* Brethren , I write (5719 ) no new commandment unto you , but an old commandment which ye had (5707 ) from the beginning . The old commandment is (5748 ) the word which ye have heard (5656 ) from the beginning . * Again , a new commandment I write (5719 ) unto you , which thing is (5748 ) true in him and in you : because the darkness is past (5731 ), and the true light now shineth (5719 ). * He that saith (5723 ) he is (5750 ) in the light , and hateth (5723 ) his brother , is (5748 ) in darkness even until now . * He that loveth (5723 ) his brother abideth (5719 ) in the light , and there is (5748 ) none occasion of stumbling in him .
