Exodus:17:14 @ And the LORD said to Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.
akjv@Exodus:17:15 @ And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi:
akjv@Exodus:17:16 @ For he said, Because the LORD has sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.
akjv@Exodus:18:1 @ When Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses'father in law, heard of all that God had done for Moses, and for Israel his people, and that the LORD had brought Israel out of Egypt;
akjv@Exodus:18:2 @ Then Jethro, Moses'father in law, took Zipporah, Moses'wife, after he had sent her back,
akjv@Exodus:18:3 @ And her two sons; of which the name of the one was Gershom; for he said, I have been an alien in a strange land:
akjv@Exodus:18:4 @ And the name of the other was Eliezer; for the God of my father, said he, was my help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh:
akjv@Exodus:18:5 @ And Jethro, Moses'father in law, came with his sons and his wife to Moses into the wilderness, where he encamped at the mount of God:
akjv@Exodus:18:6 @ And he said to Moses, I your father in law Jethro am come to you, and your wife, and her two sons with her.
akjv@Exodus:18:7 @ And Moses went out to meet his father in law, and did obeisance, and kissed him; and they asked each other of their welfare; and they came into the tent.
akjv@Exodus:18:8 @ And Moses told his father in law all that the LORD had done to Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel' sake, and all the travail that had come on them by the way, and how the LORD delivered them.
akjv@Exodus:18:9 @ And Jethro rejoiced for all the goodness which the LORD had done to Israel, whom he had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians.
akjv@Exodus:18:10 @ And Jethro said, Blessed be the LORD, who has delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of Pharaoh, who has delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians.
akjv@Exodus:18:11 @ Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly he was above them.
akjv@Exodus:18:12 @ And Jethro, Moses'father in law, took a burnt offering and sacrifices for God: and Aaron came, and all the elders of Israel, to eat bread with Moses'father in law before God.
akjv@Exodus:18:13 @ And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to judge the people: and the people stood by Moses from the morning to the evening.
akjv@Exodus:18:14 @ And when Moses'father in law saw all that he did to the people, he said, What is this thing that you do to the people? why sit you yourself alone, and all the people stand by you from morning to even?
akjv@Exodus:18:15 @ And Moses said to his father in law, Because the people come to me to inquire of God:
akjv@Exodus:18:16 @ When they have a matter, they come to me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws.
akjv@Exodus:18:17 @ And Moses'father in law said to him, The thing that you do is not good.
akjv@Exodus:18:18 @ You will surely wear away, both you, and this people that is with you: for this thing is too heavy for you; you are not able to perform it yourself alone.
akjv@Exodus:18:19 @ Listen now to my voice, I will give you counsel, and God shall be with you: Be you for the people to God-ward, that you may bring the causes to God:
akjv@Exodus:18:20 @ And you shall teach them ordinances and laws, and shall show them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.
akjv@Exodus:18:21 @ Moreover you shall provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:
akjv@Exodus:18:22 @ And let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring to you, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for yourself, and they shall bear the burden with you.
akjv@Exodus:18:23 @ If you shall do this thing, and God command you so, then you shall be able to endure, and all this people shall also go to their place in peace.
akjv@Exodus:18:24 @ So Moses listened to the voice of his father in law, and did all that he had said.
akjv@Exodus:18:25 @ And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.
akjv@Exodus:18:26 @ And they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought to Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves.
akjv@Exodus:18:27 @ And Moses let his father in law depart; and he went his way into his own land.
akjv@Exodus:19:1 @ In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.
akjv@Exodus:19:2 @ For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.
akjv@Exodus:19:3 @ And Moses went up to God, and the LORD called to him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shall you say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;
akjv@Exodus:19:4 @ You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles'wings, and brought you to myself.
akjv@Exodus:19:5 @ Now therefore, if you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure to me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
akjv@Exodus:19:6 @ And you shall be to me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.
akjv@Exodus:19:7 @ And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him.
akjv@Exodus:19:8 @ And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD has spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people to the LORD.
akjv@Exodus:19:9 @ And the LORD said to Moses, See, I come to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you for ever. And Moses told the words of the people to the LORD.
akjv@Exodus:19:10 @ And the LORD said to Moses, Go to the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,
akjv@Exodus:19:11 @ And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people on mount Sinai.
