gltv@Amos:1:8 @ And I will cut off Ashdod's dwellers and him who holds the scepter from Ashkelon; and I will turn My hand against Ekron; and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, says the Lord Jehovah.

gltv@Amos:1:9 @ So says Jehovah: For three transgressions of Tyre, and for four, I will not turn back from it, for they delivered up as exiles a complete population to Edom and did not remember the covenant of brothers.

gltv@Amos:1:11 @ So says Jehovah: For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn back from it, for he pursued his brother with the sword, and corrupted his compassions, and his anger tore continually, and he kept it, his wrath, forever.

gltv@Amos:1:13 @ So says Jehovah: For three transgressions of the sons of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn back from it, for they ripped open the pregnant women of Gilead, to make their border larger.

gltv@Amos:1:15 @ And their king shall go into captivity, he and his rulers together, says Jehovah.

gltv@Amos:2:2 @ But I will send a fire against Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth. And Moab shall die with uproar, with a war cry, with the sound of the ram's horn.

gltv@Amos:2:3 @ And I will cut off the judge in its midst, and I will kill all his rulers with him, says Jehovah.

gltv@Amos:2:4 @ So says Jehovah: For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn back from it; for they despised the law of Jehovah, and they have not kept His statutes. And their lies after which their fathers walked led them astray.

gltv@Amos:2:5 @ And I shall send a fire against Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.

gltv@Amos:2:6 @ So says Jehovah: For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn back from it, for they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of sandals,

gltv@Amos:2:7 @ panting for the dust of the earth on the head of the helpless, and turning aside the way of the humble. And a man and his father will go in to the same girl, in order to profane the name of My holiness.

gltv@Amos:2:8 @ And they will stretch out beside every altar, and on garments taken in pledge. And they will drink wine of those being fined in the house of God.

gltv@Amos:2:10 @ Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt and led you in the wilderness forty years, to possess the land of the Amorite.

gltv@Amos:2:13 @ Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart full with produce is pressed.

gltv@Amos:2:14 @ And refuge shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his power, nor shall the mighty deliver his life,

gltv@Amos:2:15 @ and he who handles the bow shall not stand, and he swift footed shall not save, and the horse rider shall not save his life.

gltv@Amos:3:3 @ Will two walk together unless they are agreed?

gltv@Amos:3:4 @ Will a lion roar in the forest when there is no prey for him? Will a young lion cry out of his den unless he has caught?

gltv@Amos:3:5 @ Will a bird fall into a trap on the ground, and there is no bait for it? Will a trap spring up from the ground, and nothing at all be caught?

gltv@Amos:3:6 @ If a ram's horn is blowing in a city, will the people not also tremble? If there is a calamity in a city, has Jehovah not even done it?

gltv@Amos:3:7 @ For the Lord Jehovah will do nothing unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

gltv@Amos:3:9 @ Make it heard at the palaces in Ashdod, and at the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, Gather yourselves on the mountains of Samaria and see many panics in its midst, and oppressions in its midst.

gltv@Amos:3:10 @ For they do not know to do right, declares Jehovah, those who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.

gltv@Amos:3:11 @ So the Lord Jehovah says this: An enemy! And he shall be all around the land. And he shall bring you down from your fortress, and your palaces shall be plundered.

gltv@Amos:3:12 @ So says Jehovah, As the shepherd takes two legs out of the mouth of the lion, or a piece of an ear, so shall the sons of Israel be taken out, those who dwell in Samaria in a corner of a bed, and in Damascus on a couch.

gltv@Amos:3:15 @ And I will strike the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall be swept away, declares Jehovah.

gltv@Amos:4:3 @ And you shall go out at the breaches, each woman before her. And you shall throw down the high place, declares Jehovah.

gltv@Amos:4:5 @ and offer a sacrifice of a thanksgiving offering that is leavened. And cry out, call out the voluntary offerings! For so you love to do, sons of Israel, declares the Lord Jehovah.

gltv@Amos:4:7 @ And I have also withheld the rain from you when it was yet three months to the harvest. And I caused rain to fall on one city, and caused it not to rain on another city. One piece was rained on, and the piece where it did not rain was dried up.

gltv@Amos:4:8 @ So two or three cities staggered to one city in order to drink water, but they were not satisfied; yet you have not returned to Me, declares Jehovah.

gltv@Amos:4:11 @ I have overthrown among you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and you were like a firebrand plucked out of the burning; yet you have not returned to Me, declares Jehovah.

gltv@Amos:5:2 @ The virgin of Israel has fallen, and will not arise again; she lies forsaken on her land; there is no one raising her up.

gltv@Amos:5:5 @ But do not seek Bethel, and do not enter Gilgal, and do not cross over to Beersheba; for Gilgal shall surely go into exile, and Bethel shall be for nothing.

gltv@Amos:5:8 @ He who created the Pleiades and Orion, and turns the deep darkness into the morning, and He darkened the day into night; who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out on the face of the earth, Jehovah is His name;

gltv@Amos:5:13 @ So the understanding ones shall keep silent in that time, for it is an evil time.

gltv@Amos:5:16 @ So Jehovah, the God of Hosts, the Lord, says this: Wailing shall be in all streets, and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! Alas! And they shall call the farmer to the mourning, and those knowing wailing to lamentation.

gltv@Amos:5:20 @ Shall not the day of Jehovah be darkness, and not light; even very dark, and not any brightness in it?

gltv@Amos:5:22 @ Though you offer Me burnt offerings and your grain offerings, I will not be pleased; nor will I regard the peace offerings of your fat animals.

gltv@Amos:5:24 @ But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.

gltv@Amos:5:25 @ Have you brought near sacrifices and food offerings to Me forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?

gltv@Amos:6:1 @ Woe to those at ease in Zion, and those trusting in the mountain of Samaria, those noted as the leader of the nations! And the house of Israel came to them.

gltv@Amos:6:2 @ Cross to Calneh and see; and from there go to the great Hamath; then go down to Gath of the Philistines. Are they better than these kingdoms, or their border than your border?

gltv@Amos:6:12 @ Shall horses run on the rock? Or will one plow there with oxen? For you have turned justice into poison, and the fruit of righteousness into wormwood,

gltv@Amos:7:1 @ The Lord Jehovah made me see this: And, behold, He is forming locusts at the beginning of the coming up of the late grass; even behold, the late grass after the mowings of the king.

gltv@Amos:7:3 @ Jehovah repented concerning this: It shall not be, says Jehovah.

gltv@Amos:7:6 @ Jehovah repented concerning this: It shall not be, says the Lord Jehovah.

gltv@Amos:7:8 @ And Jehovah said to me, Amos, what do you see? And I said, A plumb line. And the Lord said, Behold, I will set a plumb line in the midst of My people Israel. I will not again pass over him any more.

gltv@Amos:7:9 @ And the high places of Isaac shall be desolated, and the holy places of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.

gltv@Amos:7:10 @ Then Amaziah, the priest of Bethel, sent to Jeroboam, the king of Israel, saying, has plotted against you in the midst of the house of Israel. The land is not able to endure all his words.

gltv@Amos:7:11 @ For so says: Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely go into exile out of his land.

gltv@Amos:7:12 @ And Amaziah said to Amos, Seer, go! Flee for yourself into the land of Judah, and eat bread there, and prophesy there.

gltv@Amos:7:14 @ Then answered and said to Amaziah: I was not a prophet, nor was I a prophet's son, but I was a herdsman and a gatherer from sycamore trees.

gltv@Amos:7:17 @ So Jehovah says this: Your wife shall be a harlot in the city, and your sons and your daughters shall fall by the sword, and your land shall be divided by a line. And you shall die in a defiled land. And Israel shall surely go into exile from his land.

gltv@Amos:8:1 @ The Lord Jehovah made me see this: And, behold, a basket of summer fruit!

gltv@Amos:8:2 @ And He said, Amos, what do you see? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. And Jehovah said to me, The end has come on My people Israel; I will not again pass over him any more.

gltv@Amos:8:3 @ And they will howl the songs of the temple in that day, declares the Lord Jehovah. The dead bodies shall be many; in every place one shall throw them out, saying, Hush!

gltv@Amos:8:5 @ saying, When will the new moon have passed, so that we may buy grain? Or the sabbath, so that we may open the wheat, making smaller the ephah, and to enlarge the shekel, and to falsify the deceitful balances,

gltv@Amos:8:6 @ in order to buy the helpless with silver, and the poor for a pair of sandals, and sell the chaff of the wheat?

gltv@Amos:8:7 @ Jehovah has sworn by the Pride of Jacob, Surely I will not ever forget all their works.

gltv@Amos:8:8 @ Shall not the land tremble for this, and all who dwell in it mourn? And all of it shall rise up like the light, and it shall overflow and sink like the Nile of Egypt.

gltv@Amos:8:10 @ And I will turn your feasts to mourning, and all your songs into a dirge. And I will bring up sackcloth on all loins, and baldness on every head. And I will make it like the mourning for an only one; and the end of it shall be like a bitter day.

gltv@Amos:8:11 @ Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord Jehovah, that I will send a famine into the land, not a famine for bread, nor a thirst for water, but rather a famine for hearing the words of Jehovah.

gltv@Amos:8:12 @ And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to east; they shall roam about to seek the word of Jehovah, and they shall not find it.

