gltv@Jeremiah:19:3 @ And say, Hear the word of Jehovah, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem. So says Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will bring evil on this place by which all who hear it will have tingling ears.

gltv@Jeremiah:19:4 @ Because they have forsaken Me, and have made this place known, and have burned incense in it to other gods whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents.

gltv@Jeremiah:19:13 @ And the houses of Jerusalem and the houses of the kings of Judah shall be defiled as the place of Tophet, because of all the roofs of the houses on which they have burned incense to all the host of the heavens, and have poured out drink offerings to other gods.

gltv@Jeremiah:20:4 @ For so says Jehovah, Behold, I will make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends. And they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and your eyes shall see. And I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall exile them into Babylon and kill them with the sword.

gltv@Jeremiah:20:5 @ And I will give all the wealth of this city, and all its produce, and all its precious things, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah, even I will give them into the hand of their enemies who will strip them and take them, and carry them to Babylon.

gltv@Jeremiah:20:15 @ Cursed is the man who brought news to my father, saying, A man child is born to you, making him very glad.

gltv@Jeremiah:21:1 @ The word which was to from Jehovah, when king Zedekiah sent Pashur the son of Melchiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest to him, saying,

gltv@Jeremiah:21:2 @ I beg you, inquire of Jehovah for us. For Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon is warring against us. Perhaps Jehovah will deal with us according to all His wonderful works, that he may go up from us.

gltv@Jeremiah:21:4 @ So says Jehovah, the God of Israel: Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war in your hand, with which you fight against the king of Babylon, and against the Chaldeans who besiege you outside the wall. And I will gather them together in the middle of the city.

gltv@Jeremiah:21:7 @ And afterward, says Jehovah, I will deliver Zedekiah king of Judah, and his servants, and the people, and those who remain in this city from the plague, from the sword, and from the famine, into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those who seek their life. And he shall strike them with the mouth of the sword; he shall not spare them, nor have pity, nor have compassion.

gltv@Jeremiah:21:10 @ For I have set My face against this city for evil, and not for good, says Jehovah. It shall be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.

gltv@Jeremiah:21:11 @ And concerning the house of the king of Judah, say, Hear the word of Jehovah,

gltv@Jeremiah:22:1 @ So says Jehovah, Go down to the house of the king of Judah and speak this word there,

gltv@Jeremiah:22:2 @ and say, Hear the word of Jehovah, O king of Judah who sits on the throne of David, you and your servants, and your people who enter in by these gates.

gltv@Jeremiah:22:4 @ For if you indeed do this thing, then there shall enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting on the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, he and his servants and his people.

gltv@Jeremiah:22:6 @ For so says Jehovah concerning the king of Judah's house, You are Gilead to Me, the head of Lebanon; yet surely I will make you a wilderness, cities not inhabited.

gltv@Jeremiah:22:11 @ For so says Jehovah concerning Shallum the son of Josiah, king of Judah, who reigned in his father Josiah's place, who went forth from this place. He shall not return there any more.

gltv@Jeremiah:22:18 @ So Jehovah says this concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, They shall not mourn for him, saying, Ah, my brother! Or, Ah, sister! They shall not mourn for him, saying, Ah, lord! Or, Ah, his glory!

gltv@Jeremiah:22:24 @ As I live, says Jehovah, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah were the signet on My right hand, yet I would tear you out of there!

gltv@Jeremiah:22:25 @ And I will give you into the hand of those who seek your life, and into the hand of those whose face you fear, even into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans.

gltv@Jeremiah:23:5 @ Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will raise to David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and act wisely, and shall do justice and righteousness in the earth.

gltv@Jeremiah:24:1 @ Jehovah made me see, and, behold, two baskets of figs set before the temple of Jehovah, after Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had exiled Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and the rulers of Judah, and the craftsmen, and the smiths from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.

gltv@Jeremiah:24:8 @ And like the bad figs which cannot be eaten from badness, so says Jehovah: So I shall make Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his rulers, and the remnant of Jerusalem who remain in this land, and those who dwell in the land of Egypt;

gltv@Jeremiah:24:9 @ I will even make them a horror among all the kingdoms of the earth for evil, for a reproach, and a proverb, a gibe, and a curse, there in all places where I will drive them.

gltv@Jeremiah:25:1 @ The word that was to concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah. It was the first year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.

gltv@Jeremiah:25:3 @ From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, even to this day, this twenty three years, the word of Jehovah has come to me, and I have spoken to you, rising up early and speaking; but you have not listened.

gltv@Jeremiah:25:9 @ behold! I will send and take all the families of the north, says Jehovah, and Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, My servant; and I will bring them against this land, and against its inhabitants, and against all these nations all around. And I will completely destroy them, and make them a horror, and a hissing, and everlasting ruins.

gltv@Jeremiah:25:11 @ And this whole land shall be a waste and a horror; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.

gltv@Jeremiah:25:12 @ And it shall be, when seventy years are fulfilled, I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, and the land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity, says Jehovah; and I will make it everlasting ruins.

gltv@Jeremiah:25:14 @ For many nations and great kings will lay service on them, even they. And I will repay them according to their deeds, and according to the work of their own hands.

gltv@Jeremiah:25:18 @ Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and their kings, and their rulers, to make them a ruin, a horror, a hissing, and a curse, as it is this day;

gltv@Jeremiah:25:19 @ Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and his servants, and his rulers, and all his people;

gltv@Jeremiah:25:20 @ and all the mixed people, and all the kings of the land of Uz, and all the kings of the land of the Philistines, and Askelon, and Gaza, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod,

gltv@Jeremiah:25:22 @ and all the kings of Tyre, and all the kings of Sidon, and the coastal kings beyond the sea,

gltv@Jeremiah:25:24 @ and all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mixed people who dwell in the desert,

gltv@Jeremiah:25:25 @ and all the kings of Zimri, and all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of Media,

gltv@Jeremiah:25:26 @ and all the kings of the north, far and near, each one to his brother, and all the kingdoms of the world which are on the face of the earth; and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them.

gltv@Jeremiah:26:1 @ In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, this word came from Jehovah, saying,

gltv@Jeremiah:26:7 @ And the priests and the prophets and all the people heard speaking these words in the house of Jehovah.

gltv@Jeremiah:26:8 @ And it happened when had made an end of speaking all that Jehovah had commanded him to speak to all the people, the priests and the prophets and all the people seized him, saying, You shall surely die.

gltv@Jeremiah:26:10 @ When the rulers of Judah heard these things, then they came up from the king's house to the house of Jehovah and sat down in the entrance of the New Gate of Jehovah.

gltv@Jeremiah:26:18 @ Micah of Moresheth prophesied in the days of Hezekiah, king of Judah. And he spoke to all the people of Judah, saying, So says Jehovah of Hosts: Zion shall be plowed like a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house like the high places of a forest.

gltv@Jeremiah:26:19 @ Did Hezekiah, king of Judah and all Judah indeed put him to death? Did he not fear Jehovah and entreat the face of Jehovah? And did not Jehovah repent of the evil which He had spoken against them? So we are doing great evil against our souls.

gltv@Jeremiah:26:21 @ And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the rulers, heard his words, the king tried to put him to death. But Urijah heard, and he was afraid, and fled, and went to Egypt.

gltv@Jeremiah:26:22 @ And Jehoiakim the king sent men to Egypt, Elnathan the son of Achbor, and men with him into Egypt.

gltv@Jeremiah:26:23 @ And they brought Urijah out of Egypt and brought him to Jehoiakim the king, who struck him with the sword, and threw his dead body into the graves of the sons of the people.

gltv@Jeremiah:27:1 @ In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, this word came to from Jehovah, saying,

gltv@Jeremiah:27:3 @ And send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the sons of Ammon, and to the king of Tyre, and to the king of Sidon, by the hand of the messengers who came to Jerusalem to Zedekiah, king of Judah.

gltv@Jeremiah:27:6 @ And now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, My servant. And I have also given him the beast of the field to serve him.