akjv@Exodus:19:12 @ And you shall set bounds to the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that you go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whoever touches the mount shall be surely put to death:
akjv@Exodus:19:13 @ There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet sounds long, they shall come up to the mount.
akjv@Exodus:19:14 @ And Moses went down from the mount to the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.
akjv@Exodus:19:15 @ And he said to the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives.
akjv@Exodus:19:16 @ And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightning, and a thick cloud on the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.
akjv@Exodus:19:17 @ And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.
akjv@Exodus:19:18 @ And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended on it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.
akjv@Exodus:19:19 @ And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice.
akjv@Exodus:19:20 @ And the LORD came down on mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.
akjv@Exodus:19:21 @ And the LORD said to Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through to the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.
akjv@Exodus:19:22 @ And let the priests also, which come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth on them.
akjv@Exodus:19:23 @ And Moses said to the LORD, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for you charged us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.
akjv@Exodus:19:24 @ And the LORD said to him, Away, get you down, and you shall come up, you, and Aaron with you: but let not the priests and the people break through to come up to the LORD, lest he break forth on them.
akjv@Exodus:19:25 @ So Moses went down to the people, and spoke to them.
akjv@Exodus:20:1 @ And God spoke all these words, saying,
akjv@Exodus:20:2 @ I am the LORD your God, which have brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
akjv@Exodus:20:3 @ You shall have no other gods before me.
akjv@Exodus:20:4 @ You shall not make to you any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
akjv@Exodus:20:5 @ You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
akjv@Exodus:20:6 @ And showing mercy to thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
akjv@Exodus:20:7 @ You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that takes his name in vain.
akjv@Exodus:20:8 @ Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
akjv@Exodus:20:9 @ Six days shall you labor, and do all your work:
akjv@Exodus:20:10 @ But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD your God: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates:
akjv@Exodus:20:11 @ For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: why the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
akjv@Exodus:20:12 @ Honor your father and your mother: that your days may be long on the land which the LORD your God gives you.
akjv@Exodus:20:13 @ You shall not kill.
akjv@Exodus:20:14 @ You shall not commit adultery.
akjv@Exodus:20:15 @ You shall not steal.
akjv@Exodus:20:16 @ You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
akjv@Exodus:20:17 @ You shall not covet your neighbor' house, you shall not covet your neighbor' wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is your neighbor'.
akjv@Exodus:20:18 @ And all the people saw the thunder, and the lightning, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off.
akjv@Exodus:20:19 @ And they said to Moses, Speak you with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.
akjv@Exodus:20:20 @ And Moses said to the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that you sin not.
akjv@Exodus:20:21 @ And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near to the thick darkness where God was.
akjv@Exodus:20:22 @ And the LORD said to Moses, Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, You have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.
akjv@Exodus:20:23 @ You shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall you make to you gods of gold.
akjv@Exodus:20:24 @ An altar of earth you shall make to me, and shall sacrifice thereon your burnt offerings, and your peace offerings, your sheep, and your oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come to you, and I will bless you.
akjv@Exodus:20:25 @ And if you will make me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of hewn stone: for if you lift up your tool on it, you have polluted it.
akjv@Exodus:20:26 @ Neither shall you go up by steps to my altar, that your nakedness be not discovered thereon.
akjv@Exodus:21:1 @ Now these are the judgments which you shall set before them.
akjv@Exodus:21:2 @ If you buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.
akjv@Exodus:21:3 @ If he came in by himself, he shall go out by himself: if he were married, then his wife shall go out with him.
akjv@Exodus:21:4 @ If his master have given him a wife, and she have born him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her master', and he shall go out by himself.
akjv@Exodus:21:5 @ And if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free:
akjv@Exodus:21:6 @ Then his master shall bring him to the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or to the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl; and he shall serve him for ever.
akjv@Exodus:21:7 @ And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do.
akjv@Exodus:21:8 @ If she please not her master, who has betrothed her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her to a strange nation he shall have no power, seeing he has dealt deceitfully with her.
akjv@Exodus:21:9 @ And if he have betrothed her to his son, he shall deal with her after the manner of daughters.
akjv@Exodus:21:10 @ If he take him another wife; her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish.
akjv@Exodus:21:11 @ And if he do not these three to her, then shall she go out free without money.