gltv@Amos:8:14 @ They who swear by the guilt of Samaria, and say, As your God lives, O Dan! And, As the way of Beer-sheba lives! Even they shall fall, and not rise again.

gltv@Amos:9:2 @ And if they dig through into Sheol, from there My hand will take them. And if they go up to the heavens, from there I will bring them down.

gltv@Amos:9:3 @ And if they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out from there. And if they hide from My eyes in the bottom of the sea, from there I will command the serpent, and he will bite them.

gltv@Amos:9:4 @ And if they go into exile before their enemies, from there I will command the sword, and it will kill them. And I will set My eyes on them for evil, and not for good.

gltv@Amos:9:6 @ It is He who builds His staircase in the heavens, and He has founded His binding heavens on the earth; He who calls for the seawater and pours them out on the face of the earth, Jehovah is His name.

gltv@Amos:9:10 @ All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword, those who say, The evil shall not draw near or confront us.

gltv@Amos:9:13 @ Behold, the days are coming, declares Jehovah, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who draws along seed. And the mountains shall drop new must, and all the hills will be dissolved.

gltv@Amos:9:15 @ And I will plant them on their land, and they shall never again be pulled up out of their land which I have given to them, says Jehovah your God.

gltv@Obadiah:1:1 @ The vision of Obadiah: So says the Lord Jehovah concerning Edom: We have heard a message from Jehovah, and a messenger is sent among the nations; rise up, and let us rise up against her for battle.

gltv@Obadiah:1:4 @ Though you rise high as the eagle, and though you set your nest between the stars, I will bring you down from there, declares Jehovah.

gltv@Obadiah:1:5 @ If thieves came to you, if destroyers by night, how you have been cut off! Would they not have stolen until they had enough? If the grape-gatherers came to you, would they not leave gleanings?

gltv@Obadiah:1:7 @ All the men of your covenant have dismissed you to the border. The men who were at peace with you have deceived you and have prevailed over you. They are setting your bread as a snare under you; there is no understanding in him.

gltv@Obadiah:1:8 @ Shall I not in that day even destroy the wise out of Edom and understanding out of the mount of Esau? declares Jehovah.

gltv@Obadiah:1:9 @ And your mighty ones, Teman, shall be afraid, so that each man from the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter.

gltv@Obadiah:1:10 @ Shame shall cover you from the violence against your brother Jacob, and you shall be cut off forever.

gltv@Obadiah:1:11 @ On the day of your standing on the other side, on the day that the strangers take his force captive, and foreigners enter his gates, and cast lots for Jerusalem, even you were like one of them.

gltv@Obadiah:1:12 @ But you should not have looked on the day of your brother, on the day of his alienation; nor should you have rejoiced over the sons of Judah in the day of their destruction; nor should you have enlarged your mouth in the day of distress.

gltv@Obadiah:1:13 @ You should not have entered into My people's gate on the day of his calamity; also you should not have looked on his evil on the day of his calamity, nor should you have sent out against his force in the day of his calamity.

gltv@Obadiah:1:20 @ And the exiles of this force shall go to the sons of Israel who shall possess the land of the Canaanites to Zarephath; even the exiles of Jerusalem who are in Sepharad shall possess the cities of the Negeb.

gltv@Obadiah:1:21 @ And deliverers shall go up into the mountain of Zion to judge the mountain of Esau, and the kingdom shall be to Jehovah.

gltv@Jonah:1:3 @ But rose up to flee to Tarshish from the presence of Jehovah. And he went down to Joppa, and he found a ship going to Tarshish. And he gave its fare and went down into it in order to go with them to Tarshish, from before the face of Jehovah.

gltv@Jonah:1:4 @ But Jehovah hurled a great wind into the sea, and there was a great storm in the sea, and the ship was thought to be broken.

gltv@Jonah:1:5 @ And the sailors were afraid, and each man cried to his god. And they threw out the ship's articles into the sea, to lighten it off of them. But had gone down into the hold of the ship; and he lay down, and was sound asleep.

gltv@Jonah:1:6 @ And the chief of the seamen came near to him and said to him, What is it to you, O sound sleeper? Rise up and cry out to your God! It may be our god will notice us, and we will not perish.

gltv@Jonah:1:8 @ And they said to him, Please tell us on account of whom has this evil occurred to us? What is your work? And from where do you come? What is your country, and of what people are you?

gltv@Jonah:1:10 @ And the men were terrified with fear and said to him, What is this you have done? For the men knew that he was fleeing from before the face of Jehovah, because he had told them.

gltv@Jonah:1:13 @ But the men rowed to return to the dry land, but they were not able, for the sea was going on and being stormy against them.

gltv@Jonah:1:14 @ And they cried out to Jehovah, and said, We beseech You, O Jehovah, we beseech You, do not let us perish for this man's life, and do not lay innocent blood on us. For You, O Jehovah, have done as You desired.

gltv@Jonah:1:16 @ Then the men feared Jehovah with a great fear and offered a sacrifice to Jehovah, and vowed vows.

gltv@Jonah:2:2 @ And he said, I cried out to Jehovah from my distress. And He answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol I cried for help, and You heard my voice.

gltv@Jonah:2:3 @ For You cast me into the deep, into the heart of the seas, and the current surrounded me; all Your breakers and Your waves passed over me.

gltv@Jonah:2:5 @ Waters encompassed me, even to my soul; the depth closed around me; seaweed was clinging to my head.

gltv@Jonah:2:6 @ I went down to the bases of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me forever. But You brought up my life from the pit, O Jehovah my God.

gltv@Jonah:2:7 @ When my soul fainted within me, I remembered Jehovah; and my prayer came to You, to Your holy temple.

gltv@Jonah:2:8 @ Those who observe vanities of idolatry forsake their faithfulness;

gltv@Jonah:3:4 @ And began to enter a day's journey into the city. And he cried out and said, Yet forty days and Nineveh shall be overthrown!

gltv@Jonah:3:6 @ And the word touched even to the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he took his robe from him and covered himself with sackcloth and sat on the ashes.

gltv@Jonah:3:7 @ And he cried and said in Nineveh by the decree of the king and of his great ones, saying, Do not let man or beast, herd or flock, taste anything; do not let them feed nor let them drink water.

gltv@Jonah:3:8 @ But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth. And let them call with strength to God. And let them each one turn from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their palms.

gltv@Jonah:3:9 @ Who knows? He may turn, and God may have pity and turn away from the glow of His anger, that we do not perish.

gltv@Jonah:3:10 @ And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way. And God was compassionate over the evil that He had declared to do to them, and He did not do it.

gltv@Jonah:4:1 @ But it was a great calamity to Jonah's eye, and it kindled anger in him.

gltv@Jonah:4:2 @ And he prayed to Jehovah, and said, Please, O Jehovah, was this not my word while I was on my own land? On account of this, I fled to Tarshish before, for I knew that You are a gracious God and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and One who repents over calamity.

gltv@Jonah:4:3 @ And now, O Jehovah, please take my life from me. For better is my death than my life.

gltv@Jonah:4:4 @ And Jehovah said, Is anger rightly kindled in you?

gltv@Jonah:4:5 @ And went out from the city and sat on the east of the city. And he made there a booth for himself and sat under it in the shade until he should see what would happen in the city.

gltv@Jonah:4:6 @ And Jehovah God appointed a plant, and it came up over to be shade over his head, in order to deliver him from his misery. And rejoiced over the plant with great joy.

gltv@Jonah:4:8 @ And it happened when the sun shone, God had appointed a scorching east wind; and the sun struck Jonah's head, so that he fainted; and he asked for his life to die. And he said, Better is my death than my life.

gltv@Jonah:4:9 @ And God said to Jonah, Is your anger rightly kindled over the plant? And he said, My anger is rightly kindled, even to death.

gltv@Jonah:4:10 @ And Jehovah said, You have had pity on the plant for which you had not labored, nor made it grow, which was the son of a night and perished the son of a night,

gltv@Micah:1:1 @ The word of Jehovah that was to of Moresheth in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw on Samaria and Jerusalem:

gltv@Micah:1:4 @ And the mountains shall melt under Him, and the valleys shall cleave themselves, as wax before the fire, as waters poured out on a steep place.

gltv@Micah:1:5 @ All this is against the transgression of Jacob, and against the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? Is it not Samaria? And what are the high places of Judah? Are they not Jerusalem?

gltv@Micah:1:6 @ And I will make Samaria into ruins of the field, planting places for a vineyard. And I will pour down her stones into the valley, and I will uncover her foundations.

gltv@Micah:1:7 @ And all her carved images shall be beaten to pieces, and all her gifts for harlotry shall be burned with fire. And I will make all her idols a desolation. For she gathered it from the reward of a harlot, and they shall return to the reward of a harlot.

gltv@Micah:1:8 @ Because of this I will wail and howl; I will go stripped and naked; I will make a wailing like the jackal, yea, mourn like the daughters of an ostrich.

gltv@Micah:1:9 @ For her wounds are incurable; for it has come to Judah; it has reached to the gate of my people, to Jerusalem.

gltv@Micah:1:11 @ Pass over to them, O dweller of Shaphir, in nakedness of shame. The dweller of Zaanan has not gone out; the mourning of Bethezel shall take from you its place of standing.

gltv@Micah:1:12 @ For be grieved for good, the inhabitant of Maroth, for evil came down from Jehovah to the gate of Jerusalem.

