts:12:3 @ And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)

jub@Acts:12:10 @ When they were past the first and the second guard, they came unto the iron gate that leads unto the city, which opened to them of its own accord, and they went out and passed on through one street, and then the angel departed from him.

jub@Acts:12:12 @ And considering [this], he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark, where many were gathered together praying.

jub@Acts:12:16 @ But Peter continued knocking, and when they had opened [the door] and saw him, they were astonished.

jub@Acts:12:20 @ And Herod was highly displeased with those of Tyre and Sidon, but they came with one accord to him, and, having bribed Blastus, the king's chamberlain, they asked for peace because their lands were supplied through those of the king's.

jub@Acts:13:1 @ Now there were in the church that was at Antioch prophets and teachers: Barnabas and Simeon that was called Niger and Lucius of Cyrene and Manaen, who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

jub@Acts:13:42 @ And when they were gone out of the synagogue of the Jews, the Gentiles besought that these words might be spoken to them the next sabbath.

jub@Acts:13:45 @ But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy and spoke against that which Paul said, contradicting and blaspheming.

jub@Acts:13:48 @ And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord, and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

jub@Acts:13:52 @ And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.:

jub@Acts:14:6 @ they were aware of [it] and fled unto Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and unto the region that lies round about.

jub@Acts:14:27 @ And when they were come and had gathered the church together, they related what great things God had done with them and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.

jub@Acts:15:4 @ And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received by the church and [by] the apostles and elders, and they declared all the things that God had done with them.

jub@Acts:15:10 @ Now therefore why tempt ye God, putting a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

jub@Acts:15:13 @ And after they had become silent, James answered, saying, Men [and] brethren, hearken unto me:

jub@Acts:15:30 @ So when they were dismissed, they came to Antioch; and when they had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle,

jub@Acts:15:33 @ And after they had tarried [there] a space, they were let go in peace from the brethren unto the apostles.

jub@Acts:16:2 @ of whom the brethren that were at Lystra and Iconium gave [good] witness.

jub@Acts:16:3 @ Paul desired to have him go forth with him and took and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those quarters, for they all knew that his father was a Greek.

jub@Acts:16:4 @ And as they went through the cities, they asked them to keep the decrees that had been determined by the apostles and elders who were at Jerusalem.

jub@Acts:16:5 @ And so the churches were established in the faith and increased in number daily.

jub@Acts:16:6 @ Now passing through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia;

jub@Acts:16:7 @ after they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit suffered them not.

jub@Acts:16:12 @ and from there to Philippi, which is the chief city of that part of Macedonia, [and] a colony; and we were in that city abiding certain days.

jub@Acts:16:14 @ Then a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, who feared God, heard [us], whose heart the Lord opened that she attended unto the things which were spoken by Paul.

jub@Acts:16:26 @ then suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

jub@Acts:16:32 @ And they spoke unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.

jub@Acts:16:38 @ And the sergeants returned and told these words unto the magistrates; and they feared when they heard that they were Romans.

jub@Acts:17:11 @ These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all diligence and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

jub@Acts:17:12 @ Therefore many of them believed, also of honourable women who were Greeks and of men, not a few.

jub@Acts:17:21 @ (For all the Athenians and strangers who were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell or to hear some new thing.)

jub@Acts:18:3 @ And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them and worked, for by their occupation they were tentmakers.

jub@Acts:18:5 @ And when Silas and Timothy were come from Macedonia, Paul was impressed by the Spirit and testified to the Jews [that] Jesus [was] the Christ.

jub@Acts:18:8 @ And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians, hearing, believed and were baptized.

jub@Acts:18:14 @ And when Paul was now about to open [his] mouth, Gallio said unto the Jews, If it were a matter of wrong or wicked lewdness, O [ye] Jews, reason would that I should bear with you;

jub@Acts:19:3 @ And he said unto them, Into what then were ye baptized? And they said, Into John's baptism.

jub@Acts:19:5 @ When they heard [this], they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.

jub@Acts:19:7 @ And all the men were about twelve.

jub@Acts:19:9 @ But when some were hardened and disobedient, but cursing the way before the multitude, he departed from them and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.

jub@Acts:19:12 @ so that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

jub@Acts:19:14 @ (And there were seven sons of [one] Sceva, a Jew [and] prince of the priests, who did so.)