akjv@Exodus:21:12 @ He that smites a man, so that he die, shall be surely put to death.
akjv@Exodus:21:13 @ And if a man lie not in wait, but God deliver him into his hand; then I will appoint you a place where he shall flee.
akjv@Exodus:21:14 @ But if a man come presumptuously on his neighbor, to slay him with guile; you shall take him from my altar, that he may die.
akjv@Exodus:21:15 @ And he that smites his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death.
akjv@Exodus:21:16 @ And he that steals a man, and sells him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.
akjv@Exodus:21:17 @ And he that curses his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death.
akjv@Exodus:21:18 @ And if men strive together, and one smite another with a stone, or with his fist, and he die not, but keeps his bed:
akjv@Exodus:21:19 @ If he rise again, and walk abroad on his staff, then shall he that smote him be quit: only he shall pay for the loss of his time, and shall cause him to be thoroughly healed.
akjv@Exodus:21:20 @ And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.
akjv@Exodus:21:21 @ Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he is his money.
akjv@Exodus:21:22 @ If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman' husband will lay on him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.
akjv@Exodus:21:23 @ And if any mischief follow, then you shall give life for life,
akjv@Exodus:21:24 @ Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,
akjv@Exodus:21:25 @ Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.
akjv@Exodus:21:26 @ And if a man smite the eye of his servant, or the eye of his maid, that it perish; he shall let him go free for his eye' sake.
akjv@Exodus:21:27 @ And if he smite out his manservant' tooth, or his maidservant' tooth; he shall let him go free for his tooth' sake.
akjv@Exodus:21:28 @ If an ox gore a man or a woman, that they die: then the ox shall be surely stoned, and his flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner of the ox shall be quit.
akjv@Exodus:21:29 @ But if the ox were wont to push with his horn in time past, and it has been testified to his owner, and he has not kept him in, but that he has killed a man or a woman; the ox shall be stoned, and his owner also shall be put to death.
akjv@Exodus:21:30 @ If there be laid on him a sum of money, then he shall give for the ransom of his life whatever is laid on him.
akjv@Exodus:21:31 @ Whether he have gored a son, or have gored a daughter, according to this judgment shall it be done to him.
akjv@Exodus:21:32 @ If the ox shall push a manservant or a maidservant; he shall give to their master thirty shekels of silver, and the ox shall be stoned.
akjv@Exodus:21:33 @ And if a man shall open a pit, or if a man shall dig a pit, and not cover it, and an ox or an ass fall therein;
akjv@Exodus:21:34 @ The owner of the pit shall make it good, and give money to the owner of them; and the dead beast shall be his.
akjv@Exodus:21:35 @ And if one man' ox hurt another', that he die; then they shall sell the live ox, and divide the money of it; and the dead ox also they shall divide.
akjv@Exodus:21:36 @ Or if it be known that the ox has used to push in time past, and his owner has not kept him in; he shall surely pay ox for ox; and the dead shall be his own.
akjv@Exodus:22:1 @ If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.
akjv@Exodus:22:2 @ If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him.
akjv@Exodus:22:3 @ If the sun be risen on him, there shall be blood shed for him; for he should make full restitution; if he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.
akjv@Exodus:22:4 @ If the theft be certainly found in his hand alive, whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep; he shall restore double.
akjv@Exodus:22:5 @ If a man shall cause a field or vineyard to be eaten, and shall put in his beast, and shall feed in another man' field; of the best of his own field, and of the best of his own vineyard, shall he make restitution.

akjv@Exodus:22:7 @ If a man shall deliver to his neighbor money or stuff to keep, and it be stolen out of the man' house; if the thief be found, let him pay double.
akjv@Exodus:22:8 @ If the thief be not found, then the master of the house shall be brought to the judges, to see whether he have put his hand to his neighbor' goods.
akjv@Exodus:22:9 @ For all manner of trespass, whether it be for ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment, or for any manner of lost thing which another challenges to be his, the cause of both parties shall come before the judges; and whom the judges shall condemn, he shall pay double to his neighbor.
akjv@Exodus:22:10 @ If a man deliver to his neighbor an ass, or an ox, or a sheep, or any beast, to keep; and it die, or be hurt, or driven away, no man seeing it:
akjv@Exodus:22:11 @ Then shall an oath of the LORD be between them both, that he has not put his hand to his neighbor' goods; and the owner of it shall accept thereof, and he shall not make it good.