gltv@Micah:1:13 @ Inhabitant of Lachish, tie the chariot to the stallion; she is the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion, for the transgressions of Israel were found in you.

gltv@Micah:1:15 @ I will bring an heir to you again, O dweller of Mareshah. The glory of Israel shall come to Adullam.

gltv@Micah:2:1 @ Woe to those plotting wickedness and preparing evil on their beds! In the light of the morning they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.

gltv@Micah:2:2 @ And they covet and seize fields and houses, and carry them away. And they oppress a man and his household, even a man and his inheritance.

gltv@Micah:2:5 @ So there shall not be for you one casting a line by lot in the congregation of Jehovah.

gltv@Micah:2:8 @ Even yesterday My people have risen up like an enemy. You strip off an inner robe from before an outer garment, from those who pass by confidently, those returning from war.

gltv@Micah:2:9 @ You have thrown the wives of My people out from the house of her delight; you have taken away My majesty forever from her children.

gltv@Micah:2:11 @ If a man walks with wind, and he lies in deceit, saying, I will drop words to you for wine and for fermented drink, he shall even be a dropper of words for this people.

gltv@Micah:2:12 @ I will surely gather all of you, Jacob; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel. I will set him together like the sheep of Bozrah, like a flock in the midst of its fold. They shall be in commotion because of men.

gltv@Micah:3:3 @ who also eat the flesh of My people, and cause their skin to come off from them; yea, they break their bones and shatter, like that in the pot, and as flesh in the midst of the kettle.

gltv@Micah:3:4 @ Then they shall cry out to Jehovah, but He will not answer them. He will even hide His face from them in that time, as they have done evil in their doings.

gltv@Micah:3:5 @ So says Jehovah concerning the prophets who make My people err, who bite with their teeth and call out, Peace! And whoever does not give for their mouth, they even sanctify a war against him.

gltv@Micah:3:6 @ So a night shall be for you apart from vision; and darkness apart from divining. And the sun shall go down on the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.

gltv@Micah:3:7 @ And the seers shall be ashamed, and the diviners shall blush, all of them; yea, they shall cover over their mustache, for there is no answer from God.

gltv@Micah:3:8 @ But by the Spirit of Jehovah I am full of power and justice and might, to declare to Jacob his transgression, and his sin to Israel.

gltv@Micah:3:9 @ Please hear this, heads of the house of Jacob, and magistrates of the house of Israel, you who abhor justice and pervert all equity.

gltv@Micah:3:10 @ those building up Zion with blood and Jerusalem with iniquity:

gltv@Micah:3:11 @ Her leaders judge for a bribe, and her priests teach for pay, and her prophets divine for silver; yet they will lean on Jehovah, saying, is not Jehovah among us? No evil shall come on us!

gltv@Micah:3:12 @ Therefore, on account of you, Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house into high places of the forest.

gltv@Micah:4:2 @ And many nations shall come and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, and to the house of the God of Jacob. And He will teach us from His ways, and we will walk in His paths. For the law shall go forth out of Zion, and the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.

gltv@Micah:4:4 @ But they shall each one sit under his vine and under his fig tree, and there shall be no trembling. For the mouth of Jehovah of hosts has spoken.

gltv@Micah:4:5 @ For all the peoples walk, each one in the name of his god; but we will walk in the name of Jehovah our God forever and ever.

gltv@Micah:4:6 @ In that day I will gather the lame, declares Jehovah, and I will gather the banished, and the one I have afflicted.

gltv@Micah:4:7 @ And I will make the lame into a remnant, and her who was cast off into a strong nation. And Jehovah shall reign over them in Mount Zion from now on, and to forever.

gltv@Micah:4:8 @ And you, tower of the flock, the hill of the daughter of Zion, it shall happen to you. And the rulers, the chief ones, shall come, the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.

gltv@Micah:4:9 @ Now why do you cry aloud, an outcry? Is there not a king among you? Has your adviser perished? For pangs have seized you like one giving birth.

gltv@Micah:4:10 @ Be in pain and deliver, daughter of Zion, like one giving birth. For now you shall go out from the city, and you shall live in the field. And you shall come to Babylon. There you shall be snatched back. There Jehovah shall redeem you from the palm of your enemies.

gltv@Micah:4:11 @ Now also many nations are gathered against you, saying, Let her be defiled, and let our eyes look on Zion.

gltv@Micah:4:12 @ But they do not know the plans of Jehovah, nor do they understand His counsel. For He has gathered them like the sheaf to the threshing floor.

gltv@Micah:4:13 @ Rise up and thresh, O daughter of Zion, for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs bronze, and you shall crush many peoples. And I will devote their gain to Jehovah, and their wealth to the Lord of all the earth.

gltv@Micah:5:1 @ Now gather yourself together, daughter of a troop; one sets a siege against us. They shall strike the Judge of Israel with a rod on the cheek.

gltv@Micah:5:2 @ And you, Bethlehem Ephratah, being least among the thousands of Judah, out of you He shall come forth to Me to become Ruler in Israel; and His goings forth have been from of old, from the days of eternity.

gltv@Micah:5:3 @ So He will give them over until the time the one giving birth has given birth. Then the rest of His brothers shall return to the sons of Israel.

gltv@Micah:5:5 @ And this One shall be peace. When Assyria shall come into our land, and when he shall walk in our palaces, then we shall raise against him seven shepherds and eight anointed ones of man.

gltv@Micah:5:6 @ And they shall mar the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod at her entrances. And He shall deliver us from Assyria, when he comes into our land, and when he treads within our border.

gltv@Micah:5:7 @ And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many peoples as dew from Jehovah, as showers on a blade of grass, which does not wait for man, nor delay for the sons of men.

gltv@Micah:5:8 @ And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion among the flocks of sheep (who both tramples and tears in pieces if he passes through) and there is no one to snatch back.

gltv@Micah:5:12 @ And I will cut off sorceries out of your hand, and there shall not be fortune-tellers.

gltv@Micah:5:15 @ And I will execute vengeance in anger and in fury on the nations, such as they have not heard.

gltv@Micah:6:3 @ My people, what have I done to you? And how have I made you weary? Answer against Me.

gltv@Micah:6:5 @ My people, remember now what Balak, king of Moab, planned; and what Balaam, the son of Beor, answered him from Shittim to Gilgal, so that you may know the righteousnesses of Jehovah.

gltv@Micah:6:6 @ With what shall I come before Jehovah, to bow myself before the loftiness of God? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, with calves, sons of a year?

gltv@Micah:6:8 @ O man, He has declared to you what is good. And what does Jehovah require of you, but to do justice, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

gltv@Micah:6:10 @ Are there yet in the house of the wicked the treasures of wickedness, and a cursed ephah of leanness?

gltv@Micah:6:12 @ For her rich ones are full of violence, and her inhabitants speak a lie, and their tongue is deceit in their mouth.

gltv@Micah:6:14 @ You shall eat, but not be satisfied, and your hunger shall be in your midst. And you shall draw back, but shall not save; and that which you save, I will give up to the sword.

gltv@Micah:6:16 @ And one has kept himself as to the statutes of Omri and all the works of the house of Ahab. And you walk in their counsels, so that I may give you for a horror and her inhabitants for a hissing. And you shall bear the shame of My people.

gltv@Micah:7:1 @ Woe to me! For I am like the gatherings of summer fruit, like the gleanings of the vintage. There is no cluster to eat; my soul desires the early fig.

gltv@Micah:7:2 @ The pious has perished from the earth, and the upright is not among mankind. All of them lie in wait for blood; each one hunts his brother with a net.

gltv@Micah:7:3 @ Both palms are on evil, to do it well. The ruler is asking for a bribe, also the judge. And the great one speaks the lust of his soul; he acts, and they weave it together.

gltv@Micah:7:4 @ The best of them is like a thorn; the upright more than a hedge of thorns. The day of your watchers, your visitation is coming; now their shame shall be.

gltv@Micah:7:5 @ Put no faith in a companion; put no trust in a friend; keep the door of your mouth from her who lies in your bosom;

gltv@Micah:7:6 @ for a son despises his father; a daughter rises up against her mother; the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man's enemies are the men of his house.

gltv@Micah:7:10 @ And my enemy shall see; and shame shall cover her, the one saying to me, Where is He, Jehovah your God? My eyes shall look on her. Now she shall be for a trampling, as the mud of the streets.

gltv@Micah:7:12 @ That day he shall come even to you from Assyria and the besieged cities, and from the siege even to the River, and from sea to sea, and mountain to mountain.

gltv@Micah:7:17 @ They shall lick the dust like a snake; they shall tremble out of their holes like crawlers of the earth; they shall dread Jehovah our God; they shall fear from You.

gltv@Micah:7:18 @ Who is a God like You, forgiving iniquity and passing by the transgression of the remnant of His possession? He does not make strong His anger forever, for He delights in grace.

gltv@Micah:7:20 @ You will give faithfulness to Jacob, kindness to Abraham, which You have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

gltv@Nahum:1:3 @ Jehovah takes long to anger, and is great of power, and He does not by any means acquit the guilty. Jehovah has His way in the tempest and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet.

gltv@Nahum:1:4 @ He rebukes the sea and makes it dry, and dries up the rivers. Bashan and Carmel wither, and the flower of Lebanon withers.