gltv@Jeremiah:27:7 @ And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the time of his own land comes, and his time. And many nations and great kings shall enslave him.

gltv@Jeremiah:27:8 @ And it shall be, the nation and kingdom which will not serve him, Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put its neck in the yoke of the king of Babylon, I will punish that nation, says Jehovah, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the plague, until I have destroyed them by his hand.

gltv@Jeremiah:27:9 @ As for you, do not listen to your prophets, or to your fortune tellers, or to your dreams, or to your conjurers, or to your sorcerers, those who speak to you, saying, You shall not serve the king of Babylon.

gltv@Jeremiah:27:11 @ But the nation that will bring its neck into the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, I will leave it on its own land, says Jehovah; and it will till it and live in it.

gltv@Jeremiah:27:12 @ I also spoke to Zedekiah, king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks into the king of Babylon's yoke, and serve him and his people, and live.

gltv@Jeremiah:27:13 @ Why will you die, you and your people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the plague, as Jehovah has spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?

gltv@Jeremiah:27:14 @ So then do not listen to the words of the prophets who speak to you, saying, You shall not serve the king of Babylon, for they prophesy a lie to you.

gltv@Jeremiah:27:17 @ Do not listen to them. Serve the king of Babylon and live. Why should this city be a waste?

gltv@Jeremiah:27:18 @ But if they are prophets, and if the word of Jehovah is with them, let them now intercede with Jehovah of Hosts that the vessels which are left in the house of Jehovah, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, may not go to Babylon

gltv@Jeremiah:27:20 @ which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon did not take when he exiled Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem.

gltv@Jeremiah:27:21 @ For so says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that remain in the house of Jehovah, and the house of the king of Judah, and Jerusalem:

gltv@Jeremiah:28:1 @ And it happened in that year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah, king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, of Gibeon, spoke to me in the house of Jehovah, for the eyes of the priests and all the people, saying,

gltv@Jeremiah:28:2 @ So says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.

gltv@Jeremiah:28:3 @ Within two years I will again bring into this place all the vessels of the house of Jehovah which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place and carried them to Babylon.

gltv@Jeremiah:28:4 @ And I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, with all the exiles of Judah who went into Babylon, says Jehovah. For I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.

gltv@Jeremiah:28:8 @ The prophets who have been before me and before you from antiquity prophesied against many lands and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of plague.

gltv@Jeremiah:28:11 @ And Hananiah spoke for the eyes of the people saying, So says Jehovah, Even so I will break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the time of two years. And the prophet went his way.

gltv@Jeremiah:28:14 @ For so says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel: I have put a yoke of iron on the neck of all these nations to serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. And they shall serve him. And I have given him the beasts of the field also.

gltv@Jeremiah:29:2 @ after Jeconiah the king, and the queen mother, and the eunuchs, the rulers of Judah and Jerusalem, and the craftsmen, and the smiths, had gone out from Jerusalem.

gltv@Jeremiah:29:3 @ He sent by the hand of Elasah the son of Shaphan, and Gemariah the son of Hilkiah, whom Zedekiah, king of Judah, sent to Babylon to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, saying,

gltv@Jeremiah:29:16 @ for so says Jehovah to the king who sits on the throne of David, and to all the people who live in this city, your brothers who have not gone out with you into exile,

gltv@Jeremiah:29:18 @ And I will pursue them with the sword, with the famine, and with the plague. And I will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and a terror, and a hissing, and a reproach among all the nations, there where I have driven them.

gltv@Jeremiah:29:21 @ So says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel concerning Ahab the son of Kolaiah, and concerning Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, who prophesy a lie to you in My name: Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he shall strike them before your eyes.

gltv@Jeremiah:29:22 @ And a curse shall be taken up from them for all the exiles of Judah who are in Babylon, saying, May Jehovah make you like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire,

gltv@Jeremiah:30:9 @ but they shall serve Jehovah their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up to them.

gltv@Jeremiah:30:17 @ For I will give health back to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Jehovah, because they called you, Outcast; saying, This is Zion; no one is seeking for her.

gltv@Jeremiah:31:4 @ Again I will build you, and you shall be built again, O virgin of Israel. You will again put on your tambourines and go forth in the dance of those making merry.

gltv@Jeremiah:32:1 @ The word which came to from Jehovah in the tenth year of Zedekiah, king of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar.

gltv@Jeremiah:32:2 @ For then the king of Babylon's army was besieging Jerusalem. And the prophet was shut in the court of the guard, which was in the king of Judah's house.

gltv@Jeremiah:32:3 @ For Zedekiah, king of Judah, had shut him up, saying, Why do you prophesy and say, So says Jehovah, Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he will take it.

gltv@Jeremiah:32:4 @ And Zedekiah, king of Judah, shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, but shall surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he will speak with him mouth to mouth, and will see his eyes with his eyes.

gltv@Jeremiah:32:28 @ So Jehovah says this: Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, and he shall take it.

gltv@Jeremiah:32:32 @ because of all the evil of the sons of Israel and of the sons of Judah which they have done to provoke Me to anger, they, their kings, their rulers, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

gltv@Jeremiah:32:36 @ And so now Jehovah, God of Israel, says this concerning this city, of which you say, It is given into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the plague;

gltv@Jeremiah:32:42 @ For so says Jehovah: As I have brought this great evil on this people, so I will bring on them all the good that I am speaking to them.

gltv@Jeremiah:33:4 @ For so says Jehovah, the God of Israel, Concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are torn down to defend against the siege mounds, and against the sword,

gltv@Jeremiah:34:1 @ The word which was to from Jehovah when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth (because his hand rules), and all the peoples fought against Jerusalem, and against all its cities, saying,

gltv@Jeremiah:34:2 @ So says Jehovah, the God of Israel: Go and speak to Zedekiah, king of Judah, and tell him, So says Jehovah, Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he will burn it with fire.

gltv@Jeremiah:34:3 @ And you shall not escape out of his hand, but shall surely be captured and delivered into his hand. And your eyes shall behold the eyes of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak, his mouth with your mouth; and you shall go to Babylon.

gltv@Jeremiah:34:4 @ Yet hear the word of Jehovah, O Zedekiah, king of Judah: So says Jehovah concerning you, You shall not die by the sword.

gltv@Jeremiah:34:5 @ You shall die in peace. And as the burnings of spices for your fathers, the former kings who were before you, so they shall burn spices for you, saying, Ah, lord! They will wail for you. For I have spoken the word, says Jehovah.

gltv@Jeremiah:34:6 @ And the prophet spoke all these words to Zedekiah, king of Judah, in Jerusalem,

gltv@Jeremiah:34:7 @ when the king of Babylon's army fought against Jerusalem and against all the cities of Judah that remained; against Lachish, and against Azekah; for these fortified cities remained of the cities of Judah.

gltv@Jeremiah:34:8 @ The word that was to from Jehovah after king Zedekiah had cut a covenant with all the people in Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty to them,

gltv@Jeremiah:34:17 @ So Jehovah says this: You have not listened to Me, to call for liberty, each man to his brother, and each man to his neighbor. Behold, I call for freedom to you, says Jehovah: to the sword, to the plague, and to the famine. And I will cause you to be a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth.

gltv@Jeremiah:34:20 @ I will even give them into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those seeking their life. And their dead bodies shall be for food to the birds of the heavens, and to the beasts of the earth.

gltv@Jeremiah:34:21 @ And I will give Zedekiah, king of Judah, and his rulers, into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those seeking their life, even into the hand of the king of Babylon's army that has withdrawn from you.

gltv@Jeremiah:35:1 @ The word which was to from Jehovah in the days of Jehoiakim, the son of Josiah, king of Judah, saying,

gltv@Jeremiah:35:11 @ But it happened when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against the land, then we said, Come, and let us go to Jerusalem, because of the army of the Chaldeans and because of the army of the Syrians. And we live in Jerusalem.

