* And ye know (5758 ) that he was manifested (5681 ) to take away (5661 ) our sins ; and in him is (5748 ) no sin . * Whosoever abideth (5723 ) in him sinneth (5719 ) not : whosoever sinneth (5723 ) hath not seen (5758 ) him , neither known (5758 ) him . * Little children , let no man deceive (5720 ) you : he that doeth (5723 ) righteousness is (5748 ) righteous , even as he is (5748 ) righteous . * He that committeth (5723 ) sin is (5748 ) of the devil ; for the devil sinneth (5719 ) from the beginning . For this purpose the Son of God was manifested (5681 ), that he might destroy (5661 ) the works of the devil .