jub@Acts:19:15 @ And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I am acquainted with, but who are ye?

jub@Acts:19:21 @ After these things were ended, Paul purposed by [the] Spirit to go to Jerusalem, after he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, saying, After I have been there, it behooves me to see Rome also.

jub@Acts:19:28 @ And when they heard [these sayings], they were full of wrath and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.

jub@Acts:19:31 @ And certain of the chief [persons] of Asia, who were his friends, sent unto him, asking [him] that he not present himself in the theatre.

jub@Acts:19:32 @ Some therefore cried one thing, and some another, for the assembly was confused; and most of them did not know why they were come together.

jub@Acts:20:8 @ And there were many lamps in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together.

jub@Acts:20:12 @ And they took the young man [home] alive and were greatly comforted.

jub@Acts:20:16 @ For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, not to detain himself in Asia, for he hasted to keep the day of Pentecost, if it were possible for him, in Jerusalem.

jub@Acts:20:18 @ And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,

jub@Acts:20:34 @ Moreover, ye yourselves know that these hands have ministered unto my necessities and to those that were with me.

jub@Acts:21:5 @ And when we had accomplished those days, we departed; and they all brought us on our way, with wives and children, until [we were] out of the city; and we knelt down on the shore and prayed.

jub@Acts:21:8 @ And the next [day] Paul and those of us that were with him departed and came unto Caesarea; and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, who was [one] of the seven, and abode with him.

jub@Acts:21:13 @ Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

jub@Acts:21:18 @ And the [day] following, Paul went in with us to [see] James, and all the elders were gathered.

jub@Acts:21:24 @ them take, and purify thyself with them, and pay their expenses, that they may shave [their] heads, and all may know that those things, of which they were informed concerning thee, are nothing, but [that] thou thyself dost also walk orderly and keep the law.

jub@Acts:21:27 @ And when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews, who were of Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people and laid hands on him,

jub@Acts:21:30 @ So that all the city was moved, and the people ran together; and they took Paul and drew him out of the temple, and immediately the doors were shut.

jub@Acts:21:38 @ Art not thou that Egyptian, who before these days made an uproar and led four thousand men out into the wilderness that were murderers?

jub@Acts:22:5 @ As also the prince of the priests bears me witness, and all the estate of the elders, from whom also I received letters unto the brethren, and went to Damascus to bring those who were bound there unto Jerusalem to be punished.

jub@Acts:22:8 @ And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I Am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou dost persecute.

jub@Acts:22:9 @ And those that were with me saw indeed the light and were afraid, but they did not hear the voice of him that spoke to me.

jub@Acts:22:11 @ And when I could not see for the clarity of that light, being led by the hand of those that were with me, I came into Damascus.

jub@Acts:22:28 @ And the tribunal answered, With a great sum I obtained this freedom. And Paul said, But I was [free] born.

jub@Acts:23:6 @ But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men [and] brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee, and of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.

jub@Acts:23:9 @ And there arose a great cry; and the scribes [that were] of the Pharisees' part arose and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man, but if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him, let us not fight against God.

jub@Acts:23:13 @ And they were more than forty who had made this conspiracy.

jub@Acts:24:9 @ And the Jews also assented, saying that these things were so.

jub@Acts:24:10 @ Then Paul, after the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself;

jub@Acts:24:25 @ And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled and answered, Go away for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.

jub@Acts:25:4 @ But Festus answered that Paul should be kept at Caesarea and that he himself would depart shortly [there].

jub@Acts:25:8 @ While he answered for himself, Neither against the law of the Jews, neither against the temple, nor yet against Caesar have I sinned [in] anything at all.

jub@Acts:25:9 @ But Festus, willing to ingratiate himself with the Jews, answered Paul and said, Wilt thou go up to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these things before me?

jub@Acts:25:12 @ Then Festus, when he had conferred with the council, answered, Hast thou appealed unto Caesar? unto Caesar shalt thou go.

jub@Acts:25:16 @ To whom I answered, It is not the manner of the Romans to deliver any man to die, before the one who is accused is face to face with his accusers and is given license to answer for himself concerning the crime laid against him.

jub@Acts:25:17 @ Therefore, when they were come here, without any delay on the next day I sat on the judgement seat and commanded the man to be brought forth.