gltv@Jeremiah:35:14 @ The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab are done, in which he commanded his sons not to drink wine. And to this day they do not drink, but obey their father's command. But I have spoken to you, rising early and speaking; and you did not listen to Me.

gltv@Jeremiah:36:1 @ And it happened in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, this word was to from Jehovah, saying,

gltv@Jeremiah:36:9 @ And it happened in the fifth year of Jehoiakim, the son of Josiah, king of Judah, in the ninth month, they called a fast before Jehovah, to all the people of Jerusalem, and to all the people who came from the cities of Judah to Jerusalem.

gltv@Jeremiah:36:12 @ then he went down into the king's house, into the scribe's room. And, behold, all the rulers were sitting there, Elishama the scribe, and Delaiah the son of Shemaiah, and Elnathan the son of Achbor, and Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, and Zedekiah, the son of Hananiah, and all the rulers.

gltv@Jeremiah:36:16 @ And it happened, when they had heard all the words, they turned each man to his companion in fear. And they said to Baruch, We will surely tell all these words to the king.

gltv@Jeremiah:36:20 @ And they went in to the king, into the court. But they laid up the roll in the room of Elishama the scribe. And they told all the words in the ear of the king.

gltv@Jeremiah:36:21 @ And the king sent Jehudi to take the roll. And he took it out of the room of Elishama the scribe. And Jehudi read it in the king's ears, and in the ears of all the rulers who stood beside the king.

gltv@Jeremiah:36:22 @ And the king was sitting in the winter house in the ninth month, and with the burning fire pan before him.

gltv@Jeremiah:36:24 @ Yet the king and all his servants who heard these words were not afraid, nor did they tear their garments.

gltv@Jeremiah:36:25 @ But Elnathan, and Delaiah, and Gemariah had pleaded with the king that he should not burn the roll, but he would not listen to them.

gltv@Jeremiah:36:26 @ And the king commanded Jerahmeel, the son of Hammelech, and Seraiah, the son of Azriel, and Shelemiah, the son of Abdeel, to seize Baruch the scribe and the prophet. But Jehovah hid them.

gltv@Jeremiah:36:27 @ Then the word of Jehovah was to Jeremiah, after the king had burned the roll and the words which Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah, saying,

gltv@Jeremiah:36:28 @ Take for yourself another roll, and write on it all the former words that were in the first roll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah has burned.

gltv@Jeremiah:36:29 @ And you shall say to Jehoiakim the king of Judah, So says Jehovah, You have burned this roll, saying, Why have you written on it, saying, The king of Babylon shall surely come and destroy this land, and shall cause man and beast to cease from there?

gltv@Jeremiah:36:30 @ Therefore, so says Jehovah of Jehoiakim, king of Judah: There shall not be one to him to sit on the throne of David, and his dead body shall be cast out in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost.

gltv@Jeremiah:36:32 @ Then took another roll and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah, who wrote in it from the mouth of Jeremiah, all the words of the book which Jehoiakim, king of Judah, had burned in the fire. And many words like them were added to them.

gltv@Jeremiah:37:1 @ And king Zedekiah, the son of Josiah, reigned instead of Coniah the son of Jehoiakim, whom Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, made king in the land of Judah.

gltv@Jeremiah:37:3 @ And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal, the son of Shelemiah and Zephaniah, the son of Maaseiah the priest, to the prophet, saying, Pray now for us to Jehovah our God.

gltv@Jeremiah:37:7 @ So says Jehovah, the God of Israel, You shall say this to the king of Judah who sent you to Me to inquire of Me: Behold, Pharaoh's army, which has come out to help you, shall return to Egypt into their own land.

gltv@Jeremiah:37:17 @ And Zedekiah the king sent and took him out. And the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there word from Jehovah? And said, There is. For He said, You shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.

gltv@Jeremiah:37:18 @ And said to king Zedekiah, What have I sinned against you, or against your servants, or against this people, that you have put me into the prison house?

gltv@Jeremiah:37:19 @ Where now are your prophets who prophesied to you, saying, The king of Babylon shall not come against you, or against this land?

gltv@Jeremiah:37:20 @ And now hear, I beg you, O my lord the king, please let my plea fall before you, so that you do not make me return to the house of Jonathan the scribe, that I not die there.

gltv@Jeremiah:37:21 @ And Zedekiah the king commanded, and they committed into the court of the guardhouse, and that they should give him a piece of bread out of the baker's street daily, until all the bread of the city was gone. And remained in the court of the guardhouse.

gltv@Jeremiah:38:3 @ So says Jehovah, This city shall surely be given into the hand of the king of Babylon's army, and he shall capture it.

gltv@Jeremiah:38:4 @ And the rulers said to the king, Please let this man be put to death. For in this way he weakens the hands of the men of war who remain in this city, and the hands of all the people, in speaking these words to them. For this man does not seek the peace of this people, but the evil.

gltv@Jeremiah:38:5 @ And Zedekiah the king said, Behold, he is in your hand. For. the king cannot do anything against you.

gltv@Jeremiah:38:6 @ And they took and threw him into the pit of Malchiah, the king's son, which was in the court of the guardhouse. And they let down with ropes. But no water was in the pit, only mud. So sank into the mud.

gltv@Jeremiah:38:7 @ And Ebed-melech the Ethiopian man, of the eunuchs in the king's house, heard that they had put into the pit (the king then sitting in the gate of Benjamin).

gltv@Jeremiah:38:8 @ Ebed-melech went out of the king's house and spoke to the king, saying,

gltv@Jeremiah:38:9 @ My lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to the prophet, whom they have thrown into the pit. And he has died in his place because of the famine, for there is no more food in the city.

gltv@Jeremiah:38:10 @ And the king commanded Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, saying, Take in your hand thirty men from here and lift the prophet out of the pit before he dies.

gltv@Jeremiah:38:11 @ And Ebed-melech took the men in his hand and went into the king's house, to under the treasury. And he took worn out clothes and worn out rags from there. And he let them down by ropes into the pit to Jeremiah.

gltv@Jeremiah:38:14 @ And Zedekiah the king sent and took the prophet to him, into the third entrance in the house of Jehovah. And the king said to Jeremiah, I will ask you a thing; do not hide a thing from me.

gltv@Jeremiah:38:16 @ And Zedekiah the king swore secretly to Jeremiah, saying, As Jehovah lives, who made us this soul, I will not put you to death, nor will I give you into the hand of these men who seek your life.

gltv@Jeremiah:38:17 @ And said to Zedekiah, So says Jehovah, the God of Hosts, the God of Israel: If going out you will go out to the rulers of the king of Babylon, then your soul shall live, and this city shall not be burned with fire. And you and your house shall live.

gltv@Jeremiah:38:18 @ But if you will not go out to the rulers of the king of Babylon, even this city shall be given into the hands of the Chaldeans, and they will burn it with fire. And you shall not escape out of their hand.

gltv@Jeremiah:38:19 @ And Zedekiah the king said to Jeremiah, I am afraid of the Jews who have fallen to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me to their hand and they abuse me.

gltv@Jeremiah:38:20 @ And said, They will not give. Please obey the voice of Jehovah which I am speaking to you, and it will be well with you and your soul will live.

gltv@Jeremiah:38:22 @ Even, behold, all the women who are left in the house of the king of Judah shall be brought out to the rulers of the king of Babylon. And they will say, The men of your peace have seduced you and have prevailed against you; your feet have sunk in the mire, and they turned back.

gltv@Jeremiah:38:23 @ And they shall bring out all your wives and your sons to the Chaldeans. And you shall not escape out of their hand, but shall be seized by the hand of the king of Babylon. And this city shall be burned with fire.

gltv@Jeremiah:38:25 @ But if the rulers hear that I have talked with you, and they come to you and say to you, Now tell us what you said to the king; do not hide it from us and we will not put you to death; also, What did the king say to you?