gltv@Nahum:1:6 @ Who can stand before His fury? And who can rise against the heat of His anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken down because of Him.

gltv@Nahum:1:9 @ What are you plotting against Jehovah? He will make an utter end; distress shall not rise up a second time.

gltv@Nahum:1:10 @ For as thorns are woven together, and as their drunkards are drunken, they shall be devoured like fully dried straw.

gltv@Nahum:1:14 @ And Jehovah has commanded concerning you. Not one of your name shall be sown any more; I will cut off the carved image and the molten image out of the house of your gods; I will appoint your grave, for you are despised.

gltv@Nahum:2:1 @ The one scattering is coming up against your face. Guard the rampart; watch the way; make the loins strong, exceedingly firm up your power.

gltv@Nahum:2:2 @ For Jehovah has turned the glory of Jacob as the glory of Israel. For the plunderers have plundered them and have destroyed their vine branches.

gltv@Nahum:2:3 @ The shield of his mighty ones has become red, the mighty men are clothed in scarlet, the chariots will flame like iron torches in the day of preparation, and the cypresses are made to quiver.

gltv@Nahum:2:5 @ He shall remember its nobles; they shall stumble in their walking; they shall hurry to its wall, and the covering shall be set up.

gltv@Nahum:2:6 @ The gates of the rivers shall be opened, and the palace shall be melted.

gltv@Nahum:2:7 @ And she who stood firm is uncovered and caused to go away; and her slave girls are moaning like the sound of doves, beating on their breast.

gltv@Nahum:2:8 @ And Nineveh is like a pool of water from her days; yet they are fleeing. They cry, Stand! Stand! But no one turns himself.

gltv@Nahum:2:9 @ Plunder the silver! plunder the gold! For there is no end to the treasures, riches from all precious objects.

gltv@Nahum:2:11 @ Where is the den of the lions and the feeding place of the young lions, where the lion, and the lioness, and the lion's cub walked, and none shall terrify them.

gltv@Nahum:2:13 @ Behold, I am against you, declares Jehovah of hosts; and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour your young lions. And I will cut off your prey from the earth, and the voice of your messengers shall not be heard any more.

gltv@Nahum:3:1 @ Woe to the bloody city! All of it is a lie, all of plunder; the prey is not withdrawn.

gltv@Nahum:3:3 @ The horseman lifts up both the gleam of the sword and the lightning of the spear, and many are slain, and there are a mass of dead bodies, and no end of corpses; they stumble on their dead bodies,

gltv@Nahum:3:4 @ because of the many harlotries of the well favored harlot, the mistress of sorceries who sells nations by her harlotries, and families by her sorceries.

gltv@Nahum:3:5 @ Behold, I am against you, declares Jehovah of hosts, and I will uncover your skirts over your face, and I will cause the nations to see your nakedness, and the kingdoms your shame.

gltv@Nahum:3:7 @ And it shall be that all those who look on you shall flee from you and shall say, Nineveh is laid waste; who shall weep for her? From where shall I seek comforters for you?

gltv@Nahum:3:8 @ Are you better than No Amon that dwelt among the Nile branches, waters surrounding her, whose rampart was the sea, the waters her wall?

gltv@Nahum:3:9 @ Ethiopia and Egypt were her strength, yea, without end; Put and Lubim were among your helpers.

gltv@Nahum:3:10 @ Yet she went into exile; she went into captivity. Also her young ones were dashed to pieces at the head of all the streets, and they cast lots for her honored ones, and all her great ones were bound in chains.

gltv@Nahum:3:12 @ All your fortresses are fig trees with the firstfruits; if they are shaken, then they shall fall on the mouth of the eater.

gltv@Nahum:3:14 @ Draw water of the siege for you! Strengthen your fortifications! Go into the clay and tread in the mortar! Make the mold strong!

gltv@Nahum:3:15 @ Fire will devour you there. The sword shall cut you off. It will eat you up like the locust larvae. Make yourself as many as the larvae; multiply yourself like the locusts.

gltv@Nahum:3:16 @ You have increased your merchants above the stars of the heavens; the locust larvae shall strip off and fly away.

gltv@Nahum:3:17 @ Your princes are like the locusts, and your officials are a swarm of locusts that camp in the hedges in the cold day. The sun rises and they flee, and the place where they are is not known.

gltv@Nahum:3:18 @ Your shepherds slumber, O king of Assyria; your nobles are lying down. Your people are scattered on the mountains, and no one is gathering.

gltv@Nahum:3:19 @ There is no healing for your fracture; your wound is severe. All who hear of your report shall clap the palm over you, for on whom has your wickedness not continually passed?

gltv@Habakkuk:1:3 @ Why do You show me evil, and You look upon toil? For destruction and violence are before me; and there is strife, and contention rises up.

gltv@Habakkuk:1:4 @ On account of this the law has become helpless, and justice does not continually go forth. For the wicked hems in the righteous, so justice goes forth, being perverted.

gltv@Habakkuk:1:6 @ For, behold, I raise up the Chaldeans, the bitter and impetuous nation which is going into the broad spaces of the land, to possess dwellings not his own.

gltv@Habakkuk:1:7 @ He is terrible and fearful; his judgment and his glory comes from himself.

gltv@Habakkuk:1:8 @ His horses also are swifter than leopards and are fiercer than the evening wolves. And their horsemen spread themselves; yea, their horsemen come from afar; they shall fly as the eagle hurrying to eat.

gltv@Habakkuk:1:9 @ All of him shall come for violence; the gathering of their faces is forward; and they gather captives like the sand.

gltv@Habakkuk:1:10 @ And he shall scoff against the kings, and officials shall be a scorn to him. He shall scorn every fortress, and he shall heap up dirt and capture it.

gltv@Habakkuk:1:11 @ Then he sweeps on like a wind; and he transgresses and is guilty, crediting this power of his to his god.

gltv@Habakkuk:1:13 @ You are of purer eyes than to behold evil, and You are not able to look upon vexation. Why do you look on those who deal deceitfully? Will You be silent when the wicked swallows one more righteous than he?

gltv@Habakkuk:1:14 @ For You make man like the fish of the sea, like creeping things with no ruler over him.

gltv@Habakkuk:1:15 @ He takes up all of him with the hook; he drags him with his net and gathers him with his seine. On account of this he rejoices and exults.

gltv@Habakkuk:1:17 @ Shall he therefore empty his net, and shall he not spare to continually slay nations?

gltv@Habakkuk:2:1 @ I will stand on my guard and set myself on the tower, and watch to see what He will say against me, and what I shall return on my rebuke.

gltv@Habakkuk:2:2 @ And Jehovah answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it on the tablets, that he who reads it may run.

gltv@Habakkuk:2:5 @ And also, wine indeed betrays a proud man, and he is not content; who widens his soul like Sheol. And he is like death, and is not satisfied, but gathers all the nations to himself, and collects all the peoples to himself.

gltv@Habakkuk:2:8 @ Because you have plundered many nations, all the rest of the people shall plunder you, because of the blood of men and the violence of the land, and the city, and all those dwelling in it.

gltv@Habakkuk:2:9 @ Woe to him who robs evil booty for his house, to set his nest on high, to be delivered from the hand of evil!

gltv@Habakkuk:2:11 @ For the stone shall cry out from the wall, and the beam shall answer it from the wood.

gltv@Habakkuk:2:14 @ For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Jehovah, as the waters cover the sea.

gltv@Habakkuk:2:17 @ For the violence of Lebanon shall cover you, and the ruin of beasts shall terrify them because of the blood of men and the violence of the land, the city, and all those dwelling in it.

gltv@Habakkuk:2:18 @ What does an image profit, for its maker has carved it; a molten image, and a teacher of falsehood? For does the maker trust in his work on it, to make mute idols?

gltv@Habakkuk:2:19 @ Woe to him who says to the wood, Awake! To a mute stone, Rise up, it shall teach! Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver, but no breath is in its midst.

gltv@Habakkuk:3:1 @ A prayer of the prophet concerning erring ones:

gltv@Habakkuk:3:2 @ Jehovah, I have heard Your report; I am afraid, Jehovah. Give new life to Your work in the midst of years, in the midst of years make known; in anger remember compassion.

gltv@Habakkuk:3:3 @ God comes from Teman, and the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah. His majesty covers the heavens, and His praise fills the earth.

gltv@Habakkuk:3:4 @ And His brightness is as the light; rays from His hand are His, and there was a covering of His strength.

gltv@Habakkuk:3:6 @ He stood and measured the earth; He looked and shook nations; and the ancient mountains were shattered; the eternal hills bowed down. The goings of eternity are His.

gltv@Habakkuk:3:7 @ I saw the tents of Cushan under calamity; the curtains of the land of Midian trembled.

gltv@Habakkuk:3:8 @ Did Jehovah burn against rivers? Or was Your anger against the rivers? Or Your fury against the sea? For You ride on horses; Your chariots of salvation.

gltv@Habakkuk:3:9 @ You bare Your bow, naked according to the oaths of the rods of Your word. Selah. You have cut through the earth with rivers.

gltv@Habakkuk:3:10 @ They saw You; mountains trembled. The storm of water passed over. The deep gave its voice and lifted up its hands on high.

gltv@Habakkuk:3:12 @ You march into the land in fury. You thresh nations in anger.

