kjv@1Samuel:23:23 @ See therefore, and take knowledge of all the lurking places where he hideth himself, and come ye again to me with the certainty, and I will go with you: and it shall come to pass, if he be in the land, that I will search him out throughout all the thousands of Judah.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:8 @ Neither left she her whoredoms brought from Egypt: for in her youth they lay with her, and they bruised the breasts of her virginity, and poured their whoredom upon her.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:9 @ Wherefore I have delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, upon whom she doted.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:10 @ These discovered her nakedness: they took her sons and her daughters, and slew her with the sword: and she became famous among women; for they had executed judgment upon her.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:11 @ And when her sister Aholibah saw this, she was more corrupt in her inordinate love than she, and in her whoredoms more than her sister in her whoredoms.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:12 @ She doted upon the Assyrians her neighbours, captains and rulers clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding upon horses, all of them desirable young men.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:13 @ Then I saw that she was defiled, that they took both one way,

kjv@Ezekiel:23:14 @ And that she increased her whoredoms: for when she saw men pourtrayed upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans pourtrayed with vermilion,

kjv@Ezekiel:23:15 @ Girded with girdles upon their loins, exceeding in dyed attire upon their heads, all of them princes to look to, after the manner of the Babylonians of Chaldea, the land of their nativity:

kjv@Ezekiel:23:16 @ And as soon as she saw them with her eyes, she doted upon them, and sent messengers unto them into Chaldea.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:17 @ And the Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their whoredom, and she was polluted with them, and her mind was alienated from them.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:18 @ So she discovered her whoredoms, and discovered her nakedness: then my mind was alienated from her, like as my mind was alienated from her sister.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:19 @ Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:20 @ For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:21 @ Thus thou calledst to remembrance the lewdness of thy youth, in bruising thy teats by the Egyptians for the paps of thy youth.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:22 @ Therefore, O Aholibah, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy mind is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side;

kjv@Ezekiel:23:23 @ The Babylonians, and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them: all of them desirable young men, captains and rulers, great lords and renowned, all of them riding upon horses.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:24 @ And they shall come against thee with chariots, wagons, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, which shall set against thee buckler and shield and helmet round about: and I will set judgment before them, and they shall judge thee according to their judgments.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:25 @ And I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall deal furiously with thee: they shall take away thy nose and thine ears; and thy remnant shall fall by the sword: they shall take thy sons and thy daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the fire.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:26 @ They shall also strip thee out of thy clothes, and take away thy fair jewels.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:27 @ Thus will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy whoredom brought from the land of Egypt: so that thou shalt not lift up thine eyes unto them, nor remember Egypt any more.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:28 @ For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will deliver thee into the hand of them whom thou hatest, into the hand of them from whom thy mind is alienated:

kjv@Ezekiel:23:29 @ And they shall deal with thee hatefully, and shall take away all thy labour, and shall leave thee naked and bare: and the nakedness of thy whoredoms shall be discovered, both thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:30 @ I will do these things unto thee, because thou hast gone a whoring after the heathen, and because thou art polluted with their idols.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:31 @ Thou hast walked in the way of thy sister; therefore will I give her cup into thine hand.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:32 @ Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou shalt drink of thy sister's cup deep and large: thou shalt be laughed to scorn and had in derision; it containeth much.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:33 @ Thou shalt be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of thy sister Samaria.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:34 @ Thou shalt even drink it and suck it out, and thou shalt break the sherds thereof, and pluck off thine own breasts: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:35 @ Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:36 @ The LORD said moreover unto me; Son of man, wilt thou judge Aholah and Aholibah? yea, declare unto them their abominations;

kjv@Ezekiel:23:37 @ That they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass for them through the fire, to devour them.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:38 @ Moreover this they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:39 @ For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of mine house.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:40 @ And furthermore, that ye have sent for men to come from far, unto whom a messenger was sent; and, lo, they came: for whom thou didst wash thyself, paintedst thy eyes, and deckedst thyself with ornaments,

kjv@Ezekiel:23:41 @ And satest upon a stately bed, and a table prepared before it, whereupon thou hast set mine incense and mine oil.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:42 @ And a voice of a multitude being at ease was with her: and with the men of the common sort were brought Sabeans from the wilderness, which put bracelets upon their hands, and beautiful crowns upon their heads.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:43 @ Then said I unto her that was old in adulteries, Will they now commit whoredoms with her, and she with them?