gltv@Jeremiah:38:26 @ Then you shall say to them, I was presenting my plea before the king, that he should not return me to the house of Jonathan, to die there.

gltv@Jeremiah:38:27 @ And all the rulers came to and asked him. And he told them according to all these words that the king had ordered. And they were silent with him, for the matter was not heard.

gltv@Jeremiah:39:4 @ And it happened when Zedekiah, king of Judah and all the men of war saw them, they fled and went out from the city by night, the way of the king's garden, by the gate between the two walls. And he went the way of the Arabah.

gltv@Jeremiah:39:5 @ But the Chaldean army pursued them and overtook Zedekiah in the Arabah of Jericho. And they took him and brought him up to Nebu-chadnezzar king of Babylon, to Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he spoke judgment on him.

gltv@Jeremiah:39:6 @ And the king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes at Riblah. Also the king of Babylon slaughtered all the rulers of Judah.

gltv@Jeremiah:39:8 @ And the Chaldeans burned the king's house and the house of the people with fire. And they broke down the walls of Jerusalem.

gltv@Jeremiah:39:11 @ And Nebu-chadnezzar king of Babylon commanded concerning by the hand of Nebu-zaradan the chief of the executioners, saying:

gltv@Jeremiah:39:13 @ And Nebu-zaradan, the chief of the executioners, and Nebu-shasban the chief of the eunuchs, and Nergal-sharezer, chief soothsayer, and all the rulers of the king of Babylon, sent,

gltv@Jeremiah:40:5 @ even while he had not yet returned, or go back to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has appointed over the cities of Judah, and live with him among the people. Or to all that is right in your eyes to go, go. And the chief of the executioners gave him ration and a reward, and sent him away.

gltv@Jeremiah:40:7 @ And when all the commanders of the army who were in the field, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had appointed Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, over the land, and had appointed with him men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of those who were not exiled to Babylon,

gltv@Jeremiah:40:9 @ And Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, swore to them and to their men, saying, Do not fear to serve the Chaldeans. Live in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.

gltv@Jeremiah:40:14 @ And they said to him, You certainly know that Baalis, the king of the sons of Ammon, has sent Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, to strike your soul. But Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, did not believe them.

gltv@Jeremiah:41:6 @ And Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, went out from Mizpah to meet them, walking as he walked and weeping. And it happened, as he met them, he said to them, Come to Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam.

gltv@Jeremiah:41:9 @ And the pit there in which Ishmael had thrown all the dead bodies of the men, whom he had struck because of Gedaliah, was the one which Asa the king had made from the face of Baasha, king of Israel. Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, filled it with the slain.

gltv@Jeremiah:41:10 @ And Ishmael took captive all the rest of the people who were in Mizpah, the king's daughters, and all the people who stayed in Mizpah, whom Nebu-zaradan, the chief of the executioners, had entrusted to Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam. gltv@Jeremiah:43:10 @ And say to them, So says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel, Behold I will send and take Nebu-chadnezzar, the king of Babylon, My servant, and will set his throne on these stones that I have hidden. And he shall spread his royal pavilion over them.

gltv@Jeremiah:44:3 @ because of the evil which they have done, by provoking Me to anger, by going to burn incense, by serving other gods that they did not know, they, you nor your fathers.

gltv@Jeremiah:44:9 @ Have you forgotten the evilness of your fathers, and the evilness of the kings of Judah, and the evilness of his wives, and your own evilness, and the evilness of your wives, which they have done in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

gltv@Jeremiah:44:17 @ But we will certainly do whatever thing goes out of our own mouth, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings to her, as we have done, we and our fathers, our kings, and our rulers, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. And we had plenty of food, and were well, and saw no evil.

gltv@Jeremiah:44:21 @ The incense that you burned in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, you, and your fathers, your kings, and your rulers, and the people of the land, did not Jehovah remember them? Yea, it came into His heart.

gltv@Jeremiah:44:30 @ So says Jehovah, Behold, I am giving Pharaoh-hophra, king of Egypt, into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of those who seek his soul, even as I gave Zedekiah, king of Judah, into the hand of Nebu-chadnezzar, the king of Babylon, his enemy that sought his soul.

gltv@Jeremiah:49:28 @ So says Jehovah concerning Kedar, and concerning the kingdoms of Hazor which Nebu-chadnezzar, the king of Babylon, struck: Rise up, go up to Kedar, and strip the sons of the east.

gltv@Jeremiah:49:30 @ Flee, go far away, go deep to dwell, O inhabitants of Hazor, declares Jehovah. For Nebu-chadnezzar, the king of Babylon, has taken counsel against you, and has plotted a scheme against you.

gltv@Jeremiah:49:34 @ The word of Jehovah that came to the prophet against Elam in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah, king of Judah, saying,

gltv@Jeremiah:49:38 @ And I will set My throne in Elam, and I will destroy the king and the rulers from there, declares Jehovah.

gltv@Jeremiah:50:17 @ Israel is a scattered sheep, driven away by lions. First, the king of Assyria devoured him. And last, this king Nebu-chadnezzar of Babylon crunched him.

gltv@Jeremiah:51:11 @ Purify the arrows, fill the shields; Jehovah has aroused the spirit of the kings of the Medes. For His plan is against Babylon, to destroy it, because it is the vengeance of Jehovah, the vengeance of His temple.

gltv@Jeremiah:51:20 @ You are My war club and weapons of war, for with you I will shatter nations and with you I will destroy kingdoms.

gltv@Jeremiah:51:27 @ Set up a banner in the land. Blow a trumpet among the nations; consecrate nations against her. Make hear the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashkenaz together against her, set a marshal against her. Cause the horses to come up like rough locusts.

gltv@Jeremiah:52:4 @ And in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, king Nebu-chadnezzar of Babylon came, he and all his army against Jerusalem, and pitched against it, and built a siege wall against it all around.

gltv@Jeremiah:52:5 @ And the city came under siege until the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.

gltv@Jeremiah:52:7 @ Then the city was breached, and all the men of war fled, and went out of the city by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king's garden. And the Chaldeans lay all around the city. And they went by the way of the Arabah.

gltv@Lamentations:2:2 @ The Lord swallowed up all of Jacob's dwelling-places, and did not pity. In His wrath He has thrown down the strongholds of the daughter of Judah. He made them touch to the earth. He has defiled the kingdom and its rulers.

gltv@Lamentations:2:6 @ And He violated his booth like a garden and destroyed his meeting-places. Jehovah made meeting-places and sabbaths forgotten in Zion, and He rejected king and priest in the fury of His anger.

gltv@Lamentations:2:9 @ Her gates have sunk in the ground; He has dispersed and shattered her bars. Her kings and her rulers are among the nations. The law is not. Also her prophets have not found a vision from Jehovah.

gltv@Lamentations:3:25 @ Jehovah is good to those waiting on Him, to the soul seeking Him.

gltv@Lamentations:3:37 @ Who is this speaking, and it happens when the Lord does not command it?

gltv@Lamentations:4:4 @ The tongue of the nursling cleaves to his palate in thirst. The young children ask bread, but there is no breaking for them.

gltv@Lamentations:4:12 @ The kings of the earth and all the world's inhabitants would not have believed that the foe and the hater would go into the gates of Jerusalem.

gltv@Ezekiel:1:2 @ On the fifth of the month, the fifth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin the king,

gltv@Ezekiel:1:27 @ And I saw Him, like the color of polished bronze, looking like fire within it all around. From the appearance of His loins and upward, and from the appearance of His loins and downward, I saw Him looking like fire; and brightness to it all around.

gltv@Ezekiel:1:28 @ As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of the rain, so appeared the brightness all around. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of Jehovah. And I saw, and I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking.

gltv@Ezekiel:2:2 @ And the Spirit entered into me as He spoke to me, and He made me stand on my feet, and I heard Him speaking to me.

gltv@Ezekiel:3:27 @ But in My speaking with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah. He who hears, let him hear; and he who stops, let him stop. For they are a rebellious house.

