* Let a man so account (5737 ) of us , as of the ministers of Christ , and stewards of the mysteries of God . * Moreover it is required (5743 ) in stewards , that a man be found (5686 ) faithful . * But with me it is (5748 ) a very small thing that I should be judged (5686 ) of you , or of mans judgment : yea , I judge (5719 ) not mine own self . * For I know (5758 ) nothing by myself ; yet am I not hereby justified (5769 ): but he that judgeth (5723 ) me is (5748 ) the Lord . * Therefore judge (5720 ) nothing before the time , until the Lord come (5632 ), who both will bring to light (5692 ) the hidden things of darkness , and will make manifest (5692 ) the counsels of the hearts : and then shall every man have (5695 ) praise of God . * And these things , brethren , I have in a figure transferred (5656 ) to myself and to Apollos for your sakes ; that ye might learn (5632 ) in us not to think (5721 ) of men above that which is written (5769 ), that no one of you be puffed up (5747 ) for one against another . * For who maketh thee to differ (5719 ) from another ? and what hast thou (5719 ) that thou didst not receive (5627 )? now if thou didst receive (5627 ) it , why dost thou glory (5736 ), as if thou hadst not received (5631 ) it ? * Now ye are (5748 ) full (5772 ), now ye are rich (5656 ), ye have reigned as kings (5656 ) without us : and I would to God ye did reign (5656 ), that we also might reign with (5661 ) you . * For I think (5719 ) that God hath set forth (5656 ) us the apostles last , as it were appointed to death : for we are made (5675 ) a spectacle unto the world , and to angels , and to men . * We are fools for Christs sake , but ye are wise in Christ ; we are weak , but ye are strong ; ye are honourable , but we are despised . * Even unto this present hour we both hunger (5719 ), and thirst (5725 ), and are naked (5719 ), and are buffeted (5743 ), and have no certain dwellingplace (5719 ); * And labour (5719 ), working (5740 ) with our own hands : being reviled (5746 ), we bless (5719 ); being persecuted (5746 ), we suffer it (5736 ): * Being defamed (5746 ), we intreat (5719 ): we are made (5675 ) as the filth of the world , and are the offscouring of all things unto this day . * I write (5719 ) not these things to shame (5723 ) you , but as my beloved sons I warn (5719 ) you . * For though ye have (5725 ) ten thousand instructors in Christ , yet have ye not many fathers : for in Christ Jesus I have begotten (5656 ) you through the gospel . * Wherefore I beseech (5719 ) you , be ye (5737 ) followers of me . * For this cause have I sent (5656 ) unto you Timotheus , who is (5748 ) my beloved son , and faithful in the Lord , who shall bring you into remembrance (5692 ) of my ways which be in Christ , as I teach (5719 ) every where in every church . * Now some are puffed up (5681 ), as though I would not come (5740 ) to you . * But I will come (5695 ) to you shortly , if the Lord will (5661 ), and will know (5695 ), not the speech of them which are puffed up (5772 ), but the power . * For the kingdom of God is not in word , but in power . * What will ye (5719 )? shall I come (5632 ) unto you with a rod , or in love , and in the spirit of meekness ?
