akjv@Lamentations:1:9 @ Her filthiness is in her skirts; she remembers not her last end; therefore she came down wonderfully: she had no comforter. O LORD, behold my affliction: for the enemy has magnified himself.

akjv@Lamentations:2:17 @ The LORD has done that which he had devised; he has fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the days of old: he has thrown down, and has not pitied: and he has caused your enemy to rejoice over you, he has set up the horn of your adversaries.

akjv@Lamentations:4:20 @ The breath of our nostrils, the anointed of the LORD, was taken in their pits, of whom we said, Under his shadow we shall live among the heathen.

akjv@Ezekiel:1:5 @ Also out of the middle thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.

akjv@Ezekiel:1:6 @ And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.

akjv@Ezekiel:1:8 @ And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.

akjv@Ezekiel:1:10 @ As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.

akjv@Ezekiel:1:16 @ The appearance of the wheels and their work was like to the color of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.

akjv@Ezekiel:1:23 @ And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.

akjv@Ezekiel:1:25 @ And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings.

akjv@Ezekiel:1:27 @ And I saw as the color of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.

akjv@Ezekiel:3:6 @ Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words you can not understand. Surely, had I sent you to them, they would have listened to you.

akjv@Ezekiel:8:8 @ Then said he to me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had dig in the wall, behold a door.

akjv@Ezekiel:9:3 @ And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer' inkhorn by his side;

akjv@Ezekiel:9:11 @ And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as you have commanded me.

akjv@Ezekiel:10:6 @ And it came to pass, that when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubim; then he went in, and stood beside the wheels.

akjv@Ezekiel:10:10 @ And as for their appearances, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the middle of a wheel.

akjv@Ezekiel:10:12 @ And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels that they four had.

akjv@Ezekiel:10:14 @ And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

akjv@Ezekiel:10:21 @ Every one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.

akjv@Ezekiel:11:24 @ Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

akjv@Ezekiel:11:25 @ Then I spoke to them of the captivity all the things that the LORD had showed me.

akjv@Ezekiel:16:14 @ And your renown went forth among the heathen for your beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put on you, said the Lord GOD.

akjv@Ezekiel:16:17 @ You have also taken your fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given you, and made to yourself images of men, and did commit prostitution with them,

akjv@Ezekiel:17:3 @ And say, Thus said the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, long winged, full of feathers, which had divers colors, came to Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar:

akjv@Ezekiel:17:18 @ Seeing he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, see, he had given his hand, and has done all these things, he shall not escape.

akjv@Ezekiel:17:23 @ In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell.

akjv@Ezekiel:19:5 @ Now when she saw that she had waited, and her hope was lost, then she took another of her whelps, and made him a young lion.

akjv@Ezekiel:19:11 @ And she had strong rods for the scepters of them that bore rule, and her stature was exalted among the thick branches, and she appeared in her height with the multitude of her branches.

akjv@Ezekiel:20:6 @ In the day that I lifted up my hand to them, to bring them forth of the land of Egypt into a land that I had espied for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands:

akjv@Ezekiel:20:15 @ Yet also I lifted up my hand to them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands;

akjv@Ezekiel:20:24 @ Because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers'idols.

akjv@Ezekiel:20:28 @ For when I had brought them into the land, for the which I lifted up my hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill, and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering: there also they made their sweet smell, and poured out there their drink offerings.

akjv@Ezekiel:23:10 @ These discovered her nakedness: they took her sons and her daughters, and slew her with the sword: and she became famous among women; for they had executed judgment on her.

akjv@Ezekiel:23:19 @ Yet she multiplied her prostitutions, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.

akjv@Ezekiel:23:32 @ Thus said the Lord GOD; You shall drink of your sister' cup deep and large: you shall be laughed to scorn and had in derision; it contains much.

akjv@Ezekiel:23:39 @ For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, see, thus have they done in the middle of my house.

akjv@Ezekiel:26:7 @ For thus said the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring on Tyrus Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, a king of kings, from the north, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and companies, and much people.

akjv@Ezekiel:29:18 @ Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it:

akjv@Ezekiel:29:19 @ Therefore thus said the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt to Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.

akjv@Ezekiel:30:10 @ Thus said the Lord GOD; I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon.