gltv@Ezekiel:4:16 @ And He said to me, Son of man, behold, I am breaking the staff of bread in Jerusalem. And they shall eat bread by weight, and with anxiety. And they shall drink water by measure, and in horror,

gltv@Ezekiel:7:27 @ The king shall mourn, and the ruler shall be clothed with despair. And the hands of the people of the land shall be terrified. According to their way, I will do to them, and according to their judgments, I will judge them. And they shall know that I am Jehovah.

gltv@Ezekiel:12:18 @ Son of man, eat your bread with quaking, and drink your water with trembling and with anxiety.

gltv@Ezekiel:16:59 @ For so says the Lord Jehovah: I will even deal with you as you have done, who have despised the oath in breaking the covenant.

gltv@Ezekiel:17:12 @ Say now to the rebellious house, Do you not know what these mean? But speak, Behold, the king of Babylon has come to Jerusalem, and has taken its king and its rulers, and has brought them to himself at Babylon.

gltv@Ezekiel:17:14 @ that the kingdom might be low, that it might not lift itself up to keep its covenant, that it might stand.

gltv@Ezekiel:17:16 @ As I live, declares the Lord Jehovah, Surely, in the place of the king who made him king, whose oath he despised and whose covenant he broke, there he shall die with him in the midst of Babylon.

gltv@Ezekiel:17:18 @ And he has despised the oath by breaking the covenant. And, behold, he had given his hand, and he has done all these things.

gltv@Ezekiel:19:9 @ And they put him in a cage in chains and brought him to the king of Babylon. They brought him into hunting nets so that his voice should not any longer be heard on the mountains of Israel.

gltv@Ezekiel:20:26 @ And I defiled them by their own gifts, by making all that open the womb to cross the fire, so that I might waste them, to the end that they might know that I am Jehovah.

gltv@Ezekiel:20:28 @ When I had brought them into the land for which I lifted up My hand, to give it to them, then they saw every high hill and every leafy tree; and they offered their sacrifices there. And they have their provoking offering there. They also made their soothing aroma there and poured out their drink offerings there.

gltv@Ezekiel:21:6 @ And you, son of man, groan with the breaking of your loins, and groan with bitterness before their eyes.

gltv@Ezekiel:21:19 @ And you, son of man, set for yourself two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come. Both of them shall come out from one land. And create a hand at the head of the way to the city, create it.

gltv@Ezekiel:21:21 @ For the king of Babylon shall stand at the mother of the way, at the head of the two ways to practice divination. He shall shake arrows, he shall ask household idols; he shall look at the liver.

gltv@Ezekiel:22:4 @ By your blood which you have shed, you are guilty; and by your idols which you have made, you are defiled. And your days are brought near, and you have come to your years. On account of this, I have made you a reproach to the nations, and a mocking to all the lands.

gltv@Ezekiel:24:2 @ Son of man, write for yourself the name of the day, this very day. The king of Babylon has leaned toward Jerusalem in this very day.

gltv@Ezekiel:24:16 @ Son of man, behold, I am taking from you the desire of your eyes with a blow. Yet you shall not wail nor weep, and your tears shall not come.

gltv@Ezekiel:25:12 @ So says the Lord Jehovah: Because Edom has acted by taking vengeance against the house of Judah, and they are very guilty and are avenged on them,

gltv@Ezekiel:26:7 @ For so says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will bring on Tyre from the north, Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, a king of kings, with horses and with chariots and with a company of horsemen, even many people.

gltv@Ezekiel:27:33 @ When your wares went out from the seas, you satisfied many peoples. With the plenty of your riches and your goods, you enriched the kings of the earth.

gltv@Ezekiel:27:35 @ All the dwellers of the coastlands are appalled at you, and their kings are horribly terrified; their faces tremble.

gltv@Ezekiel:28:12 @ Son of man, lift up a lament over the king of Tyre, and say to him, So says the Lord Jehovah: You seal the measure, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.

gltv@Ezekiel:28:17 @ Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. I have cast you to the ground. I will put you before kings, that they may see you.

gltv@Ezekiel:28:24 @ And there will not be a pricking brier or a painful thorn to the house of Israel any more from all who surround them, those who hate them. And they shall know that I am the Lord Jehovah.

gltv@Ezekiel:29:2 @ Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him and against Egypt, all of it.

gltv@Ezekiel:29:3 @ Speak and say, So says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, great monster who lies in the midst of his rivers, who has said, My river is mine, and I, even I, have made it.

gltv@Ezekiel:29:14 @ And I will return the captivity of Egypt and will make them return to the land of Pathros, to the land of their origin. And they shall be a lowly kingdom there.

gltv@Ezekiel:29:15 @ It shall be the lowest of the kingdoms, and it shall not lift itself any more above the nations. And I will diminish them so that they will not rule over the nations.

gltv@Ezekiel:29:18 @ Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon made his army to serve a great service against Tyre. Every head was made bald, and every shoulder was rubbed bare. Yet there was no hire to him or to his army from Tyre, for the service that he had served against it.

gltv@Ezekiel:29:19 @ So the Lord Jehovah says this: Behold, I will give to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon the land of Egypt. And he shall lift up her host and spoil her spoil and seize her plunder. And it shall be hire for his army.

gltv@Ezekiel:30:10 @ So says the Lord Jehovah: I will make the multitude of Egypt cease by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.

gltv@Ezekiel:30:21 @ Son of man, I have shattered the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt. and behold, it shall not be bound up to give healing, to set a bandage to bind it, to make it strong to handle the sword.

gltv@Ezekiel:30:22 @ So the Lord Jehovah says this: Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and I will shatter his arms, the strong one, and the shattered one. And I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.

gltv@Ezekiel:30:24 @ And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon and put My sword in his hand. But I will shatter the arms of Pharaoh, and he will groan with the groanings of the slain before him.

gltv@Ezekiel:30:25 @ But I will make the arms of the king of Babylon stronger, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall. And they shall know that I am Jehovah when I put My sword into the king of Babylon's hand. And he will stretch it against the land of Egypt.

gltv@Ezekiel:31:2 @ Son of man, speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt and to his host: To whom are you like in your greatness?

gltv@Ezekiel:31:14 @ in order that all the trees by the waters may not be exalted in their height, and do not give their top among the thick boughs, and do not stand up in their mighty exaltation, all drinking waters. For all of them are given to death to the earth's lowest parts, in the midst of the sons of men, with those going down into the Pit.

gltv@Ezekiel:32:2 @ Son of man, take up a lament over Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and say to him, You were like a young lion of the nations, and you were like the monster in the seas. And you gushed in your rivers and stirred up the waters with your feet and fouled their rivers.

gltv@Ezekiel:32:9 @ I will also vex the heart of many peoples when I bring your breaking among the nations, to the lands which you have not known.

gltv@Ezekiel:32:10 @ And I will make many people appalled at you, and their kings will be horribly afraid at you, when I make My sword fly before their faces. And they shall quake at every moment, each man for his own life, in the day of your fall.

gltv@Ezekiel:32:11 @ For so says the Lord Jehovah: The sword of the king of Babylon shall come on you.

gltv@Ezekiel:32:29 @ There is Edom, her kings, and all her rulers, who are placed in their might with the slain of the sword. They shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with those going down to the Pit.

gltv@Ezekiel:33:24 @ Son of man, the inhabitants of ruins are speaking, these in the land of Israel, saying, Abraham was one, and he possessed the land; but we are many, the land is given to us for a possession.

gltv@Ezekiel:33:30 @ And you, son of man, the sons of your people are talking about you beside the walls, and in the doors of the houses. And one speaks to another, each man with his brother, saying, Come now and hear what the word coming from Jehovah is.

gltv@Ezekiel:36:4 @ Therefore, mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Jehovah: So says the Lord Jehovah to the mountains and to the hills, to the ravines and to the valleys, to the wastes of desolation, and to the forsaken cities which became a prey and a mocking to the rest of the nations all around.