jub@Acts:26:1 @ Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Thou art permitted to speak for thyself. Then Paul stretched forth the hand and answered for himself:

jub@Acts:26:10 @ Which things I also did in Jerusalem, and I shut up many of the saints in prison, having received authority from the princes of the priests, and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against [them].

jub@Acts:26:14 @ And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why dost thou persecute me? [It is] hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

jub@Acts:26:24 @ And as he spoke these things and [answered] for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad.

jub@Acts:26:29 @ And Paul said, I desire before God that by little or by much, not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were such as I am, except these bonds.

jub@Acts:26:31 @ and when they were gone aside, they talked between themselves, saying, This man does nothing worthy of death or of bonds.

jub@Acts:27:4 @ And when we had launched from there, we sailed under Cyprus because the winds were contrary.

jub@Acts:27:7 @ And when we had sailed slowly many days and scarce were come over against Cnidus, the wind not allowing us, we sailed under Crete, over against Salmone,

jub@Acts:27:11 @ Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship more than those things which were spoken by Paul.

jub@Acts:27:12 @ And because the haven was not commodious to winter in, many were in agreement to depart from there also, if by any means they might attain to Phenice [and] winter [there, which is] a port of Crete and lies toward Africa and the west.

jub@Acts:27:17 @ Which when they had taken up, they used helps, undergirding the ship; and, fearing lest they should fall into Syrtis, struck sail and so were driven.

jub@Acts:27:27 @ And when the fourteenth night was come as we were driven up and down in the Adriatic sea, about midnight the shipmen deemed that they drew near to some country

jub@Acts:27:30 @ And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship,

jub@Acts:27:36 @ Then they were all of good cheer, and they also took [some] food.

jub@Acts:27:37 @ And we were in all, in the ship, two hundred and seventy-six souls.

jub@Acts:27:39 @ And when it was day, they did not recognize the land, but they discovered a certain gulf with a shore, into which they decided, if it were possible, to thrust in the ship.

jub@Acts:27:44 @ and the rest, some on boards and some on [broken pieces] of the ship. And so it came to pass that they were all saved [by making it] to land.:

jub@Acts:28:1 @ And when they were escaped, then we knew that the island was called Melita.

jub@Acts:28:6 @ But they were waiting to see when he should have swollen or fallen down dead suddenly; but after they had waited a great while and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds and said that he was a god.

jub@Acts:28:7 @ In the same quarters were possessions of a principal man of the island, whose name was Publius, who received us and lodged us three days courteously.

jub@Acts:28:9 @ So when this was done, others also, who had diseases in the island, came and were healed,

jub@Acts:28:10 @ who also honoured us with many gifts; and when we departed, they laded [us] with such things as were necessary.

jub@Acts:28:17 @ And it came to pass, that after three days Paul called the principals of the Jews together, and when they were come together, he said unto them, Men [and] brethren, though I have committed nothing against the people or customs of our fathers, yet was I delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans,

jub@Acts:28:24 @ And some believed the things which were spoken, and some did not believe.

jub@Romans:1:21 @ because having known God, they did not glorify [him] as God, neither were thankful, but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

jub@Romans:4:2 @ For if Abraham were justified by works, he has [reason] to glory [in himself], but not before God.

jub@Romans:5:6 @ For the Christ, when we were yet weak, in his time died for the ungodly.

jub@Romans:5:8 @ But God increased the price of his charity toward us in that while we were yet sinners the Christ died for us.

jub@Romans:5:10 @ For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled with God by the death of his Son, much more, [now] reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

jub@Romans:5:19 @ For as by one man's disobedience, many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

jub@Romans:6:17 @ Thank God that, although ye were the servants of sin, ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine unto which ye are delivered;

jub@Romans:7:5 @ For while we were in the flesh, the affections of the sins which were by the law worked in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

jub@Romans:7:6 @ But now we are free from the law of death in which we were held, that we might serve in newness of Spirit, and not [in] the oldness of the letter.

jub@Romans:7:8 @ Then sin, when there was occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of lust. For without the law sin was as if it were dormant.

jub@Romans:8:20 @ For the creatures were subjected to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who has subjected them,

jub@Romans:9:3 @ For I could wish that myself were anathema from Christ for my brethren, those who are my kinsmen according to the flesh,

jub@Romans:9:25 @ As he saith also in Hosea, I will call them my people, who were not my people, and her beloved, who was not beloved.