akjv@Ezekiel:31:3 @ Behold, the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs.

akjv@Ezekiel:31:6 @ All the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelled all great nations.

akjv@Ezekiel:31:12 @ And strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: on the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.

akjv@Ezekiel:31:17 @ They also went down into hell with him to them that be slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelled under his shadow in the middle of the heathen.

akjv@Ezekiel:33:15 @ If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.

akjv@Ezekiel:33:21 @ And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, in the fifth day of the month, that one that had escaped out of Jerusalem came to me, saying, The city is smitten.

akjv@Ezekiel:33:22 @ Now the hand of the LORD was on me in the evening, before he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.

akjv@Ezekiel:35:5 @ Because you have had a perpetual hatred, and have shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:

akjv@Ezekiel:36:18 @ Why I poured my fury on them for the blood that they had shed on the land, and for their idols with which they had polluted it:

akjv@Ezekiel:36:21 @ But I had pity for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, where they went.

akjv@Ezekiel:40:10 @ And the little chambers of the gate eastward were three on this side, and three on that side; they three were of one measure: and the posts had one measure on this side and on that side.

akjv@Ezekiel:40:26 @ And there were seven steps to go up to it, and the arches thereof were before them: and it had palm trees, one on this side, and another on that side, on the posts thereof.

akjv@Ezekiel:40:31 @ And the arches thereof were toward the utter court; and palm trees were on the posts thereof: and the going up to it had eight steps.

akjv@Ezekiel:40:34 @ And the arches thereof were toward the outward court; and palm trees were on the posts thereof, on this side, and on that side: and the going up to it had eight steps.

akjv@Ezekiel:40:37 @ And the posts thereof were toward the utter court; and palm trees were on the posts thereof, on this side, and on that side: and the going up to it had eight steps.

akjv@Ezekiel:41:6 @ And the side chambers were three, one over another, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which was of the house for the side chambers round about, that they might have hold, but they had not hold in the wall of the house.

akjv@Ezekiel:41:18 @ And it was made with cherubim and palm trees, so that a palm tree was between a cherub and a cherub; and every cherub had two faces;

akjv@Ezekiel:41:23 @ And the temple and the sanctuary had two doors.

akjv@Ezekiel:41:24 @ And the doors had two leaves apiece, two turning leaves; two leaves for the one door, and two leaves for the other door.

akjv@Ezekiel:42:6 @ For they were in three stories, but had not pillars as the pillars of the courts: therefore the building was straitened more than the lowest and the middlemost from the ground.

akjv@Ezekiel:42:15 @ Now when he had made an end of measuring the inner house, he brought me forth toward the gate whose prospect is toward the east, and measured it round about.

akjv@Ezekiel:42:20 @ He measured it by the four sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred broad, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.

akjv@Ezekiel:44:22 @ Neither shall they take for their wives a widow, nor her that is put away: but they shall take maidens of the seed of the house of Israel, or a widow that had a priest before.

akjv@Ezekiel:44:25 @ And they shall come at no dead person to defile themselves: but for father, or for mother, or for son, or for daughter, for brother, or for sister that has had no husband, they may defile themselves.

akjv@Ezekiel:47:3 @ And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles.

akjv@Ezekiel:47:7 @ Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.

akjv@Daniel:1:1 @ In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon to Jerusalem, and besieged it.

akjv@Daniel:1:4 @ Children in whom was no blemish, but well favored, and skillful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king' palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.

akjv@Daniel:1:7 @ To whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave to Daniel the name of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abednego.

akjv@Daniel:1:9 @ Now God had brought Daniel into favor and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.

akjv@Daniel:1:11 @ Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,

akjv@Daniel:1:17 @ As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

akjv@Daniel:1:18 @ Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.

akjv@Daniel:2:1 @ And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, with which his spirit was troubled, and his sleep broke from him.

akjv@Daniel:2:24 @ Therefore Daniel went in to Arioch, whom the king had ordained to destroy the wise men of Babylon: he went and said thus to him; Destroy not the wise men of Babylon: bring me in before the king, and I will show to the king the interpretation.

akjv@Daniel:2:28 @ But there is a God in heaven that reveals secrets, and makes known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head on your bed, are these;

akjv@Daniel:2:46 @ Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell on his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odors to him.

