gltv@Genesis:23:3 @ And Abraham rose up from before his dead and spoke to the sons of Heth, saying,

gltv@Genesis:23:4 @ I am an alien and a visitor with you. Give to me a possession among you, so that I may bury my dead from before the eyes.

gltv@Genesis:23:5 @ And the sons of Heth answered Abraham, saying to him,

gltv@Genesis:23:6 @ Hear us, my lord. You are a prince among us. Bury your dead in the best of our burying places. Not a man of us will withhold his burying place from you, from burying your dead.

gltv@Genesis:23:7 @ And Abraham rose up and bowed himself to the people of the land, to the sons of Heth.

gltv@Genesis:23:8 @ And he spoke with them, saying, If it is your desire to bury my dead from before the eyes, hear me. Ask for me of Ephron the son of Zohar,

gltv@Genesis:23:9 @ that he may give to me the cave of Machpelah which he has, which is in the edge of his field. In full silver let him give it to me among you, for a possession of a burying place.

gltv@Genesis:23:10 @ And Ephron was sitting among the sons of Heth. And Ephron the Hittite replied to Abraham in the ears of the sons of Heth, to all those entering the gate of his city, saying,

gltv@Genesis:23:11 @ No, my lord, hear me. I have given the field to you; also the cave that is in it. I have given it to you. Before the eyes of the sons of my people I have given it to you. Bury your dead.

gltv@Genesis:23:12 @ And Abraham bowed before the people of the land,

gltv@Genesis:23:13 @ and spoke to Ephron in the ears of the people of the land, saying, Only if you would hear me. I have given the silver for the field; take it from me, that I may bury my dead there.

gltv@Genesis:23:14 @ And Ephron answered Abraham, saying to him,

gltv@Genesis:23:15 @ My lord, hear me; the land is worth four hundred shekels of silver; what is that between me and you? And bury your dead.

gltv@Genesis:23:16 @ And Abraham listened to Ephron, and Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver of which he had spoken in the ears of the sons of Heth, four hundred silver shekels which passes with the merchant.

gltv@Genesis:23:17 @ And was certified the field of Ephron in Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the cave and the field in it, and all the trees in the field, which were in all its borders around it,

gltv@Genesis:23:18 @ to Abraham for a purchase before the sons of Heth, with all entering the gate of his city.

gltv@Genesis:23:19 @ And after this Abraham buried his wife Sarah at the cave of the field of Machpelah before Mamre; it is Hebron, in the land of Canaan.

gltv@Genesis:23:20 @ And the field was certified, and the cave in it, to Abraham for a burial possession from the sons of Heth.

gltv@Genesis:24:23 @ And he said, Whose daughter are you? Please tell me, is there room for us to stay in your father's house?

gltv@Genesis:25:23 @ And Jehovah said to her, Two nations are in your womb; even two peoples shall break from your body And one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.

gltv@Genesis:26:23 @ And he went from there to Beersheba.

gltv@Genesis:27:23 @ And he did not know him, because his hands were like the hairy hands of his brother Esau. And he blessed him.

gltv@Exodus:10:23 @ They did not see each one his brother, and they did not rise up, each one from his place for three days. Yet to all the sons of Israel there was light in their dwellings.

gltv@Exodus:12:23 @ And Jehovah will pass through to strike Egypt. And He will see the blood on the upper doorpost and on the two side doorposts, and Jehovah will pass over the door. And He will not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you.

gltv@Exodus:23:1 @ You shall not utter a false report; You shall not put your hand with the wicked, to become a violent witness.

gltv@Exodus:23:2 @ You shall not run after many to gain evil things. And you shall not testify as to a lawsuit, to turn aside after many in order to pervert justice.

gltv@Exodus:23:3 @ And you shall not favor the lowly in his lawsuit.

gltv@Exodus:23:4 @ When you happen on the ox of your enemy, or his wandering ass, you shall surely return it to him.