kjv@Ezekiel:23:44 @ Yet they went in unto her, as they go in unto a woman that playeth the harlot: so went they in unto Aholah and unto Aholibah, the lewd women.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:45 @ And the righteous men, they shall judge them after the manner of adulteresses, and after the manner of women that shed blood; because they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:46 @ For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will bring up a company upon them, and will give them to be removed and spoiled.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:47 @ And the company shall stone them with stones, and dispatch them with their swords; they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and burn up their houses with fire.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:48 @ Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness.

kjv@Ezekiel:23:49 @ And they shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and ye shall bear the sins of your idols: and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

kjv@Ezekiel:24:23 @ And your tires shall be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another.

kjv@Ezekiel:27:23 @ Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad, were thy merchants.

kjv@Ezekiel:28:23 @ For I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall be judged in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

kjv@Ezekiel:30:23 @ And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.

kjv@Ezekiel:32:23 @ Whose graves are set in the sides of the pit, and her company is round about her grave: all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which caused terror in the land of the living.

kjv@Ezekiel:33:23 @ Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

kjv@Ezekiel:34:23 @ And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

kjv@Ezekiel:36:23 @ And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

kjv@Ezekiel:37:23 @ Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

kjv@Ezekiel:38:23 @ Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.

kjv@Ezekiel:39:23 @ And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.

kjv@Ezekiel:40:23 @ And the gate of the inner court was over against the gate toward the north, and toward the east; and he measured from gate to gate an hundred cubits.

kjv@Ezekiel:41:23 @ And the temple and the sanctuary had two doors.

kjv@Ezekiel:43:23 @ When thou hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.

kjv@Ezekiel:44:23 @ And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.

kjv@Ezekiel:45:23 @ And seven days of the feast he shall prepare a burnt offering to the LORD, seven bullocks and seven rams without blemish daily the seven days; and a kid of the goats daily for a sin offering.

kjv@Ezekiel:46:23 @ And there was a row of building round about in them, round about them four, and it was made with boiling places under the rows round about.

kjv@Ezekiel:47:23 @ And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith the Lord GOD.

kjv@Ezekiel:48:23 @ As for the rest of the tribes, from the east side unto the west side, Benjamin shall have a portion.

kjv@Daniel:2:23 @ I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter.

kjv@Daniel:3:23 @ And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

kjv@Daniel:4:23 @ And whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him;

kjv@Daniel:5:23 @ But hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:

kjv@Daniel:6:23 @ Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.

kjv@Daniel:7:23 @ Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

kjv@Daniel:8:23 @ And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

kjv@Daniel:9:23 @ At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.

kjv@Daniel:11:23 @ And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.

kjv@Hosea:2:23 @ And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.

kjv@Joel:2:23 @ Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

kjv@Amos:5:23 @ Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.

kjv@Haggai:2:23 @ In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts.

kjv@Zechariah:8:23 @ Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.

kjv@Matthew:1:23 @ Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

kjv@Matthew:2:23 @ And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.

kjv@Matthew:4:23 @ And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

kjv@Matthew:5:23 @ Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;

kjv@Matthew:6:23 @ But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

kjv@Matthew:7:23 @ And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

kjv@Matthew:8:23 @ And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.

kjv@Matthew:9:23 @ And when Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise,

kjv@Matthew:10:23 @ But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

kjv@Matthew:11:23 @ And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.

kjv@Matthew:12:23 @ And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?

kjv@Matthew:13:23 @ But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

kjv@Matthew:14:23 @ And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

kjv@Matthew:16:23 @ But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

kjv@Matthew:23:1 @ Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,

kjv@Matthew:23:2 @ Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:

kjv@Matthew:23:3 @ All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

kjv@Matthew:23:4 @ For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.

kjv@Matthew:23:5 @ But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,

kjv@Matthew:23:6 @ And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,

kjv@Matthew:23:7 @ And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.

kjv@Matthew:23:8 @ But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.

kjv@Matthew:23:9 @ And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

kjv@Matthew:23:10 @ Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.