akjv@Exodus:22:12 @ And if it be stolen from him, he shall make restitution to the owner thereof.
akjv@Exodus:22:13 @ If it be torn in pieces, then let him bring it for witness, and he shall not make good that which was torn.
akjv@Exodus:22:14 @ And if a man borrow ought of his neighbor, and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof being not with it, he shall surely make it good.
akjv@Exodus:22:15 @ But if the owner thereof be with it, he shall not make it good: if it be an hired thing, it came for his hire.
akjv@Exodus:22:16 @ And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife.
akjv@Exodus:22:17 @ If her father utterly refuse to give her to him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins.

akjv@Exodus:22:19 @ Whoever lies with a beast shall surely be put to death.
akjv@Exodus:22:20 @ He that sacrifices to any god, save to the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.
akjv@Exodus:22:21 @ You shall neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.
akjv@Exodus:22:22 @ You shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.
akjv@Exodus:22:23 @ If you afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all to me, I will surely hear their cry;

akjv@Exodus:22:25 @ If you lend money to any of my people that is poor by you, you shall not be to him as an usurer, neither shall you lay on him usury.
akjv@Exodus:22:26 @ If you at all take your neighbor' raiment to pledge, you shall deliver it to him by that the sun goes down:
akjv@Exodus:22:27 @ For that is his covering only, it is his raiment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he cries to me, that I will hear; for I am gracious.
akjv@Exodus:22:28 @ You shall not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of your people.
akjv@Exodus:22:29 @ You shall not delay to offer the first of your ripe fruits, and of your liquors: the firstborn of your sons shall you give to me.
akjv@Exodus:22:30 @ Likewise shall you do with your oxen, and with your sheep: seven days it shall be with his dam; on the eighth day you shall give it me.
akjv@Exodus:22:31 @ And you shall be holy men to me: neither shall you eat any flesh that is torn of beasts in the field; you shall cast it to the dogs.
akjv@Exodus:23:1 @ You shall not raise a false report: put not your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
akjv@Exodus:23:2 @ You shall not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shall you speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:
akjv@Exodus:23:3 @ Neither shall you countenance a poor man in his cause.
akjv@Exodus:23:4 @ If you meet your enemy' ox or his ass going astray, you shall surely bring it back to him again.
akjv@Exodus:23:5 @ If you see the ass of him that hates you lying under his burden, and would forbear to help him, you shall surely help with him.
akjv@Exodus:23:6 @ You shall not wrest the judgment of your poor in his cause.
akjv@Exodus:23:7 @ Keep you far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay you not: for I will not justify the wicked.
akjv@Exodus:23:8 @ And you shall take no gift: for the gift blinds the wise, and perverts the words of the righteous.
akjv@Exodus:23:9 @ Also you shall not oppress a stranger: for you know the heart of a stranger, seeing you were strangers in the land of Egypt.
akjv@Exodus:23:10 @ And six years you shall sow your land, and shall gather in the fruits thereof:
akjv@Exodus:23:11 @ But the seventh year you shall let it rest and lie still; that the poor of your people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner you shall deal with your vineyard, and with your olive grove.
akjv@Exodus:23:12 @ Six days you shall do your work, and on the seventh day you shall rest: that your ox and your ass may rest, and the son of your handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.
akjv@Exodus:23:13 @ And in all things that I have said to you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of your mouth.
akjv@Exodus:23:14 @ Three times you shall keep a feast to me in the year.
akjv@Exodus:23:15 @ You shall keep the feast of unleavened bread: (you shall eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded you, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it you came out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)
akjv@Exodus:23:16 @ And the feast of harvest, the first fruits of your labors, which you have sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when you have gathered in your labors out of the field.
akjv@Exodus:23:17 @ Three items in the year all your males shall appear before the LORD God.
akjv@Exodus:23:18 @ You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.
akjv@Exodus:23:19 @ The first of the first fruits of your land you shall bring into the house of the LORD your God. You shall not seethe a kid in his mother' milk.
akjv@Exodus:23:20 @ Behold, I send an Angel before you, to keep you in the way, and to bring you into the place which I have prepared.
