gltv@Joshua:23:5 @ And Jehovah your God will thrust them out from before you, and will expel them from before you, and you shall possess their land, as Jehovah your God has spoken to you.

gltv@Joshua:23:6 @ And you shall be very strong to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, so as not to turn aside from it to the right or to the left;

gltv@Joshua:23:7 @ so as not to go in among these nations, these who are left with you; and that you do not make mention of the name of their gods, nor shall you swear, nor shall you serve them, nor shall you bow yourselves to them.

gltv@Joshua:23:8 @ But you shall cling to Jehovah your God, as you have done until today.

gltv@Joshua:23:9 @ And Jehovah has expelled from before you great and mighty nations. As for you no one has stood before you until today.

gltv@Joshua:23:10 @ One man of you shall pursue a thousand; for Jehovah your God is He who is fighting for you, as He has spoken to you.

gltv@Joshua:23:11 @ And you shall be very watchful for yourselves to love Jehovah your God.

gltv@Joshua:23:12 @ But if you at all turn away and cleave to the remnant of the nations, of those who are left to you, and intermarry with them, and go in to them, and they to you,

gltv@Joshua:23:13 @ know certainly that Jehovah your God shall not continue to expel these nations from before you, and they shall be snares and traps to you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until you perish from this good land which Jehovah your God has given you.

Today I am going in the way of all the earth, and you know with all your heart and with all your soul that there has not failed one thing of all the good things which Jehovah your God has spoken concerning you; all of it has come to you; there has not one thing failed of it.

gltv@Joshua:23:15 @ And it shall be, as every good thing which Jehovah your God has spoken to you comes to you, so shall Jehovah bring on you every evil thing, until He destroys you from off this good land which Jehovah your God has given to you,

gltv@Joshua:23:16 @ when you transgress the covenant of Jehovah your God which He commanded you, and when you have gone and served other gods, and have bowed yourselves to them, then the anger of Jehovah shall glow against you; and you shall perish quickly from off the good land which He has given to you.

gltv@1Samuel:23:4 @ And David once again inquired of Jehovah. And Jehovah answered him and said, Rise up, go down to Keilah, for I have given the Philistines into your hand.

gltv@1Samuel:23:5 @ And David and his men went to Keilah, and fought with the Philistines, and led away their livestock, and killed among them with a great blow. And David saved the inhabitants of Keilah.

gltv@1Samuel:23:6 @ And it happened, when Abiathar the son of Ahimelech fled to David, near Keilah, an ephod came in his hand.

gltv@1Samuel:23:7 @ And it was told to Saul that David had come to Keilah. And Saul said, God has estranged him into my hand. For he is shut in, to enter into a city of gates and a bar.

gltv@1Samuel:23:9 @ But David knew that Saul was devising evil against him. And he said to Abiathar the priest, Bring the ephod near.

gltv@1Samuel:23:10 @ And David said, O Jehovah the God of Israel, Your servant has surely heard that Saul seeks to come to Keilah to destroy the city because of me.

gltv@1Samuel:23:11 @ Will the masters of Keilah shut me up into his hand? Will Saul come down as Your servant has heard? I pray You, Jehovah the God of Israel, tell your servant. And Jehovah said, He will come down.

gltv@1Samuel:23:12 @ And David said, Will the masters of Keilah shut me and my men up into Saul's hand? And Jehovah said, They will shut you up.

gltv@1Samuel:23:13 @ And David and his men, about six hundred men, rose up and left Keilah, and went wherever they could go. And it was told to Saul that David had escaped from Keilah. And he ceased to go out.

gltv@1Samuel:23:14 @ And David stayed in the wilderness, in the strongholds. And he stayed in the hill, in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him all his days. And God did not give him into his hand.

gltv@1Samuel:23:16 @ And Jonathan the son of Saul rose up and went out to David, to the forest. And he made his hand strong in God,

gltv@1Samuel:23:20 @ And now, come down according to all the desires of your soul, O king. Come down, and our duty is to deliver him up into the king's hand.

gltv@1Samuel:23:22 @ Please go, make yet more sure, and know, and see his place where his foot is; who has seen him there, for one has said to me, He is very subtle.

gltv@1Samuel:23:26 @ And Saul went on this side of the mountain, and David and his men on that side of the mountain. And David was hurrying to go away from the face of Saul. And Saul and his men were encircling David and his men, to catch them.

gltv@2Samuel:23:8 @ These are the names of the mighty ones who were called to David: Josheb-basshebeth the Tachmonite, chief of the three. He was called Adino the Eznite, because of the eight hundred he killed at one time.

gltv@2Samuel:23:9 @ And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo, the son of Ahohite. He was of the three mighty men with David when they taunted the Philistines, when they were gathered there to battle; and the men of Israel went up;

gltv@2Samuel:23:17 @ and said, Far be it from me, O Jehovah, to do this; is it not the blood of the men who went with their lives? And he was not willing to drink it. The three mighty ones did these things.

gltv@2Samuel:23:18 @ And Abishai the son of Zeruiah, the brother of Joab, was the commander of three. And he raised up his spear against three hundred, and killed them. And he had the name among the three.

gltv@2Samuel:23:19 @ Surely he was honored more than the three? And he was the commander to them, but he did not come to the first three.

gltv@2Samuel:23:20 @ And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada from Kabzeel, a son of a mighty man, great in deeds; he killed two lionlike men of Moab. And he went down and killed a lion in the middle of a pit in a day of snow.