gltv@Ezekiel:37:7 @ So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I prophesied, there was a noise. And, behold, a shaking! And the bones drew near, a bone to its bone.

gltv@Ezekiel:37:22 @ And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel, and one King shall be for a king to all of them. And they shall not be two nations still. And they will not be split into two kingdoms any more.

gltv@Ezekiel:37:24 @ And My Servant, David, shall be King over them. And there shall be one Shepherd to all of them. And they shall walk in My judgments and keep My statutes, and do them.

gltv@Ezekiel:38:19 @ And in My jealousy, in the fire of My wrath, I have spoken. Surely, in that day there shall be a great quaking in the land of Israel.

gltv@Ezekiel:43:6 @ And I heard one speaking to me from the house. And standing beside me was a Man.

gltv@Ezekiel:43:7 @ And He said to me, Son of man, the place of My throne and the place of the soles of My feet, there where I will dwell among the sons of Israel forever, even the house of Israel shall not defile My holy name any more, they nor their kings, by their fornication, nor by the corpses of their kings in their high places.

gltv@Ezekiel:43:9 @ Now let them put away their fornication and the corpses of their kings from Me, and I will dwell in their midst forever.

gltv@Ezekiel:46:1 @ So says the Lord Jehovah: The gate of the inner court that faces the east shall be shut the six working days. But on the sabbath day it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.

gltv@Daniel:1:1 @ In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it.

gltv@Daniel:1:2 @ And the Lord gave Jehoiakim, king of Judah, into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God, which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god. And he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.

gltv@Daniel:1:3 @ And the king spoke to Ashpenaz, the chief of his eunuchs that he should bring some of the sons of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the nobles,

gltv@Daniel:1:4 @ young men in whom was no blemish, but who were of good appearance and having understanding in all wisdom, having knowledge and understanding learning, even those with strength in them to stand in the king's palace, and to teach them the writing and the language of the Chaldeans.

gltv@Daniel:1:5 @ And the king set to them the portion of a day in its day, from the king's food, and the wine of his drinking, even to rear them three years, so that at their end they may stand before the king.

gltv@Daniel:1:8 @ And laid on his heart that he would not defile himself with the king's food, or with the wine of his drinking. So he asked of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

gltv@Daniel:1:10 @ And the chief of the eunuchs said to Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who has chosen your food and your drink. For why should he see your faces worse looking than the boys who are in your term? Then you would forfeit my head to the king.

gltv@Daniel:1:13 @ Then let our face be seen before you, our look and the look of the boys who eat of the king's food. And as you see, deal so with your servants.

gltv@Daniel:1:15 @ And at the end of ten days their faces looked better and fatter of flesh than all the boys who were eating the king's food.

gltv@Daniel:1:18 @ And at the end of the days that the king had said to bring them in, the chief of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.

gltv@Daniel:1:19 @ And the king talked with them. And among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. So they stood before the king.

gltv@Daniel:1:20 @ And in any matter of wisdom and understanding that the king asked from them, he found them ten times better than. all the horoscopists and the conjurers who were in all his kingdom.

gltv@Daniel:1:21 @ And continued to the first year of king Cyrus.

gltv@Daniel:2:2 @ And the king said to call to the horoscopists, and to the conjurers, and to the sorcerers and to the Chaldeans, to tell to the king his dreams. And they came and stood before the king.

gltv@Daniel:2:3 @ And the king said to them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know the dream.

gltv@Daniel:2:4 @ And the Chaldeans spoke to the king in Aramaic: O king, live forever! Tell your servants the dream, and we will reveal the meaning.

gltv@Daniel:2:5 @ The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The word is certainly gone from me. If you will not make known the dream and its meaning to me, you will be made into mere members, and your houses shall be made an outhouse.

gltv@Daniel:2:7 @ They again replied and said, Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will reveal its meaning.

gltv@Daniel:2:8 @ The king answered and said, For I know that you buy time, that on account of all, you see the thing is certainly gone from me.

gltv@Daniel:2:10 @ The Chaldeans replied before the king and said, There is not a man on the earth who can reveal the king's matter, because not any king, lord, or ruler has asked such a thing from any horoscopist, or conjurer, or Chaldean.

gltv@Daniel:2:11 @ And the thing that the king asks is rare. And there is no other who may reveal it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.

gltv@Daniel:2:12 @ Then the king was enraged and angered. And he commanded all the wise men of Babylon to be destroyed.

gltv@Daniel:2:14 @ Then answered with counsel and insight to Arioch the chief of the king's bodyguard, who had gone out to kill the wise men of Babylon.

gltv@Daniel:2:15 @ He answered and said to Arioch, the king's officer, Why is the decree so hasty from before the king? And Arioch made the thing known to Daniel.

gltv@Daniel:2:16 @ And went in and asked of the king that he would give him time, and he would show the king the meaning.

gltv@Daniel:2:21 @ And He changes the times and the seasons; He causes to pass away kings, and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to those who know understanding.

gltv@Daniel:2:23 @ I thank You and praise You, O God of my fathers, who has given me wisdom and might, and has made me know what we ask of You. For You have revealed to us the king's matter.

gltv@Daniel:2:24 @ Then went in to Arioch, whom the king had chosen to destroy the wise men of Babylon. He went and said this to him, Do not destroy the wise men of Babylon. Bring me in before the king, and I will show the meaning to the king.

gltv@Daniel:2:25 @ Then Arioch quickly brought in before the king and spoke this to him, I have found a man of the captives of Judah who will make the meaning known to the king.

gltv@Daniel:2:26 @ The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Are you able to reveal to me the dream which I have seen, and its meaning?

gltv@Daniel:2:27 @ replied before the king and said, The secret which the king has demanded cannot be shown to the king by the wise men, the conjurers, the horoscopists, or the fortunetellers.

gltv@Daniel:2:28 @ But there is a God in Heaven who reveals secrets, and makes known to king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head on your bed, are these:

gltv@Daniel:2:29 @ As for you, O king, your thoughts came on your bed, what should happen after this. And He who reveals secrets makes known to you what shall occur.

gltv@Daniel:2:30 @ But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living man, but so that the meaning might be made known to the king, and that you might know the thoughts of your heart.

gltv@Daniel:2:31 @ You, O king, were seeing. And, behold, a certain great image! That great image stood before you with a brilliant brightness, and its form was dreadful.

gltv@Daniel:2:36 @ This is the dream, and we will tell the meaning of it before the king.

gltv@Daniel:2:37 @ You O king are the king of kings. For the God of Heaven has given you the kingdom, the power, and the strength, and the honor.

gltv@Daniel:2:39 @ And in your place shall arise another kingdom lower than yours, and another third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule in all the earth.

gltv@Daniel:2:40 @ And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron. Inasmuch as iron crushes and smashes all things, and as the iron that shatters all these, it will crush and shatter.

gltv@Daniel:2:41 @ And as to that you saw, the feet and the toes were partly of potters' clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided. But there shall be in it the strength of iron, because you saw the iron mixed with clay of the potter.

gltv@Daniel:2:42 @ And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile.

gltv@Daniel:2:44 @ And in the days of these kings, the God of Heaven shall set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed. And the kingdom shall not be left to other people. It shall break in pieces and destroy all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

gltv@Daniel:2:45 @ Because you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold in pieces. The great God has made known to the king what shall occur after this. And the dream is certain, and the meaning of it is trustworthy.

gltv@Daniel:2:46 @ Then king Nebuchadnezzar fell on his face and did homage to Daniel. And he commanded an offering, even to offer incense to him.

gltv@Daniel:2:47 @ The king answered and said, Your God truly is a God of gods and a Lord of kings, and a Revealer of secrets, since you could reveal this secret.

gltv@Daniel:2:48 @ Then the king made great and gave many great gifts to him. And he made him ruler over all the province of Babylon, and chief of the prefects over all the wise men of Babylon.

gltv@Daniel:2:49 @ And asked of the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego over the affairs of the province of Babylon. But sat in the gate of the king.