kjv@Matthew:23:12 @ And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

kjv@Matthew:23:14 @ Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.

kjv@Matthew:23:15 @ Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

kjv@Matthew:23:16 @ Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!

kjv@Matthew:23:17 @ Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?

kjv@Matthew:23:18 @ And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.

kjv@Matthew:23:19 @ Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?

kjv@Matthew:23:20 @ Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.

kjv@Matthew:23:21 @ And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein.

kjv@Matthew:23:22 @ And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.

kjv@Matthew:23:23 @ Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

kjv@Matthew:23:24 @ Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

kjv@Matthew:23:25 @ Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.

kjv@Matthew:23:26 @ Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

kjv@Matthew:23:27 @ Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

kjv@Matthew:23:28 @ Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

kjv@Matthew:23:29 @ Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,

kjv@Matthew:23:30 @ And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.

kjv@Matthew:23:31 @ Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.

kjv@Matthew:23:35 @ That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

kjv@Matthew:23:36 @ Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

kjv@Matthew:23:37 @ O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

kjv@Matthew:23:38 @ Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

kjv@Matthew:23:39 @ For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

kjv@Luke:23:8 @ And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him.

kjv@Luke:23:9 @ Then he questioned with him in many words; but he answered him nothing.

kjv@Luke:23:10 @ And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him.

kjv@Luke:23:11 @ And Herod with his men of war set him at nought, and mocked him, and arrayed him in a gorgeous robe, and sent him again to Pilate.

kjv@Luke:23:12 @ And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at enmity between themselves.

kjv@Luke:23:13 @ And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,

kjv@Luke:23:14 @ Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:

kjv@Luke:23:15 @ No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him.

kjv@Luke:23:16 @ I will therefore chastise him, and release him.

kjv@Luke:23:17 @ (For of necessity he must release one unto them at the feast.)

kjv@Luke:23:18 @ And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas:

kjv@Luke:23:19 @ (Who for a certain sedition made in the city, and for murder, was cast into prison.)

kjv@Luke:23:20 @ Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spake again to them.

kjv@Luke:23:21 @ But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him.

kjv@Luke:23:22 @ And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go.

kjv@Luke:23:23 @ And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.

kjv@Luke:23:24 @ And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.

kjv@Luke:23:25 @ And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Jesus to their will.

kjv@Luke:23:26 @ And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.

kjv@Luke:23:27 @ And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him.

kjv@Luke:23:28 @ But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.

kjv@Luke:23:29 @ For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.

kjv@Luke:23:30 @ Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.

kjv@Luke:23:31 @ For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?

kjv@Luke:23:32 @ And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.

kjv@Luke:23:33 @ And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

kjv@Luke:23:34 @ Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

kjv@Luke:23:35 @ And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.

kjv@Luke:23:36 @ And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar,

kjv@Luke:23:37 @ And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.

kjv@Luke:23:38 @ And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

kjv@Luke:23:39 @ And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.

kjv@Luke:23:40 @ But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

kjv@Luke:23:41 @ And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

kjv@Luke:23:42 @ And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

kjv@Luke:23:43 @ And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

kjv@Luke:23:44 @ And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.

kjv@Luke:23:45 @ And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.

kjv@Luke:23:46 @ And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

kjv@Luke:23:47 @ Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.

kjv@Luke:23:48 @ And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts, and returned.

kjv@Luke:23:49 @ And all his acquaintance, and the women that followed him from Galilee, stood afar off, beholding these things.

kjv@Luke:23:50 @ And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counsellor; and he was a good man, and a just:

kjv@Luke:23:51 @ (The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them;) he was of Arimathaea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God.

kjv@Luke:23:52 @ This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.

kjv@Luke:23:53 @ And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid.

kjv@Luke:23:54 @ And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on.

kjv@Luke:23:55 @ And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid.

kjv@Luke:23:56 @ And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.

kjv@Luke:24:23 @ And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.

kjv@John:6:23 @ (Howbeit there came other boats from Tiberias nigh unto the place where they did eat bread, after that the Lord had given thanks:)

kjv@John:13:23 @ Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.

kjv@John:14:23 @ Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

kjv@John:15:23 @ He that hateth me hateth my Father also.

kjv@John:16:23 @ And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

kjv@John:17:23 @ I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