gltv@Habakkuk:3:14 @ You pierced the head of his warriors with his shafts. They rush to scatter me; their rejoicing is to devour the meek in a secret place.

gltv@Habakkuk:3:15 @ You trod in the sea with Your horses, the foaming of many waters.

gltv@Habakkuk:3:16 @ I heard, and my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the sound. Rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled within myself that I might rest for the day of distress; to come up against the peoples; he cuts him off.

gltv@Habakkuk:3:17 @ Though the fig tree shall not blossom, and fruit is not on the vines; the work of the olive fails, and the fields make no food; the flock is cut off from the fold, and no herd is in the stalls,

gltv@Habakkuk:3:19 @ Jehovah the Lord is my might, and He sets my feet like hinds' feet, and He will make me to walk on my high places. To the chief singer, on my stringed instruments.

gltv@Zephaniah:1:4 @ I will also stretch out My hand on Judah and on all the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, the name of the idol worshipers, with the priests;

gltv@Zephaniah:1:6 @ and those drawing back from after Jehovah, and who have not sought Jehovah, nor asked of Him.

gltv@Zephaniah:1:8 @ And it shall be in the day of the sacrifice of Jehovah, I will punish the rulers and the king's sons, and all those clothed in foreign clothing.

gltv@Zephaniah:1:9 @ And I will punish all those who leap on the threshold in that day, who fill their masters' houses with violence and deceit.

gltv@Zephaniah:1:11 @ Howl, dwellers of Maktesh, for all the people of Canaan have perished; all those carrying silver are cut off.

gltv@Zephaniah:1:12 @ And it shall be in that time, I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and punish the men being settled on their lees; who say in their heart, Jehovah will not do good, nor will He do evil.

gltv@Zephaniah:1:13 @ And their goods shall become a prize, and their houses a waste. They shall also build houses, but not live there. And they shall plant vineyards, but not drink their wine.

gltv@Zephaniah:1:14 @ The great day of Jehovah is near; it is near and rushing greatly, the sound of the day of Jehovah. The mighty man shall cry out bitterly there.

gltv@Zephaniah:1:15 @ That day is a day of wrath, a day of adversity and distress, a day of waste and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness,

gltv@Zephaniah:1:16 @ a day of the ram's horn and alarm against the fortified cities, and against the high towers.

gltv@Zephaniah:1:18 @ Their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of Jehovah. But all the earth shall be consumed by the fire of His jealousy. For He shall make a full, yea, a speedy end of all the dwellers in the land.

gltv@Zephaniah:2:1 @ Gather yourselves, even gather, O nation not being longed for;

gltv@Zephaniah:2:2 @ before the birth of the decree, the day shall pass like the chaff, yet not before the hot anger of Jehovah comes on you, yet not before the day of the anger of Jehovah comes on you.

gltv@Zephaniah:2:3 @ Seek Jehovah, all the meek of the earth who have done His justice; seek righteousness; seek meekness. It may be you shall be hidden in the day of the anger of Jehovah.

gltv@Zephaniah:2:5 @ Woe to the inhabitants of the seacoast, the nation of the Cherethites! The word of Jehovah is against you, Canaan, the land of the Philistines; I will destroy you so there not shall be an inhabitant.

gltv@Zephaniah:2:6 @ And the seacoast shall be pastures, meadows of shepherds, and folds for the flock.

gltv@Zephaniah:2:8 @ I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the curses of the sons of Ammon, with which they have cursed My people and have magnified themselves on their border.

gltv@Zephaniah:2:9 @ So as I live, declares Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the sons of Ammon like Gomorrah, a possession of nettles, and a pit of salt, and a ruin forever. The remnant of My people shall plunder them, and the rest of the nation shall possess them.

gltv@Zephaniah:2:12 @ You also, O Ethiopians, shall be pierced by My sword.

gltv@Zephaniah:2:13 @ And He will stretch out His hand against the north, and destroy Assyria, and will make Nineveh a desolation, dry like the desert.

gltv@Zephaniah:2:14 @ And flocks shall lie down in her midst; all the beasts of a nation; both the pelican and the bittern shall lodge in the capitals of its pillars. A voice shall sing at the window; ruin shall be at the doorsill; for the cedar work He will bare.

gltv@Zephaniah:2:15 @ This is the joyful city, dwelling confidently, who says in her heart, I am, and there is yet no other. How she has become a ruin, a restingplace for animals! Everyone who passes near her shall hiss; he shall shake his hand!

gltv@Zephaniah:3:1 @ Woe to her rebelling and being defiled, to the oppressing city!

gltv@Zephaniah:3:2 @ She did not listen to the voice; she did not receive correction; she did not trust in Jehovah; she did not draw near to her God.

gltv@Zephaniah:3:3 @ Her rulers within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they do not gnaw bones for the morning.

gltv@Zephaniah:3:4 @ Her prophets are proud, men of deceit; her priests have profaned the sanctuary; they have done violence to the Law.

gltv@Zephaniah:3:5 @ The righteous Jehovah is in her midst; He will not act perversely. Every morning He gives His justice to the light; He does not fail, but the unjust knows no shame.

gltv@Zephaniah:3:6 @ I have cut off nations; their towers are ruined. I made their streets waste, so that none passes by. Their cities are laid waste, without a man, there being no inhabitant.

gltv@Zephaniah:3:7 @ I said, Surely you will fear Me; you will receive instruction; then her dwelling shall not be cut off, all that I appointed for her. But they rose up early; they corrupted all their doings.

gltv@Zephaniah:3:8 @ Therefore, wait for Me, declares Jehovah, for the day I rise up to the prey. For My judgment is to gather the nations, for Me to gather the kingdoms, to pour My fury out on them, all My hot anger. For all the earth shall be burned up with the fire of My jealousy.

gltv@Zephaniah:3:9 @ For then I will give a clear lip to the peoples, to call all of them by the name of Jehovah, to serve Him with one shoulder.

gltv@Zephaniah:3:10 @ From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia, My worshipers, the daughter of My scattered ones, shall bring My food offering.

gltv@Zephaniah:3:14 @ Shout for joy, daughter of Zion; shout, Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all the heart, daughter of Jerusalem!

gltv@Zephaniah:3:16 @ In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear not! Zion, do not let your hands droop.

gltv@Zephaniah:3:17 @ Jehovah your God is mighty in your midst; He will save. He will rejoice over you with joy; He is silent in His love. He rejoices over you with a joyful shout.

gltv@Zephaniah:3:18 @ I will gather the afflicted ones from the appointed place; they were from you, a lifting up of reproach over her.

gltv@Zephaniah:3:19 @ Behold, at that time I will deal with all those who afflict you. And I will save her who is lame, and gather her who was thrust out. And I will give them for a praise and for a name in all the land of their shame.

gltv@Zephaniah:3:20 @ In that time I will bring you, even in the time I gather you. For I will give you for a name and for a praise among all the peoples of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, says Jehovah.

gltv@Haggai:1:1 @ In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, the word of Jehovah came by the prophet to Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah; and to Joshua, the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, saying:

gltv@Haggai:1:6 @ You have sown much, and bring in little; you eat, but are not satisfied; you drink, but not to be filled; you dress, but there is no warmth to one. Yea, he who sells himself sells himself for a bag of holes.

gltv@Haggai:1:10 @ On account of this, the heavens above you have held back the dew, and the earth is held back from her produce.

gltv@Haggai:1:12 @ Then Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua, the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of Jehovah their God, and the words of the prophet, as Jehovah their God had sent him. And the people feared before Jehovah.

gltv@Haggai:1:13 @ And Haggai, the messenger of Jehovah, spoke the message of Jehovah to the people, saying, I am with you, says Jehovah.

gltv@Haggai:1:14 @ And Jehovah stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua, the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people. And they came and worked on the house of Jehovah of hosts, their God,

gltv@Haggai:2:2 @ Now speak to Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua, the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people, saying,

gltv@Haggai:2:3 @ Who is left among you who saw this house in her former glory? And how do you see it now? When compared to it, is it not as nothing in your eyes?

gltv@Haggai:2:4 @ Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, says Jehovah. And be strong, O Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest. And be strong and work, all people of the land, says Jehovah. For I am with you, declares Jehovah of hosts,

gltv@Haggai:2:8 @ The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, says Jehovah of hosts.

gltv@Haggai:2:9 @ The glory of this latter house shall be greater than that of the former, says Jehovah of hosts. And in this place I will give peace, says Jehovah of hosts.

gltv@Haggai:2:12 @ Behold, one bears holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and touches his skirt to the bread, or boiled food, or wine, or oil, or any food, will it become holy? And the priests answered and said, No.

gltv@Haggai:2:13 @ And said, If the unclean of body touches these, is it unclean? And the priests answered and said, It is unclean.

gltv@Haggai:2:14 @ And answered and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before Me, declares Jehovah. And so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.

gltv@Haggai:2:16 @ from then onward, one came to a heap of twenty measures, and there were but ten. One came to the wine vat to draw out fifty from the wine trough, and there were but twenty.

gltv@Haggai:2:21 @ Speak to Zerubbabel, the governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth.

gltv@Haggai:2:22 @ And I will overthrow the throne of the kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations. And I will overthrow the chariots and their riders, and the horses and their riders will come down, each one by the sword of his brother.