gltv@Exodus:23:5 @ When you see the ass of one who hates you crouching under its burden, you shall refrain from leaving it to him; you shall surely loose it from him.

gltv@Exodus:23:6 @ You shall not pervert the judgment of your needy one in his lawsuit.

gltv@Exodus:23:7 @ You shall keep far away from a false matter. And do not kill the innocent and the righteous; for I will not justify the wicked.

gltv@Exodus:23:8 @ And you shall not take a bribe, for the bribe blinds the seeing one, and it perverts the words of the righteous.

gltv@Exodus:23:9 @ And you shall not oppress an alien; and you know the life of an alien, since you were aliens in the land of Egypt.

gltv@Exodus:23:10 @ And you shall sow your land six years, and you shall gather its produce.

gltv@Exodus:23:11 @ And the seventh year you shall let it rest and lie fallow, and the needy of your people shall eat. And what they leave, the animals of the field shall eat. So you shall do to your vineyard, to your oliveyard.

gltv@Exodus:23:12 @ You shall do your work six days, and on the seventh day you shall rest, so that your ox and your ass may rest, and the son of your slave-girl and your alien may be refreshed.

gltv@Exodus:23:13 @ And be watchful in all that I have said to you. And you shall not mention another god by name; it shall not be heard from your mouth.

gltv@Exodus:23:14 @ Three times in the year you shall make a feast to Me.

gltv@Exodus:23:15 @ You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I have commanded you, at the set time of the month of Abib. For in it you came out from Egypt, and they shall not appear before Me empty.

gltv@Exodus:23:16 @ Also the Feast of Harvest, the first fruits of your labor, of what you sow in the field. Also the Feast of Ingathering, at the end of the year, at your gathering your work from the field.

gltv@Exodus:23:17 @ Three times in the year every one of your males shall appear before the Lord Jehovah.

gltv@Exodus:23:18 @ You shall not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leavened bread. And the fat of My feast shall not pass the night until morning.

gltv@Exodus:23:19 @ The first, the firstfruits of your ground you shall bring to the house of Jehovah your God. You shall not boil a kid in its mother's milk.

gltv@Exodus:23:20 @ Behold, I am about to send an Angel before you, to guard you in the way, and to bring you to the place which I have prepared.

gltv@Exodus:23:21 @ Be on guard before Him, and listen to His voice. Do not be rebellious against Him, for He will not forgive your transgressions; for My name is in Him.

gltv@Exodus:23:22 @ For if you fully listen to His voice, and do all which I speak, I will be an enemy to your enemies, and will be a foe to your foes.

gltv@Exodus:23:23 @ For My Angel shall go before you and bring you in to the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Canaanite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite; and I will cut them off.

gltv@Exodus:23:24 @ You shall not bow down to their gods, and you shall not serve them. And you shall not do according to their works. But you shall surely tear them down, and you shall surely smash their pillars.

gltv@Exodus:23:25 @ And you shall serve Jehovah your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will remove sickness from your midst.

gltv@Exodus:23:26 @ There shall not be one miscarrying, nor one barren in your land. I will fulfill the number of your days.

gltv@Exodus:23:27 @ I will send My terror before you, and I will confound all the people among whom you come. And I will give the neck of your enemies to you.

gltv@Exodus:23:28 @ And I will send hornets before you which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite before you.

gltv@Exodus:23:29 @ I will not drive them out from before you in one year, that the land not become a waste, and the beast of the field multiply on you.

gltv@Exodus:23:30 @ I will drive them out before you little by little, until you are fruitful and possess the land.

gltv@Exodus:23:31 @ And I will set your border from the Sea of Reeds as far as the Sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness as far as the River. For I will give the people of the land into your hand. And you shall drive them out before you.

gltv@Exodus:23:32 @ You shall not cut a covenant for them and for their gods.

gltv@Exodus:23:33 @ They shall not dwell in your land, lest they cause you to sin towards Me. Surely when you serve their gods, it will be a snare to you.