jub@Romans:9:32 @ Why? Because [they followed it] not by faith but, as it were, by the works (of the law); therefore, they stumbled on the stumblingstone;

jub@Romans:11:7 @ What then? Israel has not obtained that which he seeks after; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded

jub@Romans:11:17 @ And if some of the branches were broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them and hath been made participant of the root and of the fatness of the olive tree,

jub@Romans:11:19 @ Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.

jub@Romans:11:20 @ Good; because of [their] unbelief they were broken off, but thou by faith art standing. Do not be highminded, but fear

jub@Romans:11:26 @ And even if all Israel were saved, as it is written: There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall take away the ungodliness from Jacob;

jub@Romans:15:4 @ For the things that were written beforehand were written for our instruction that we, through patient [endurance] and through the comfort of the scriptures, might have hope.

jub@Romans:16:7 @ Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen [and my fellowprisoners], who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.

jub@1Corinthians:1:9 @ God [is] faithful, by whom ye were called into the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

jub@1Corinthians:1:13 @ Is the Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized into the name of Paul?

jub@1Corinthians:1:15 @ lest any should say that [ye were] baptized into my name.

jub@1Corinthians:3:2 @ I have fed you with milk, and not with [solid] food, for until now ye were not able [to bear it], neither yet now are ye able.

jub@1Corinthians:4:9 @ For I think that God has set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death; for we are made a spectacle unto the world and to angels and to men.

jub@1Corinthians:5:3 @ For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, him that has so done this deed.

jub@1Corinthians:6:11 @ And such were some of you, but [now] ye are washed, but [now] ye are sanctified, but [now] ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and in the Spirit of our God.

jub@1Corinthians:7:7 @ For I would that all men were even as I myself. But each one has his own gift from God, one after this manner and another after that.

jub@1Corinthians:9:15 @ But I have used none of these things, neither have I written these things that it should be so done unto me; for [it were] better for me to die than that anyone should make this my glory void.

jub@1Corinthians:10:1 @ Moreover, brothers, I would that ye not ignore how our fathers were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea

jub@1Corinthians:10:2 @ and were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea

jub@1Corinthians:10:5 @ But with many of them God was not pleased; therefore, they were overthrown in the wilderness.

jub@1Corinthians:10:7 @ Neither be ye idolaters, as [were] some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to play.

jub@1Corinthians:11:5 @ But every woman that prays or prophesies with [her] head uncovered dishonours her head, for that is even the same as if she were shaven.

jub@1Corinthians:12:2 @ Ye know that when ye were Gentiles, ye went, even as ye were led, unto the dumb idols.

jub@1Corinthians:12:17 @ If the whole body [were] an eye, where [would] the hearing [be]? If the whole [were] hearing, where [would] the smelling [be]?

jub@1Corinthians:12:19 @ And if they were all one member, where [would] the body [be]?

jub@1Corinthians:15:11 @ Therefore, whether [it were] I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.

jub@2Corinthians:1:8 @ Because, brothers, we would not have you ignore our tribulation which was done unto us in Asia, that we were burdened beyond our strength, in such a manner that we despaired even of life:

jub@2Corinthians:5:1 @ For we know that if the earthly house of this our habitation were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

jub@2Corinthians:7:5 @ For, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without [were] fightings, within [were] fears.

jub@2Corinthians:7:8 @ For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent; for I perceive that the same epistle has made you sorry, though [it were] but for a season.

jub@2Corinthians:7:9 @ Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance; for ye were made sorry by God that ye might suffer no loss by us.

jub@2Corinthians:7:11 @ For behold this same thing, that [when] ye were made sorry by God, what carefulness it wrought in you, [what] clearing of yourselves, [what] indignation, [what] fear, [what] vehement desire, [what] zeal, [what] vindication! In all [things] ye have shown yourselves to be clean in this matter.

jub@2Corinthians:7:13 @ Therefore we were comforted in your comfort; yea, and we rejoiced even more exceedingly for the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all.

jub@2Corinthians:8:3 @ For to [their] power, I bear record, and even beyond [their] power [they were] willing of themselves,

jub@2Corinthians:11:17 @ That which I speak, I speak [it] not according to the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of glory.

jub@2Corinthians:12:12 @ Truly the signs of the apostle were worked out among you in all patience, in signs and wonders and power.