gltv@Haggai:2:23 @ In that day, says Jehovah of hosts, I will take you, O Zerubbabel, My servant, the son of Shealtiel, says Jehovah, and will make you like a signet; for I have chosen you, declares Jehovah of hosts.

gltv@Zechariah:1:1 @ In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of Jehovah came to Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,

gltv@Zechariah:1:2 @ Jehovah has been very angry with your fathers.

gltv@Zechariah:1:4 @ Do not be as your fathers, to whom the former prophets have proclaimed to them, saying, So says Jehovah of hosts: Turn now from your evil ways and your evil doings. But they did not hear or give heed to Me, says Jehovah.

gltv@Zechariah:1:5 @ Your fathers, where are they? And the prophets, do they live forever?

gltv@Zechariah:1:6 @ But My words and My statutes which I commanded My servants the prophets, did they not overtake your fathers? And they returned and said, As Jehovah of hosts purposes to do to us, according to our ways and according to our deeds, so He has done with us.

gltv@Zechariah:1:7 @ On the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month, it is the month Shebat, in the second year of Darius, the word of Jehovah was to Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,

gltv@Zechariah:1:8 @ I saw at night. And, behold! A Man riding on a red horse. And He stood among the myrtle trees in the ravine. And behind Him were red, sorrel, and white horses.

gltv@Zechariah:1:10 @ And the Man who stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These are those whom Jehovah has sent to walk to and fro through the earth.

gltv@Zechariah:1:11 @ And they answered the Angel of Jehovah who stood among the myrtle trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sits still and is at peace.

gltv@Zechariah:1:12 @ And the Angel of Jehovah answered and said, O Jehovah of hosts, until when will You not have pity on Jerusalem, and on the cities of Judah, against which You have cursed these seventy years?

gltv@Zechariah:1:13 @ And Jehovah answered the angel who was talking with me with good words, comforting words.

gltv@Zechariah:1:14 @ So the angel who was talking with me said to me, Cry out, saying, So says Jehovah of hosts: I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion, with a great jealousy.

gltv@Zechariah:1:15 @ And with great anger I am angry at the nations at ease; in that I was but a little angry, and they gave help for evil.

gltv@Zechariah:1:16 @ So Jehovah says this: I have returned to Jerusalem with compassions; My house shall be built in it, says Jehovah of hosts, and a line shall be stretched over Jerusalem.

gltv@Zechariah:1:17 @ Cry out again, saying, So says Jehovah of hosts: My cities shall again overflow with goodness, and Jehovah shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.

gltv@Zechariah:1:19 @ And I said to the angel who was talking with me, What are these? And he answered me, These are the horns that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.

gltv@Zechariah:1:21 @ And I said, What are these coming to do? And He spoke, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man lifts up his head. But these have come to terrify them, to throw down the horns of the nations who lifted up their horn over the land of Judah, to scatter it.

gltv@Zechariah:2:2 @ And I said, Where are you going? And he said to me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its breadth and what its length.

gltv@Zechariah:2:3 @ And, behold, the angel who was talking with me went out, and another angel went out to meet him,

gltv@Zechariah:2:4 @ and said to him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited, as towns without walls, for the multitude of men and livestock in her midst.

gltv@Zechariah:2:5 @ And I will be to her a wall of fire all around, and I will be for glory in her midst, declares Jehovah.

gltv@Zechariah:2:6 @ Ho! Ho! Flee then from the land of the north, says Jehovah. For I have scattered you as the four winds of the heavens, declares Jehovah.

gltv@Zechariah:2:7 @ Ho, O Zion! Escape, you who live with the daughter of Babylon.

gltv@Zechariah:2:8 @ For so says Jehovah of hosts: He has sent Me after glory, to the nations who plundered you; for he who touches you touches the pupil of His eye.

gltv@Zechariah:2:9 @ For, behold, I will shake My hand over them, and they shall be a prize for their servants. And you shall know that Jehovah has sent Me.

gltv@Zechariah:2:10 @ Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion. For, lo, I come; and I will dwell among you, says Jehovah.

gltv@Zechariah:2:12 @ And Jehovah shall possess Judah, His portion in the holy land, and He shall again choose Jerusalem.

gltv@Zechariah:3:2 @ And Jehovah said to Satan, Jehovah rebuke you, Satan! And, Jehovah who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked out of the fire?

gltv@Zechariah:3:4 @ And He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And He said to him, Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with ceremonial robes.

gltv@Zechariah:3:9 @ For, behold, I will bring forth My Servant, the BRANCH. For behold, the stone which I have given before Joshua, on the one stone are seven eyes. I will engrave its engraving, says Jehovah of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

gltv@Zechariah:3:10 @ In that day, says Jehovah of hosts, you shall invite each man to his neighbor to sit under the vine and under the fig tree.

gltv@Zechariah:4:4 @ And I answered and spoke to the angel who was talking with me, saying, What are these, my lord?

gltv@Zechariah:4:5 @ And the angel who was speaking with me answered and said to me, Do you not know what these are? And I said, No, my lord.

gltv@Zechariah:4:6 @ Then he answered and spoke to me, saying, This is the word of Jehovah to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says Jehovah of hosts.

gltv@Zechariah:4:7 @ Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain. And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts: Grace! Grace to it!

gltv@Zechariah:4:9 @ The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it. And you shall know that Jehovah of hosts has sent me to you.

gltv@Zechariah:4:10 @ For who has despised the day of small things? For they shall rejoice and shall see the plummet stone in the hand of Zerubbabel. These seven are the eyes of Jehovah; they run to and fro through all the earth.

gltv@Zechariah:4:11 @ And I answered and said to him, What are these two olive trees on the right of the lampstand, and on its left?

gltv@Zechariah:4:12 @ And I answered a second time and said to him, What are the two clusters of olives beside the two golden pipes, emptying the golden oil from themselves?

gltv@Zechariah:5:2 @ And he said to me, What do you see? And I answered, I see a flying scroll; its length is twenty cubits, and its width ten cubits.

gltv@Zechariah:5:3 @ And he said to me, This is the curse that goes forth over the face of the whole earth. For from now on everyone who steals shall be cut off according to it; and everyone who swears from now on shall be cut off according to it.

gltv@Zechariah:5:4 @ And I will bring it forth, says Jehovah of hosts. And it shall go into the house of the thief, and into the house of the one who swears falsely by My name. And it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall devour it, and its timber, and its stones.

gltv@Zechariah:5:7 @ And, behold, a lead cover was lifted up, and a woman was sitting in the middle of the ephah.

gltv@Zechariah:5:8 @ And he said, This is wickedness. And he threw her into the midst of the ephah; and he threw the lead stone over its opening.

gltv@Zechariah:5:10 @ And I said to the angel who was speaking with me, Where are they going with the ephah?

gltv@Zechariah:5:11 @ And he said to me, To build a house for it in the land of Shinar; and it shall be fixed and established there on its own place.

gltv@Zechariah:6:1 @ And again my eyes lifted up and looked, and, behold, four chariots were coming from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of bronze.

gltv@Zechariah:6:2 @ With the first chariot were red horses, and with the second chariot black horses,

gltv@Zechariah:6:4 @ And I answered and said to the angel who was talking with me, What are these, my lord?

gltv@Zechariah:6:5 @ And the angel answered and said to me, These are the four spirits of Heaven who go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

gltv@Zechariah:6:6 @ The black horses in it go into the north country, and the white go after them; and the dappled ones go toward the south country.

gltv@Zechariah:6:10 @ Take from Heldai, from Tobijah, and from Jedaiah, from the exiles who have come from Babylon; and in that day you go and enter into the house of Josiah, the son of Zephaniah.

gltv@Zechariah:6:11 @ And take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set on the head of Joshua, the son of Jehozadak, the high priest.

gltv@Zechariah:7:2 @ And Sharezer and Regem-melech, and his men, had sent to Bethel to seek the favor of the face of Jehovah,

gltv@Zechariah:7:7 @ Are not these the words which Jehovah proclaimed by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited, and prosperous with her cities all around her, and the Negeb and the Shephelah were inhabited?

gltv@Zechariah:7:9 @ So says Jehovah of hosts, saying, Judge true judgment, and practice kindness and pity, each man with his brother.

gltv@Zechariah:7:10 @ And do not oppress the widow, or the fatherless, the alien, or the poor. And do not devise evil in your heart, of a man against his brother.

gltv@Zechariah:7:11 @ But they refused to listen, and gave a stubborn shoulder, and they made their ears heavy from hearing.

gltv@Zechariah:7:12 @ And they made their heart adamant from hearing the law and the words which Jehovah of hosts has sent by the former prophets through His Spirit. And great wrath was from Jehovah of hosts.

gltv@Zechariah:8:2 @ So says Jehovah of hosts: I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great wrath.

gltv@Zechariah:8:3 @ So says Jehovah: I have returned to Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. And Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth, and the mountain of Jehovah of hosts, the holy mountain.

gltv@Zechariah:8:4 @ So says Jehovah of hosts: There shall yet be old men and old women sitting in the streets of Jerusalem; and each man with his staff in his hand because of their many days.

gltv@Zechariah:8:8 @ And I will bring them, and they shall live in the midst of Jerusalem. And they shall be for a people to Me, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

gltv@Zechariah:8:10 @ For before those days there was no payment for man, nor was there payment for animal; and there was no peace to him from the adversary who went out or came in. For I sent every man, a man against his neighbor.

