* Little children , it is (5748 ) the last time : and as ye have heard (5656 ) that antichrist shall come (5736 ), even now are there (5754 ) many antichrists ; whereby we know (5719 ) that it is (5748 ) the last time . * They went out (5627 ) from us , but they were (5713 ) not of us ; for if they had been (5713 ) of us , they would no doubt have continued (5715 ) with us : but they went out , that they might be made manifest (5686 ) that they were (5748 ) not all of us . * But ye have (5719 ) an unction from the Holy One , and ye know (5758 ) all things . * I have not written (5656 ) unto you because ye know (5758 ) not the truth , but because ye know (5758 ) it , and that no lie is (5748 ) of the truth . * Who is (5748 ) a liar but he that denieth (5740 ) that Jesus is (5748 ) the Christ ? He is (5748 ) antichrist , that denieth (5740 ) the Father and the Son . * Whosoever denieth (5740 ) the Son , the same hath (5719 ) not the Father : (but ) he that acknowledgeth (5723 ) the Son hath (5719 ) the Father also . * Let that therefore abide (5720 ) in you , which ye have heard (5656 ) from the beginning . If that which ye have heard (5656 ) from the beginning shall remain (5661 ) in you , ye also shall continue (5692 ) in the Son , and in the Father . * And this is (5748 ) the promise that he hath promised (5662 ) us , even eternal life . * These things have I written (5656 ) unto you concerning them that seduce (5723 ) you .