akjv@Daniel:2:49 @ Then Daniel requested of the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, over the affairs of the province of Babylon: but Daniel sat in the gate of the king.

akjv@Daniel:3:1 @ Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was three score cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.

akjv@Daniel:3:2 @ Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

akjv@Daniel:3:3 @ Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together to the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

akjv@Daniel:3:5 @ That at what time you hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of music, you fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king has set up:

akjv@Daniel:3:7 @ Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of music, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

akjv@Daniel:3:9 @ They spoke and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.

akjv@Daniel:3:12 @ There are certain Jews whom you have set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded you: they serve not your gods, nor worship the golden image which you have set up.

akjv@Daniel:3:13 @ Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.

akjv@Daniel:3:14 @ Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said to them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not you serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?

akjv@Daniel:3:16 @ Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer you in this matter.

akjv@Daniel:3:19 @ Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spoke, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

akjv@Daniel:3:20 @ And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

akjv@Daniel:3:22 @ Therefore because the king' commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flames of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

akjv@Daniel:3:23 @ And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the middle of the burning fiery furnace.

akjv@Daniel:3:24 @ Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spoke, and said to his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the middle of the fire? They answered and said to the king, True, O king.

akjv@Daniel:3:26 @ Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spoke, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you servants of the most high God, come forth, and come here. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the middle of the fire.

akjv@Daniel:3:27 @ And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king' counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, on whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

akjv@Daniel:3:28 @ Then Nebuchadnezzar spoke, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king' word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

akjv@Daniel:3:29 @ Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.

akjv@Daniel:3:30 @ Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.

akjv@Daniel:4:1 @ Nebuchadnezzar the king, to all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied to you.

akjv@Daniel:4:4 @ I Nebuchadnezzar was at rest in my house, and flourishing in my palace:

akjv@Daniel:4:12 @ The leaves thereof were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelled in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it.

akjv@Daniel:4:18 @ This dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now you, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof, for as much as all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known to me the interpretation: but you are able; for the spirit of the holy gods is in you.

akjv@Daniel:4:21 @ Whose leaves were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all; under which the beasts of the field dwelled, and on whose branches the fowls of the heaven had their habitation:

akjv@Daniel:4:28 @ All this came on the king Nebuchadnezzar.

akjv@Daniel:4:31 @ While the word was in the king' mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from you.

akjv@Daniel:4:33 @ The same hour was the thing fulfilled on Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles'feathers, and his nails like birds'claws.

akjv@Daniel:4:34 @ And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honored him that lives for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:

akjv@Daniel:4:37 @ Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.

akjv@Daniel:5:2 @ Belshazzar, whiles he tasted the wine, commanded to bring the golden and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple which was in Jerusalem; that the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, might drink therein.

akjv@Daniel:5:11 @ There is a man in your kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of your father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar your father, the king, I say, your father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;

akjv@Daniel:5:18 @ O you king, the most high God gave Nebuchadnezzar your father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honor:

akjv@Daniel:6:24 @ And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and broke all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.

akjv@Daniel:7:1 @ In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head on his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.

akjv@Daniel:7:4 @ The first was like a lion, and had eagle' wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand on the feet as a man, and a man' heart was given to it.

akjv@Daniel:7:5 @ And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus to it, Arise, devour much flesh.

akjv@Daniel:7:6 @ After this I beheld, and see another, like a leopard, which had on the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.

akjv@Daniel:7:7 @ After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

akjv@Daniel:7:12 @ As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

akjv@Daniel:7:20 @ And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spoke very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.

akjv@Daniel:8:3 @ Then I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.

akjv@Daniel:8:5 @ And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.

akjv@Daniel:8:6 @ And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran to him in the fury of his power.

akjv@Daniel:8:15 @ And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.

akjv@Daniel:9:21 @ Yes, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.

akjv@Daniel:10:1 @ In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed to Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.

akjv@Daniel:10:11 @ And he said to me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright: for to you am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood trembling.

akjv@Daniel:10:15 @ And when he had spoken such words to me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.

akjv@Daniel:10:19 @ And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be to you, be strong, yes, be strong. And when he had spoken to me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for you have strengthened me.