gltv@Zechariah:8:11 @ But now I will not be to the remnant of this people as in former days, says Jehovah of hosts.

gltv@Zechariah:8:12 @ For there shall be peace for the seed: the vine shall give its fruit, and the ground shall give its produce, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit all these.

gltv@Zechariah:8:13 @ And it shall be, as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear; let your hands be strong.

gltv@Zechariah:8:14 @ For so says Jehovah of hosts: As I purposed to punish you when your fathers provoked Me to wrath, says Jehovah of hosts. And I did not repent,

gltv@Zechariah:8:15 @ So again I have purposed in these days to do good to Jerusalem, and the house of Judah. Do not fear.

gltv@Zechariah:8:19 @ So says Jehovah of hosts: The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall become for joy and gladness and cheerful feasts to the house of Judah. Therefore, love truth and peace.

gltv@Zechariah:8:20 @ So says Jehovah of hosts: There shall yet come peoples, and inhabitants of many cities.

gltv@Zechariah:8:21 @ And the inhabitants of one shall go to another, saying, Let us go at once to seek the favor of the face of Jehovah, and to seek Jehovah of hosts; I will go also.

gltv@Zechariah:8:22 @ And many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek Jehovah of hosts in Jerusalem, and to seek the favor of the face of Jehovah.

gltv@Zechariah:9:2 @ and Hamath also borders on it; Tyre and Sidon, though they are very wise.

gltv@Zechariah:9:3 @ And Tyre shall build a fortress for herself, and shall pile up silver like the dust, and gold like the mud of the streets.

gltv@Zechariah:9:4 @ Behold! The Lord will expel her, and He will strike her wealth in the sea, and she shall be consumed with fire.

gltv@Zechariah:9:5 @ Ashkelon shall see and fear; Gaza also shall writhe in great pain; and Ekron shall be ashamed for her hope. And the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.

gltv@Zechariah:9:7 @ And I will take away his bloods out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth. But the remnant, even he, shall be for our God. And he shall be as a governor in Judah, and Ekron, like a Jebusite.

gltv@Zechariah:9:9 @ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King comes to you! He is righteous and victorious, lowly, and riding on an ass, even on a colt, the son of an ass.

gltv@Zechariah:9:10 @ And I Will cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem. And the battle bow shall be cut off, and He shall speak peace to the nations. And His dominion shall be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.

gltv@Zechariah:9:11 @ Also you, by the blood of your covenant I have freed your prisoners from the pit; no water is in it.

gltv@Zechariah:9:12 @ Turn to the stronghold, O prisoners of hope! Even today I declare I will return double to you.

gltv@Zechariah:9:14 @ Then Jehovah will be seen over them, and His arrow shall go out as lightning; and the Lord Jehovah shall blow the ram's horn and shall go forth with the windstorms of the south.

gltv@Zechariah:9:15 @ Jehovah of hosts shall defend them. And they shall devour and trample on the slingstones. And they shall drink and be boisterous, as with wine. And they shall be full like a bowl, like the corners of the altar.

gltv@Zechariah:9:16 @ And Jehovah their God shall save them in that day as the flock of His people; for they are as stones of a crown, lifted up as a barrier over His land.

gltv@Zechariah:10:1 @ Ask rain from Jehovah in the time of the latter rain. Jehovah shall make storm clouds; and He gives them showers of rain, grass to everyone in the field.

gltv@Zechariah:10:2 @ For the family idols speak iniquity, and the diviners have seen a lie and have told false dreams. They comfort in vain. On account of this, they wandered like a flock. They were troubled because there was no shepherd.

gltv@Zechariah:10:3 @ My anger is kindled against the shepherds, and I will punish the he-goats. For Jehovah of hosts has visited His flock, the house of Judah and made them as His splendid horse in battle.

gltv@Zechariah:10:4 @ From Him came the cornerstone, from Him the nail, from Him came the battle bow, and from Him every ruler together.

gltv@Zechariah:10:5 @ And they shall be like mighty ones who trample the mud of the streets in the battle. And they shall fight because Jehovah is with them, and they shall make the riders of horses ashamed.

gltv@Zechariah:10:6 @ And I will make stronger the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph. And I will bring them back again to live, for I have pity on them. And they shall be as though I had not cast them off, for I am Jehovah their God, and I will answer them.

gltv@Zechariah:10:8 @ I will whistle for them and gather them, for I have redeemed them. And they shall multiply as they were multiplied.

gltv@Zechariah:10:9 @ And I will sow them among the peoples, and they shall remember Me in far countries, and they shall live with their sons and return.

gltv@Zechariah:10:10 @ And I will return to save them out of the land of Egypt and gather them out of Assyria. And I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon, for room shall not be found for them.

gltv@Zechariah:10:11 @ And He shall pass through the sea of distress and strike the waves in the sea, and all the depths of the Nile shall dry up. And the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the scepter of Egypt shall go away.

gltv@Zechariah:11:3 @ A voice of the wailing of the shepherds is heard, for their splendor is destroyed. A voice of the roaring of young lions is heard, for the pride of Jordan is destroyed.

gltv@Zechariah:11:4 @ For so says Jehovah my God: Feed the flock of the slaughter.

gltv@Zechariah:11:5 @ Those who buy them kill them and are not held guilty. And those who sell them say, Blessed be Jehovah, for I am rich. And their shepherds do not pity them.

gltv@Zechariah:11:6 @ For I will never again pity the inhabitants of the land, says Jehovah. But, lo, I will make the men fall, each one into his neighbor's hand, and into his king's hand. And they shall strike the land, and I will not deliver out of their hand.

gltv@Zechariah:11:7 @ And I fed the flock of slaughter, the truly poor of the flock. And I took two staffs for Myself: the one I called Kindness, and the other I called Union. And I fed the flock.

gltv@Zechariah:11:8 @ I also cut off three shepherds in one month. And My soul despised them, and their soul also detested Me.

gltv@Zechariah:11:9 @ Then I said, I will not feed you; that which dies, let it die; and that which is to be cut off, let it be cut off. And let the rest eat, each woman the flesh of her neighbor.

gltv@Zechariah:11:11 @ And it was broken in that day, and so the poor of the flock who were watching Me knew that it was the word of Jehovah.

gltv@Zechariah:11:12 @ And I said to them, If it is good in your eyes, give My price; and if not, let it go. And they weighed My price, thirty pieces of silver.

gltv@Zechariah:11:13 @ And Jehovah said to Me, Throw it to the potter, the magnificent price at which I was valued by them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw it to the potter in the house of Jehovah.

gltv@Zechariah:11:14 @ Then I broke apart My second staff Union, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.

gltv@Zechariah:11:15 @ And Jehovah said to me, Again take to yourself the instruments of a foolish shepherd.

gltv@Zechariah:11:16 @ For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land; he shall not visit those who are cut off, nor will he seek the young, nor will he heal that which is broken, nor will he sustain that which stands. But he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear off their hoofs.

gltv@Zechariah:11:17 @ Woe to the worthless shepherd who abandons the flock! The sword shall be against his arm and against his right eye. His arm shall be completely withered, and his right eye shall be totally darkened.

gltv@Zechariah:12:2 @ Behold! I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling to all the peoples all around, and it shall also be against Judah in the siege against Jerusalem.

gltv@Zechariah:12:3 @ And in that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it shall be slashed. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.

gltv@Zechariah:12:4 @ In that day I will strike every horse with panic and his rider with madness, says Jehovah. And I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and I will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.

gltv@Zechariah:12:5 @ And the leaders of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in Jehovah of hosts, their God.

gltv@Zechariah:12:6 @ In that day I will make the leaders of Judah like a hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire among cut grain. And they shall devour all the peoples all around, on the right hand and on the left hand. And Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her place, in Jerusalem.

gltv@Zechariah:12:7 @ Jehovah also shall save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem may not be magnified above Judah.

gltv@Zechariah:12:8 @ In that day Jehovah shall protect around the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And it will be, he who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of Jehovah before them.

gltv@Zechariah:12:9 @ And it shall be in that day, I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

gltv@Zechariah:12:10 @ And I will pour on the house of David, and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of prayers. And they shall look on Me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they shall be bitter over Him, like the bitterness over the first-born.

gltv@Zechariah:12:11 @ In that day the mourning in Jerusalem shall be great, like the mourning of Hadad-rimmon in the valley of Megiddo.

gltv@Zechariah:13:1 @ In that day a fountain shall be opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for impurity.

gltv@Zechariah:13:2 @ And it shall be in that day, I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall be remembered no more, says Jehovah of hosts. And I also will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.

gltv@Zechariah:13:3 @ And it shall be when any shall prophesy again, his father and his mother who gave him birth shall say to him then, You shall not live, for you speak lies in the name of Jehovah. And his father and his mother who gave him birth shall pierce him when he prophesies.

gltv@Zechariah:13:5 @ But he shall say, I am not a prophet; I am a man, a tiller of the ground, for a man caused me to buy from my youth.

gltv@Zechariah:13:6 @ And one shall say to him, What are these wounds between your hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was struck in the house of those who love me.

gltv@Zechariah:13:7 @ O sword, awake against My Shepherd, and against the Man who is My companion, says Jehovah of hosts. Strike the Shepherd and the sheep will be scattered. And I will turn My hand against the little ones.

