* Beloved , let us love (5725 ) one another : for love is (5748 ) of God ; and every one that loveth (5723 ) is born (5769 ) of God , and knoweth (5719 ) God . * He that loveth (5723 ) not knoweth (5627 ) not God ; for God is (5748 ) love . * In this was manifested (5681 ) the love of God toward us , because that God sent (5758 ) his only begotten Son into the world , that we might live (5661 ) through him . * Herein is (5748 ) love , not that we loved (5656 ) God , but that he loved (5656 ) us , and sent (5656 ) his Son to be the propitiation for our sins . * Beloved , if God so loved (5656 ) us , we ought (5719 ) also to love (5721 ) one another .