jub@2Corinthians:12:13 @ For what is it in which ye were inferior to the other churches except in that I myself was not burdensome to you? forgive me this wrong.

jub@2Corinthians:13:2 @ I told you before and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now, I write to those who until now have sinned and to all others that, if I come again, I will not spare,

jub@Galatians:1:8 @ But [even] if we, or an angel from heaven, were to preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be anathema.

jub@Galatians:1:17 @ neither did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went into Arabia and returned again unto Damascus.

jub@Galatians:1:22 @ and was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ,

jub@Galatians:2:6 @ But of these who seemed to be of repute, (whatever they were, it makes no matter to me: God does not accept the appearance of men), for those who seemed [to be of repute] in conference added nothing to me;

jub@Galatians:2:12 @ For before certain ones came from James, he ate with the Gentiles, but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing those who were of the circumcision.

jub@Galatians:3:16 @ Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He did not say, And to seeds, as of many, but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

jub@Galatians:3:23 @ But before faith came, we were under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

jub@Galatians:4:3 @ Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world,

jub@Galatians:4:5 @ to redeem those that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

jub@Ephesians:1:13 @ In whom ye also [trusted], hearing the word of truth, the gospel of your saving health; in whom also after ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of the promise,

jub@Ephesians:2:1 @ And [he has made] you [alive], who were dead in trespasses and sins,

jub@Ephesians:2:3 @ among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind and were by nature the children of wrath, even as [all] the others.

jub@Ephesians:2:5 @ even as we were dead in sins, he has made us alive together with the Christ (by [whose] grace ye are saved)

jub@Ephesians:2:11 @ Therefore remember that ye [being] in time past Gentiles in [the] flesh, who were called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in [the] flesh, which is made by hands,

jub@Ephesians:2:12 @ that at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world,

jub@Ephesians:2:13 @ but now in Christ Jesus ye who at another time were far off are made near by the blood of the Christ.

jub@Ephesians:2:17 @ and he came and preached peace unto you who [were] afar off and to those that [were] near.

jub@Ephesians:5:8 @ For in another time ye were darkness, but now [ye are] light in the Lord: walk as children of light;

jub@Philippians:3:7 @ But those things which were gain to me, I counted loss for Christ.

jub@Philippians:3:12 @ Not as though I had already attained [it], either were already perfect, but I follow after, if I may lay hold of that for which I have also been laid hold of by the Christ, Jesus.

jub@Philippians:4:10 @ But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me has flourished again, in which ye were also concerned, but ye lacked opportunity.

jub@Philippians:4:18 @ But I have all and abound; I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things [which were sent] from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

jub@Colossians:1:16 @ for by him were all things created, that [are] in the heavens and that [are] in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they are] thrones or dominions or principalities or powers: all things were created by him and in him;

jub@Colossians:1:21 @ And you, that were in another time alienated and enemies in [your] mind by wicked works, yet now he has reconciled [you]

jub@1Thessalonians:1:5 @ For our gospel did not come unto you in word only, but also in power and in [the] Holy Spirit and in full assurance as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

jub@1Thessalonians:1:6 @ And ye were made imitators of us and of the Lord, having received the word with much tribulation, with joy of the Holy Spirit:

jub@1Thessalonians:1:9 @ For they themselves tell of us what an entrance we had unto you and in what manner ye were converted to God from idols to serve the living and true God

jub@1Thessalonians:2:2 @ but having suffered before and having been shamefully treated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to announce unto you the gospel of God with much diligence.

jub@1Thessalonians:2:5 @ For we were never flatterers in the word, as ye know, nor tainted with covetousness, God [is] witness,

jub@1Thessalonians:2:7 @ But we were gentle among you, as a mother feeding and caring for her children,

jub@1Thessalonians:2:8 @ loving you so much, that we were willing to give unto you, not only the gospel of God, but even our own souls, because ye are dear unto us.

jub@1Thessalonians:3:4 @ For even when we were with you, we told you in advance that we must pass through tribulations, even as it has come to pass, and ye know.

jub@1Thessalonians:3:7 @ Therefore, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our tribulation and need by your faith;

jub@1Thessalonians:4:1 @ It is in order then, brethren, that we beseech and exhort [you] in the Lord Jesus, that in the manner ye were taught of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, [so] ye would continue to grow.