gltv@Zechariah:13:8 @ And it shall be in all the land, says Jehovah, two parts in it shall be cut off and perish, but the third shall be left in it.

gltv@Zechariah:13:9 @ And I will bring the third part through the fire, and I will refine them as silver is refined. And I will try them as gold is tried. They shall call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say, It is My people, and they shall say, Jehovah is my God.

gltv@Zechariah:14:2 @ For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem. And the city shall be captured, and the houses plundered, and the women ravished. And half the city shall go into exile and the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

gltv@Zechariah:14:4 @ And His feet shall stand in that day on the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives shall divide from its middle, from the east even to the west, a very great valley. And half of the mountain shall move toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

gltv@Zechariah:14:6 @ And it will be in that day, there shall not be light; the glorious ones will shrink.

gltv@Zechariah:14:7 @ And it will be, one day which shall be known to Jehovah; not day and not night, but it will be, there will be light at evening time.

gltv@Zechariah:14:8 @ And it shall be in that day, living waters shall go out from Jerusalem, half of them shall go toward the eastern sea, and half of them toward the western sea; in summer and in winter it shall be.

gltv@Zechariah:14:9 @ And Jehovah shall be King over all the earth. In that day there shall be one Jehovah, and His name one.

gltv@Zechariah:14:10 @ All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. And it shall rise and dwell in its place, from Benjamin's Gate to the place of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananeel to the king's winepresses.

gltv@Zechariah:14:11 @ And they shall live in it. And there shall not again be a shutting in, but Jerusalem shall dwell safely.

gltv@Zechariah:14:12 @ And this shall be the plague with which Jehovah will strike all the peoples who have fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will rest in their sockets, and their tongues shall rot in their mouths.

gltv@Zechariah:14:14 @ And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem. And the wealth of the surrounding nations shall be gathered, gold, and silver, and clothing, very much.

gltv@Zechariah:14:16 @ And it shall be, everyone who is left from all the nations which came up against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, Jehovah of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

gltv@Zechariah:14:17 @ And it shall be, whoever will not go up from the families of the earth to Jerusalem to worship the King, Jehovah of hosts, there shall even be no rain on them.

gltv@Zechariah:14:18 @ And if the family of Egypt does not go up, nor come in, then the rain shall not be on them, but the plague with which Jehovah shall strike the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

gltv@Zechariah:14:19 @ This shall be Egypt's offense, and the offense of all nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

gltv@Zechariah:14:20 @ In that day there shall be on the bells of the horses, HOLY TO JEHOVAH. And the pots in the house of Jehovah shall be like the bowls before the altar.

gltv@Zechariah:14:21 @ And every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holy to Jehovah of hosts. And all those who sacrifice shall come and take of them, and boil in them. And in that day there shall not be a trader in the house of Jehovah of hosts any more.

gltv@Malachi:1:2 @ I have loved you, says Jehovah. But you say, In what way have You loved us? Was not Esau the brother to Jacob? Yet Jehovah declares, I loved Jacob,

gltv@Malachi:1:3 @ and I have hated Esau and have made his mountains a desolation, and his inheritance to be for the jackals of the wilderness.

gltv@Malachi:1:4 @ If Edom says, We are beaten down, but we will return and build the ruined places; so says Jehovah of hosts: They shall build, but I will tear down. And they shall call them the region of wickedness, and the people with whom Jehovah is indignant until forever.

gltv@Malachi:1:5 @ And your eyes shall see, and you shall say, Jehovah will be magnified beyond the border of Israel.

gltv@Malachi:1:6 @ A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If then I am a father, where is My honor? And if I am a master, where is My fear? says Jehovah of hosts to you, O priests who despise My name. But you say, In what have we despised Your name?

gltv@Malachi:1:7 @ You are offering defiled food on My altar, and you say, In what have we defiled You? It is in your saying, The table of Jehovah, it is to be despicable.

gltv@Malachi:1:8 @ And if you offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? And if you offer the lame and the sick, is it not evil? Bring it now to your governor. Will he accept you or lift up your face? says Jehovah of hosts.

gltv@Malachi:1:10 @ Who is even among you that will shut the doors, and you not kindle fire on My altar in vain? There is no delight to Me in you, says Jehovah of hosts. I will not be pleased with a food offering from you.

gltv@Malachi:1:11 @ For from the east to the west, My name shall be great among the nations, and everywhere incense shall be offered to My name; and a pure food offering; for My name shall be great among the nations, says Jehovah of hosts.

gltv@Malachi:1:13 @ And you have said, Behold, what weariness! And you have sniffed at it, says Jehovah of hosts. And you bring plunder, and the lame, and the sick; and you bring the meal offering. Should I accept it from your hand? says Jehovah.

gltv@Malachi:1:14 @ But cursed be a deceiver and there is a male in his flock, yet he vows it, but he sacrifices a blemished one to the Lord. For I am a great King, says Jehovah of hosts, and My name is feared among the nations.

gltv@Malachi:2:7 @ For the lips of the priest should guard knowledge, and they should seek the law from his mouth; for he is the messenger of Jehovah of hosts.

gltv@Malachi:2:10 @ Is there not one father to us all? Has not one God created us? Why do we act deceitfully, each man with his brother, to profane the covenant of our fathers?

gltv@Malachi:2:11 @ Judah has dealt treacherously, and has done an abomination in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah has profaned the holy place of Jehovah, which He loves and has married a daughter of a foreign god.

gltv@Malachi:2:12 @ Jehovah will cut off from the tents of Jacob the man who does it, he stirring and answering, or offering a food offering to Jehovah of hosts.

gltv@Malachi:2:13 @ And this is a second thing you have done: covering the altar of Jehovah with tears, with weeping and groaning; yet not facing toward the food offering, and taking it with delight from your hand.

gltv@Malachi:2:14 @ Yet you say, On what cause? Because Jehovah has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously; and she is your companion and your covenant wife.

gltv@Malachi:2:15 @ And has He not made you one? Yet the vestige of the Spirit is in him. And what of the one? He was seeking a seed of God. Then guard your spirit, and do not deal treacherously with the wife of your youth.

gltv@Malachi:2:16 @ Jehovah, the God of Israel, says, He hates sending away, and to cover with violence on his garment, says Jehovah of hosts. Then guard your spirit and do not act treacherously.

gltv@Malachi:2:17 @ You have wearied Jehovah with your words. Yet you say, In what have we wearied Him? When you say, Every evildoer is good in the eyes of Jehovah, and He delights in them; or, Where is the God of justice?

gltv@Malachi:3:1 @ Behold, I am sending My messenger, and He will clear the way before Me. And the Lord whom you are seeking shall suddenly come to His temple, even the Angel of the Covenant, in whom you delight. Behold, He comes, says Jehovah of hosts.

gltv@Malachi:3:2 @ But who can endure the day of His coming? And who will stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire and like fuller's soap.

gltv@Malachi:3:3 @ And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; and He shall purify the sons of Levi and purge them like gold and like silver, that they may be presenters of a food offering in righteousness to Jehovah.

gltv@Malachi:3:4 @ Then the food offering of Judah and Jerusalem shall be pleasing to Jehovah, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

gltv@Malachi:3:5 @ And I will come near to you for judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against those swearing to a lie; and against those who extort from the hired laborer's pay; and turning away the widow, and the fatherless, and the alien, and not fearing Me, says Jehovah of hosts.

gltv@Malachi:3:7 @ From the days of your fathers, you have turned aside from My statutes and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you, says Jehovah of hosts. But you say, In what shall we return?

gltv@Malachi:3:8 @ Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me. But you say, In what have we robbed You? In the tithe and the offering!

gltv@Malachi:3:10 @ Bring all the tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house. And test Me now with this, says Jehovah of hosts, whether I will not open the windows of the heavens for you and pour out a blessing until there is no sufficiency.

gltv@Malachi:3:11 @ And I will rebuke the devourer for you, and he shall not destroy the fruit of your ground against you; nor shall your vine miscarry against you in the field, says Jehovah of hosts.

gltv@Malachi:3:14 @ You have said, It is vain to serve God. And, What profit is it that we have kept His charge, and that we have walked as mourners before Jehovah of hosts?

gltv@Malachi:3:15 @ And now we are calling the arrogant blessed. Not only are the doers of wickedness built up, they also test God, and escape.

gltv@Malachi:3:16 @ Then those fearing Jehovah spoke together, each man to his neighbor. And Jehovah gave attention and heard. And a Book of Remembrance was written before Him for those who feared Jehovah, and for those esteeming His name.

gltv@Malachi:3:17 @ And they shall be Mine, says Jehovah of hosts, for the day that I will make up My treasure. And I will pity them as a man has pity on his son who serves him.

gltv@Malachi:3:18 @ Then you shall again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between him who serves God and him who does not serve Him.

gltv@Malachi:4:1 @ For, behold, the day is coming, burning like a fire pot; and all the proud and every doer of wickedness shall be chaff. And the coming day will set them ablaze, says Jehovah of hosts, which will not leave root or branches to them.

gltv@Malachi:4:3 @ And you shall tread under the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day which I am preparing, says Jehovah of hosts.

gltv@Malachi:4:4 @ Remember the law of My servant Moses which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, the statutes and judgments.

gltv@Malachi:4:6 @ And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the sons, and the heart of the sons to their fathers, that I not come and strike the earth with utter destruction. END OF THE OLD TESTAMENT