akjv@Exodus:23:21 @ Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.
akjv@Exodus:23:22 @ But if you shall indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and an adversary to your adversaries.
akjv@Exodus:23:23 @ For my Angel shall go before you, and bring you in to the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.
akjv@Exodus:23:24 @ You shall not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but you shall utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
akjv@Exodus:23:25 @ And you shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless your bread, and your water; and I will take sickness away from the middle of you.
akjv@Exodus:23:26 @ There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in your land: the number of your days I will fulfill.
akjv@Exodus:23:27 @ I will send my fear before you, and will destroy all the people to whom you shall come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.
akjv@Exodus:23:28 @ And I will send hornets before you, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before you.
akjv@Exodus:23:29 @ I will not drive them out from before you in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against you.
akjv@Exodus:23:30 @ By little and little I will drive them out from before you, until you be increased, and inherit the land.
akjv@Exodus:23:31 @ And I will set your bounds from the Red sea even to the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert to the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and you shall drive them out before you.
akjv@Exodus:23:32 @ You shall make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
akjv@Exodus:23:33 @ They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against me: for if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you.
akjv@Exodus:24:1 @ And he said to Moses, Come up to the LORD, you, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship you afar off.
akjv@Exodus:24:2 @ And Moses alone shall come near the LORD: but they shall not come near; neither shall the people go up with him.
akjv@Exodus:24:3 @ And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD has said will we do.
akjv@Exodus:24:4 @ And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and built an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
akjv@Exodus:24:5 @ And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the LORD.
akjv@Exodus:24:6 @ And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basins; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
akjv@Exodus:24:7 @ And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD has said will we do, and be obedient.
akjv@Exodus:24:8 @ And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD has made with you concerning all these words.
akjv@Exodus:24:9 @ Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:
akjv@Exodus:24:10 @ And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.
akjv@Exodus:24:11 @ And on the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.
akjv@Exodus:24:12 @ And the LORD said to Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give you tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that you may teach them.
akjv@Exodus:24:13 @ And Moses rose up, and his minister Joshua: and Moses went up into the mount of God.
akjv@Exodus:24:14 @ And he said to the elders, Tarry you here for us, until we come again to you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come to them.
akjv@Exodus:24:15 @ And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount.
akjv@Exodus:24:16 @ And the glory of the LORD stayed on mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called to Moses out of the middle of the cloud.
akjv@Exodus:24:17 @ And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.
akjv@Exodus:24:18 @ And Moses went into the middle of the cloud, and got him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.
akjv@Exodus:25:1 @ And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
akjv@Exodus:25:2 @ Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that gives it willingly with his heart you shall take my offering.
akjv@Exodus:25:3 @ And this is the offering which you shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass,
akjv@Exodus:25:4 @ And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats'hair,
akjv@Exodus:25:5 @ And rams'skins dyed red, and badgers'skins, and shittim wood,
akjv@Exodus:25:6 @ Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense,
akjv@Exodus:25:7 @ Onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate.
akjv@Exodus:25:8 @ And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.
akjv@Exodus:25:9 @ According to all that I show you, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall you make it.
akjv@Exodus:25:10 @ And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
akjv@Exodus:25:11 @ And you shall overlay it with pure gold, within and without shall you overlay it, and shall make on it a crown of gold round about.
akjv@Exodus:25:12 @ And you shall cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof; and two rings shall be in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it.
akjv@Exodus:25:13 @ And you shall make staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.
akjv@Exodus:25:14 @ And you shall put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.
akjv@Exodus:25:15 @ The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it.
akjv@Exodus:25:16 @ And you shall put into the ark the testimony which I shall give you.
akjv@Exodus:25:17 @ And you shall make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
akjv@Exodus:25:18 @ And you shall make two cherubim of gold, of beaten work shall you make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.
akjv@Exodus:25:19 @ And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall you make the cherubim on the two ends thereof.
akjv@Exodus:25:20 @ And the cherubim shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubim be.
akjv@Exodus:25:21 @ And you shall put the mercy seat above on the ark; and in the ark you shall put the testimony that I shall give you.
akjv@Exodus:25:22 @ And there I will meet with you, and I will commune with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel.
akjv@Exodus:25:23 @ You shall also make a table of shittim wood: two cubits shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