jub@2Thessalonians:3:10 @ For even when we were with you, this we declared unto you, that if anyone desires not to work neither should he eat.

jub@Titus:3:3 @ For we ourselves also were foolish in another time, rebellious, deceived, serving diverse lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, [and] hating one another.

jub@Philemon:1:14 @ but I did not want to do anything without thy counsel, that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.

jub@Hebrews:2:15 @ and deliver those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

jub@Hebrews:3:5 @ And Moses verily [was] faithful over all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after,

jub@Hebrews:4:3 @ (For we who have believed do enter into the rest) as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, they shall not enter into my rest although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

jub@Hebrews:6:4 @ For [it is] impossible that those who once received the light and tasted of that heavenly gift and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit

jub@Hebrews:7:11 @ If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need [was there] that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec and not be called after the order of Aaron?

jub@Hebrews:7:21 @ (for the others indeed without an oath were made priests, but this one with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord swore and will not repent, Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec);

jub@Hebrews:7:23 @ And the others, truly, were many priests because they were not able to continue by reason of death:

jub@Hebrews:8:4 @ For if he were on earth, he should not even be a priest, being present still the other priests that offer gifts according to the law,

jub@Hebrews:9:6 @ Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service [of God].

jub@Hebrews:9:9 @ Which [was] a figure of that time present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience,

jub@Hebrews:10:33 @ on the one hand ye were made a spectacle both by reproaches and tribulations, and on the other ye became companions of those that were so used.

jub@Hebrews:11:3 @ Through faith we understand that the ages were framed by the word of God, that which is seen being made of that which was not seen.

jub@Hebrews:11:13 @ These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but seeing them afar off and believing [them] and embracing [them] and confessing that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

jub@Hebrews:11:23 @ By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months by his parents because they saw [he was] a beautiful child, and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.

jub@Hebrews:11:29 @ By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry [land], which the Egyptians attempted to do [and] were drowned.

jub@Hebrews:11:30 @ By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were compassed about seven days.

jub@Hebrews:11:34 @ quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, recovered from infirmities, were made valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of foreign [enemies];

jub@Hebrews:11:35 @ women received their dead raised to life again, and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance that they might obtain a better resurrection;

jub@Hebrews:11:37 @ they were stoned; they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword; they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; poor, afflicted, mistreated,

jub@Hebrews:13:2 @ Do not forget to show hospitality; for thereby some, having entertained angels, were kept.

jub@1Peter:1:11 @ searching when and in what point of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, which announced beforehand the afflictions that were to come upon the Christ, and the glory that should follow them.

jub@1Peter:2:8 @ and a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense, [even to those] who stumble at the word, not obeying in that for which they were ordained.

jub@1Peter:2:10 @ Ye who in the time past [were] not a people, but [are] now the people of God, who in the time past had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

jub@1Peter:2:21 @ Because for this were ye called: for the Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps

jub@1Peter:2:24 @ he himself bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness; by whose wound ye were healed.

jub@1Peter:2:25 @ For ye were as sheep that had gone astray, but are now converted unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.:

jub@1Peter:3:20 @ which in the time past were disobedient, when once the patience of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was [being] made ready, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

jub@2Peter:1:18 @ And we heard this voice which came from heaven, when we were together with him in the holy mount.

jub@2Peter:2:1 @ But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who covertly shall bring in destructive sects and shall deny the Lord that bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.

jub@2Peter:2:18 @ For speaking arrogant words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, [through much] wantonness, those that were clean escaped from those who converse in error,

jub@2Peter:3:2 @ that ye keep in memory the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets and of our commandment, that we are apostles of the Lord and Saviour,

jub@2Peter:3:4 @ and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? For since the day in which the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of the creation.

jub@2Peter:3:5 @ Of course, they willingly ignore that the heavens were [created] of old and the earth standing out of the water and in the water, by the word of God;

jub@1John:2:19 @ They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would [no doubt] have continued with us; but [this happened] that it might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

jub@1John:3:12 @ Not as Cain, [who] was of the wicked one and killed his brother. And why did he kill him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

jub@Jude:1:7 @ Even as Sodom and Gomorrha and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication and going after strange flesh, were set forth for an example, having received the judgment of eternal fire.

jub@Jude:1:17 @ But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,
