* He that saith (5723 ) he is (5750 ) in the light , and hateth (5723 ) his brother , is (5748 ) in darkness even until now . * He that loveth (5723 ) his brother abideth (5719 ) in the light , and there is (5748 ) none occasion of stumbling in him . * But he that hateth (5723 ) his brother is (5748 ) in darkness , and walketh (5719 ) in darkness , and knoweth (5758 ) not whither he goeth (5719 ), because that darkness hath blinded (5656 ) his eyes .