gltv@Daniel:3:1 @ Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold whose height was sixty cubits; its breadth, six cubits. He set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.

gltv@Daniel:3:2 @ Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather the satraps, the prefects, the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the judges and the justices. And all the officials of the provinces were ordered to come to the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

gltv@Daniel:3:3 @ Then were gathered the satraps, the prefects, the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the judges, the justices, and all the officials of the provinces, to the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. And they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

gltv@Daniel:3:5 @ at the time you hear the sound of the horn, the pipe, zither, the lyre, harp, bagpipe, and all kinds of music, you shall fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king has set up.

gltv@Daniel:3:7 @ Then at that time when all the people heard the sound of the horn, the pipe, zither, the lyre, harp, and all kinds of music, all the peoples, the nations, and the languages fell down, worshiping the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

gltv@Daniel:3:9 @ They answered and said to king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live forever!

gltv@Daniel:3:10 @ You, O king, have made a decree that every man who shall hear the sound of the horn, the pipe, zither, the lyre, harp, and the bagpipe, and all kinds of music, shall fall down and worship the golden image.

gltv@Daniel:3:12 @ There are men, Jews, whom you have set over the business of the province of Babylon: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. These men, O king, do not pay attention to you. They do not serve your gods or worship the golden image which you have set up.

gltv@Daniel:3:13 @ Then Nebuchadnezzar in anger and wrath commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.

gltv@Daniel:3:16 @ Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to return a word to you on this matter.

gltv@Daniel:3:17 @ If it is so that our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning, fiery furnace, then He will deliver out of your hand, O king.

gltv@Daniel:3:18 @ And if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image which you have set up.

gltv@Daniel:3:22 @ Then, because the king's command was urgent, and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

gltv@Daniel:3:24 @ Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was amazed. And he rose up in haste; he spoke and said to his royal officials, Did we not throw three men bound into the middle of the fire? They replied and said to the king, True, O king.

gltv@Daniel:3:25 @ He answered and said, Behold! I see four men loose, walking in the middle of the fire, and there is no harm among them. And the form of the fourth is like a son of the gods.

gltv@Daniel:3:27 @ And the satraps, the prefects, the governors, and the king's officials assembled. And they saw these men on whose bodies the fire had no power, and the hair of their head was not scorched, nor were their slippers changed, nor had the smell of fire clung on them.

gltv@Daniel:3:28 @ Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent His Angel and has delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and have changed the king's words, and have given their bodies that they might not serve nor worship any god except their own God.

gltv@Daniel:3:30 @ Then the king made Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego prosper in the province of Babylon.

gltv@Daniel:4:1 @ Nebuchadnezzar the king to all the peoples, the nations, and the tongues that dwell in all the earth: Your peace be multiplied.

gltv@Daniel:4:3 @ How great are His signs! And how mighty are His wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His rule is from generation to generation.

gltv@Daniel:4:10 @ As to the visions of my head on my bed, I was looking, and. behold, a tree was in the middle of the earth. And its height was great.

gltv@Daniel:4:13 @ I was looking in the visions of my head on my bed. And, behold, a watcher, even a holy one, came down from the heaven

gltv@Daniel:4:17 @ This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the command by the word of the holy ones, so that the living may know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men and gives it to whomever He will. And He sets up over it the lowest of men.

gltv@Daniel:4:18 @ I, Nebuchadnezzar, have seen this dream. Now you, O Belteshazzar, declare its meaning, since all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to reveal the meaning to me. But you are able, for the spirit of the holy gods is in you.

gltv@Daniel:4:19 @ Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was stunned for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spoke and said, O Belteshazzar, do not let the dream or its meaning trouble you. Belteshazzar answered and said, My lord, the dream is to those who hate you, and its meaning is to your foes.

gltv@Daniel:4:22 @ It was you, O king, for you have become great and strong. For your greatness has grown and reaches to the heavens, and your rule is to the end of the earth.

gltv@Daniel:4:23 @ And as the king saw a watcher and a holy one coming down from the heavens, and saying, Cut the tree down, and destroy it. Yet leave the stump of its roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and bronze, in the grass of the field. And let him be wet with the dew of the heavens, and his portion be with the animals of the field, until seven times pass over him.

gltv@Daniel:4:24 @ This is the meaning, O king, and this the decree of the Most High, which has come on my lord the king:

gltv@Daniel:4:25 @ And you shall be driven from men, and your dwelling shall be with the animals of the field. And you shall be fed with grass like oxen. And you shall be wet with dew of the heavens; and seven times shall pass over you until you know that the Most High is Ruler in the kingdom of men, and He gives it to whomever He desires.

gltv@Daniel:4:26 @ And in that they that commanded to leave the stump of the tree roots, Your kingdom shall be enduring to you after you have realized that Heaven rules.

gltv@Daniel:4:27 @ So, O king, let my advice be pleasing to you: Even break off your sins by righteousness, and your iniquities by pitying the poor, whether there will be duration to your prosperity.

gltv@Daniel:4:28 @ All this came on the king, Nebuchadnezzar.

gltv@Daniel:4:29 @ At the end of twelve months, he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon.

gltv@Daniel:4:30 @ The king spoke and said, is this not great Babylon that I have built for the house of the kingdom, by the might of my power, and for the honor of my majesty?

gltv@Daniel:4:31 @ The word was still in the king's voice when a voice fell from the heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is declared: The kingdom has been taken from you!

gltv@Daniel:4:32 @ And you shall be driven from men, and your dwelling shall be with the animals of the field. You shall be fed with the grass like oxen, and seven times shall pass over you until you know that the Most High is Ruler in the kingdom of men, and that He gives it to whomever He desires.

gltv@Daniel:4:34 @ And at the end of the days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to the heaven, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the Most High. And I praised and honored Him who lives forever, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His rule from generation to generation.

gltv@Daniel:4:36 @ At that time my reason returned to me, and the glory of my kingdom, my majesty, and my brightness returned to me. And my advisers and my nobles sought to me. And I was reestablished in my kingdom, and excellent greatness was added to me.

gltv@Daniel:4:37 @ Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and honor the King of Heaven, for all His works are truth, and His ways are justice. And He is able to humble those who walk in pride.

gltv@Daniel:5:1 @ Belshazzar the king made a great feast to a thousand of his nobles. And he drank wine before the thousand.

gltv@Daniel:5:2 @ When tasting the wine, Belshazzar commanded the golden and silver vessels brought, those his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple in Jerusalem, that the king and his nobles, his wives, and his concubines might drink with them.

gltv@Daniel:5:3 @ Then they brought the golden vessels that were taken out of the temple of the house of God in Jerusalem. And the king, his nobles, his wives, and his concubines drank with them.

gltv@Daniel:5:5 @ At that moment fingers of a man's hand came out and wrote on the plaster of the wall of the king's palace across from the lampstand. And the king saw the part of the hand that wrote.

gltv@Daniel:5:6 @ Then the king's color was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his loins shook, and his knees knocked one against the other.

gltv@Daniel:5:7 @ The king cried aloud to bring in the conjurers, the Chaldeans, and the star gazers. The king spoke and said to the wise men of Babylon, Any man who can read this writing and reveal its meaning shall be clothed with purple, and have a chain of gold around his neck. And he shall rule third in the kingdom.

gltv@Daniel:5:8 @ Then all the king's wise men came in. But they could not read the writing or make the meaning known to the king.

gltv@Daniel:5:9 @ Then king Belshazzar was greatly troubled, and his face was changing on him, and his nobles were perplexed.

gltv@Daniel:5:10 @ The queen came in to the banquet house because of the words of the king and his nobles. The queen spoke and said, O king, live forever, do not let your thoughts trouble you, and do not let your face be changed.