gltv@Exodus:25:23 @ And you shall make a table of acacia wood, its length two cubits, and its width a cubit, and its height a cubit and a half.

gltv@Exodus:26:23 @ And you shall make two boards for the corners of the tabernacle, in the sides.

gltv@Exodus:28:23 @ And you shall make two rings of gold on the breast pocket. And you shall put the two rings on the two ends of the breast pocket.

gltv@Leviticus:18:23 @ And you shall not give your semen with any animal, for uncleanness with it. And a woman shall not stand before an animal to lie down with it; it is a shameful mixing.

gltv@Leviticus:19:23 @ And when you come into the land and have planted all of the food trees, then you shall expose its foreskin, its fruit, it shall be uncircumcised for you three years; it shall not be eaten.

gltv@Leviticus:21:23 @ But he shall not enter into the veil, and he shall not draw near to the altar; for a blemish is in him; and he shall not pollute My sanctuary; for I am Jehovah who sanctifies them.

gltv@Leviticus:22:23 @ As to an ox or a sheep deformed, or dwarfed, you shall make it a freewill offering; but it is not acceptable for a vow.

gltv@Leviticus:23:1 @ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

gltv@Leviticus:23:2 @ Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them, The appointed feasts of Jehovah which you shall proclaim, holy gatherings, shall be these: These are My appointed seasons:

gltv@Leviticus:23:3 @ Work is to be done six days, and in the seventh day shall be a sabbath of rest, a holy gathering; you shall do no work; it is a sabbath to Jehovah in all your dwellings.

gltv@Leviticus:23:4 @ These are appointed seasons of Jehovah, holy gatherings which you shall proclaim in their appointed seasons:

gltv@Leviticus:23:5 @ In the first month, on the fourteenth of the month, between the evenings is the Passover to Jehovah.

gltv@Leviticus:23:6 @ And on the fifteenth of this month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to Jehovah; you shall eat unleavened things seven days.

gltv@Leviticus:23:7 @ On the first day you shall have a holy gathering; you shall do no work of service;

gltv@Leviticus:23:8 @ and you shall bring near a fire offering to Jehovah seven days; and the seventh day shall be a holy gathering; you shall do no work of service.

gltv@Leviticus:23:9 @ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

gltv@Leviticus:23:10 @ Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them, When you come in to the land which I am giving to you, and have reaped its harvest, and have brought in the sheaf, or the beginning of your harvest, to the priest,

gltv@Leviticus:23:11 @ then he shall wave the sheaf before Jehovah for your acceptance; on the morrow of the sabbath the priest shall wave it.

gltv@Leviticus:23:12 @ And you shall prepare a lamb in the day you wave the sheaf, a perfect one, a son of a year, for a burnt offering to Jehovah.

gltv@Leviticus:23:13 @ And its food offering shall be two tenth parts of flour mixed with oil, a fire offering to Jehovah, a sweet fragrance; and its drink offering, a fourth of a hin of wine.

gltv@Leviticus:23:14 @ And you shall not eat bread, nor roasted grain, nor fresh ears, until this same day, until you have brought the offering of your God; it is a never ending statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

gltv@Leviticus:23:15 @ And you shall number to you from the next day after the sabbath, from the day you bring in the sheaf of the wave offering; they shall be seven perfect sabbaths;

gltv@Leviticus:23:16 @ the next day after the seventh sabbath, you shall number fifty days; and you shall bring near a new food offering to Jehovah;

gltv@Leviticus:23:17 @ you shall bring in bread out of your dwellings for a wave offering, two loaves; they shall be of two tenth ephah of flour; they shall be baked with leaven; firstfruits to Jehovah

gltv@Leviticus:23:18 @ And besides the bread, you shall offer seven lambs, perfect ones, sons of a year, and one bullock, a son of the herd, and two rams; they are a burnt offering to Jehovah, with their food offering and their drink offerings, a fire offering of soothing fragrance to Jehovah.

gltv@Leviticus:23:19 @ And you shall offer one he-goat for a sin offering, and two lambs, sons of a year, for a sacrifice of peace offerings.