gltv@Daniel:5:11 @ There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the spirit of the holy gods. And in the days of your father, light and understanding and wisdom was found in him, like the wisdom of the gods. Your father, king Nebuchadnezzar, your father the king, appointed him master of the horoscopists, conjurers, Chaldeans and fortunetellers,

gltv@Daniel:5:12 @ because an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, explaining of dreams, and revealing of hard sentences, and the unraveling of knots, were found in this Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar. Now let be called, and he will reveal the meaning.

gltv@Daniel:5:13 @ Then was thrust in before the king. The king spoke and said to Daniel, Are you that who is of the sons of the exiled of Judah, whom my father the king brought out of Judah?

gltv@Daniel:5:16 @ And I have heard of you, that you can interpret meanings, and unravel knots. Now if you can read the writing and reveal its meaning to me, you shall be clothed with purple and have a golden chain around your neck, and you will rule third in the kingdom.

gltv@Daniel:5:17 @ Then answered and said before the king, Let your gifts be to yourself, and give your rewards to another. Yet I will read the writing to the king, and make the meaning known to him.

gltv@Daniel:5:18 @ O king, the Most High God gave your father Nebuchadnezzar a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honor.

gltv@Daniel:5:20 @ But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was put down from the throne of his kingdom, and they took his glory from him.

gltv@Daniel:5:21 @ And he was driven from the sons of men. And his heart was made like the animals, and his home was with the wild asses. They fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of the heavens, until he knew that the Most High God is Ruler in the kingdom of men, and that He appoints over it whomever He desires.

gltv@Daniel:5:26 @ This is the meaning of the thing: A MINA: God has numbered your kingdom and finished it.

gltv@Daniel:5:27 @ A SHEKEL: You are weighed in the balances and found lacking.

gltv@Daniel:5:28 @ HALF MINAS: Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.

gltv@Daniel:5:29 @ Then Belshazzar commanded, and they clothed with purple, and a necklace of gold around his neck. And they made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.

gltv@Daniel:5:30 @ In that night Belshazzar, the king of the Chaldeans, was killed.

gltv@Daniel:5:31 @ And Darius the Mede took the kingdom, being a son of sixty two years.

gltv@Daniel:6:1 @ It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom a hundred and twenty satraps, that they might be over the kingdom.

gltv@Daniel:6:2 @ And over them were three presidents (was one of them), so that these satraps might give account to them, and the king should have no loss.

gltv@Daniel:6:3 @ Then this was preferred above the presidents and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him. And the king was planning to set him over all the kingdom.

gltv@Daniel:6:4 @ Then the presidents and satraps sought to find occasion against concerning the kingdom. But they could find no occasion or fault because he was trustworthy. And no error or fault was found in him.

gltv@Daniel:6:6 @ Then these presidents and satraps gathered together to the king and said this to him, King Darius, live forever.

gltv@Daniel:6:7 @ All the presidents of the kingdom, the prefects, and the satraps, the officials and the governors, have planned together to establish a royal law, and to make a strong ban, that whoever shall ask a petition of any god or man for thirty days, except from you, O king, he shall be thrown into the den of lions.

gltv@Daniel:6:8 @ Now, O king, establish the ban and sign the document, so that it may not be changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which does not pass away.

gltv@Daniel:6:9 @ All on account of this, king Darius signed the document and the ban.

gltv@Daniel:6:11 @ Then these men met together and found praying and seeking mercy before his God.

gltv@Daniel:6:12 @ Then they came near and spoke before the king concerning the king's ban, saying, Have you not signed a ban that every man who shall ask of any god or man within thirty days, except of you, O king, that he shall be thrown into the lions' den? The king answered and said, The thing is certain, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which does not pass away.

gltv@Daniel:6:13 @ Then they answered and said before the king, Daniel, who is of the exiled sons of Judah, has not set attention on you, O king, or the ban that you have signed, but he makes his prayer three times in the day.

gltv@Daniel:6:14 @ Then the king, when he heard the word, was very displeased with himself, and he set his heart on Daniel, to deliver him. And he labored until the going of the sun to deliver him.

gltv@Daniel:6:15 @ Then these men met before the king and said to the king, O king, know that the law of the Medes and Persians is that every ban or law which the king enacts may not be changed.

gltv@Daniel:6:16 @ And the king commanded. And they brought Daniel, and they threw him into the lions' den. The king spoke and said to Daniel, Your God whom you constantly serve will deliver you.

gltv@Daniel:6:17 @ And a stone was brought and laid on the mouth of the den. And the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his nobles, that the affair may not change concerning Daniel.

gltv@Daniel:6:18 @ Then the king went to his palace and spent the night fasting. and diversions were not brought before him; and his sleep fled from him.

gltv@Daniel:6:19 @ Then the king rose up in the dawn, in the daylight, and hurried to the lions' den.

gltv@Daniel:6:20 @ And when he came to the den, he cried with a grieved voice to Daniel. The king spoke and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, your God whom you always serve, is He able to deliver you from the lions?

gltv@Daniel:6:21 @ Then said to the king, O king, live forever.

gltv@Daniel:6:22 @ My God has sent His Angel, and He has shut the mouths of the lions. And they have not hurt me, because in His sight purity was found in me. And also before you, O king, I have done no harm.

gltv@Daniel:6:23 @ Then the king was exceedingly happy for him. And he commanded to bring up from the den. And was brought out of the den, and no harm was found on him, because he trusted in his God.

gltv@Daniel:6:24 @ And the king commanded, and they brought those men who had accused Daniel. And they threw them into the lions' den, them, their sons and their wives. And the lions overpowered them and crushed all their bones before they reached to the bottom of the den.

gltv@Daniel:6:25 @ Then king Darius wrote to all the peoples, the nations, and the languages who were living in all the earth: Peace be multiplied to you.

gltv@Daniel:6:26 @ A decree was given from before me that in all the domain of my kingdom there shall be trembling and fear before the God of Daniel. For He is the living God and endures forever, and His kingdom is the one which shall not be destroyed. And His rule shall be to the end.

gltv@Daniel:7:1 @ In the first year of Belshazzar, king of Babylon, saw a dream and visions of his head on his bed. Then he related the dream, giving the sum of the matters.

gltv@Daniel:7:2 @ spoke and said, In my vision by night I was looking. And, behold, the four winds of the heavens were stirring up the Great Sea.

gltv@Daniel:7:6 @ After this I was looking, and, behold, another like a leopard, and to it were four wings of a bird on its side. And also to the beast were four heads. And rulership was given to it.

gltv@Daniel:7:7 @ And after this I was looking in the night visions. And, behold, the fourth beast was fearful and terrifying, and very strong! And to it were great iron teeth. It devoured, and crushed, and stamped what was left with its feet. And it was different from all the beasts before it; and it had ten horns.

gltv@Daniel:7:8 @ I was thinking about the horns. And behold! Another little horn came up among them, and three of the first horns were uprooted before it. And behold! In this horn were eyes like the eyes of the man, and a mouth speaking great things.

gltv@Daniel:7:9 @ I was looking until the thrones were thrown up, and the Ancient of Days sat, whose robe was white as snow and the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was like flames of fire, its wheels like burning fire.

gltv@Daniel:7:11 @ Then I was looking because of the voice of the great words which the horn spoke. I was looking until the beast was killed, and his body was destroyed and given to the burning flame.

gltv@Daniel:7:13 @ I was looking in the night visions. And behold! One like the Son of Man came with the clouds of the heavens. And He came to the Ancient of Days. And they brought Him near before Him.

gltv@Daniel:7:14 @ And dominion was given to Him, and glory, and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

gltv@Daniel:7:17 @ These great beasts are four, four kings; they shall rise up out of the earth.

gltv@Daniel:7:18 @ But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.

gltv@Daniel:7:20 @ also of the ten horns that were on its head, and the other which came up, and before whom three fell, even that horn that had eyes, and a mouth speaking great things, and its look was greater than his fellows.

gltv@Daniel:7:21 @ I was looking, and that horn made war with the saints and overcame them,

gltv@Daniel:7:22 @ until the Ancient of Days came. And judgment was given to the saints of the Most High, and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