gltv@Leviticus:23:20 @ And the priest shall wave them, besides the bread of the firstfruits, a wave offering before Jehovah, besides the two lambs; they are holy to Jehovah for the priest.

gltv@Leviticus:23:21 @ And you shall make a proclamation on this same day; it is a holy gathering to you. You shall do no work of service. It is a never ending statute in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

gltv@Leviticus:23:22 @ And when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not completely reap the corner of your field, nor shall you gather the gleaning of your harvest; you shall leave them for the poor, and for the alien: I am Jehovah your God.

gltv@Leviticus:23:23 @ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

gltv@Leviticus:23:24 @ Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first of the month, you shall have a sabbath, a memorable acclamation, a holy gathering.

gltv@Leviticus:23:25 @ You shall do no work of service and you shall bring a fire offering to Jehovah.

gltv@Leviticus:23:26 @ And Jehovah spoke to Moses saying,

gltv@Leviticus:23:27 @ Also, on the tenth of this seventh month shall be a day of atonement; there shall be a holy gathering, and you shall humble your souls and shall bring a fire offering to Jehovah.

gltv@Leviticus:23:28 @ And you shall do no work in this same day, for it is a day of atonement, to atone for you before Jehovah your God.

gltv@Leviticus:23:29 @ For any person who is not humbled in this same day shall be cut off from his people.

gltv@Leviticus:23:30 @ And any person who does any work in this same day, I shall even destroy that person from the midst of his people.

gltv@Leviticus:23:31 @ You shall do no work; it is a never ending statute throughout your generations, in all your dwellings.

gltv@Leviticus:23:32 @ It is a sabbath of rest to you, and you shall humble your souls in the ninth of the month at evening; from evening until evening you shall keep your sabbath.

gltv@Leviticus:23:33 @ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

gltv@Leviticus:23:34 @ Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, In the fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be a Feast of Booths seven days to Jehovah.

gltv@Leviticus:23:35 @ On the first day shall be a holy gathering; you shall do no work of service.

Today I am going in the way of all the earth, and you know with all your heart and with all your soul that there has not failed one thing of all the good things which Jehovah your God has spoken concerning you; all of it has come to you; there has not one thing failed of it.

gltv@Ezekiel:23:28 @ For so says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will give you in the hand of those whom you hate, in the hand of whom your soul was alienated from them.

gltv@Ezekiel:23:29 @ And they shall deal with you in hatred and take all your wealth, and shall leave you naked and bare. And the nudity of your adulteries will be bared, even your lewdness and your fornications.

gltv@Ezekiel:23:31 @ You have walked in the way of your sister, and I will give her cup into your hand.

gltv@Ezekiel:23:32 @ So says the Lord Jehovah: You shall drink your sister's cup deep and wide; you shall be laughed at and mocked, for it holds much.

gltv@Ezekiel:23:33 @ With drunkenness and sorrow you are filled, the cup of horror and ruin, the cup of your sister Samaria.

gltv@Ezekiel:23:34 @ And you shall drink it and drain it. And you shall break its fragments and tear off your breasts. For I have spoken, declares the Lord Jehovah.

gltv@Ezekiel:23:35 @ So the Lord Jehovah says this: Because you have forgotten Me and cast Me behind your back, so also you bear your wickedness and your adulteries.

gltv@Ezekiel:23:36 @ And Jehovah said to me, Son of man, will you judge Oholah and Oholibah? Then declare to them their abominations.

gltv@Ezekiel:23:37 @ For they committed adultery, and blood is on their hands. Yea, they committed adultery with their idols, and even their sons whom they bore to Me, they cause to pass to them to be consumed.

gltv@Ezekiel:23:38 @ Even still they have done this to Me: They have defiled My sanctuary in that day, and have profaned My sabbaths.

gltv@Ezekiel:23:39 @ And when they had slain their sons to their idols, then they came into My sanctuary in that day to profane it. And, lo, this they have done in the midst of My house.
